This is a very strong and potent medicine. Although it stopped my very severe post nasal drainage, I had such a stuffy nose that I had to take ibuprofen to reduce the swelling. Minor headache but very good over all.

I have severe persistent asthma which is sometimes induced by allergies. I am on Advair, Singulair, Allegra, Veramyst, Protonix, Prednisone, and Duonebs on a daily basis. I can also add in my MDI or my epipen as needed(I have anaphylaxis also, hence the epipen). I am prescribed to use the Duonebs every 6 hours every day no matter what, and I can increase it to every 4 or every 2 hours as needed. Due to the frequent use of Albuterol my potassium and magnesium levels are very low. The potassium level being low causes me to have extremely painful cramps in my calfs and the small of my back and irritability, and the magnesium level being low can then cause my asthma to be even worse. These are the long-term side effects that I have experienced, the short-term side effects include jitters, dizziness, headache, and elevated heart rate (my heart rate almost never raises, and yet after a Duonebs treatment one time my heart rate would jump from 70 to 130 to 70 all in a 10 second period of time). I do not like using Duonebs, and if I had a choice I would not, but it is the only thing that has given me any relief from my asthma. My MDI (Metered Dose Inhaler) side effects are limited to being jittery, and this has been eliminated by using a spacer chamber which my doctor prescribed and was completely free, I just had to pick it up at the pharmacy. The spacer chamber delivers the medicine more efficiently to your lungs instead of allowing some of it to go down the back of your throat into your stomach.

I have had the most horrible and irritating dry cough I have ever had with this medication. In addition to this I have very vivid HD type realistic nightmares which occur during the rare times I am actually sleeping and not coughing. I now have to take cough medicene before going out because anything, I mean anything can set this cough off. I can't even go to the movies anymore! By the way my high blood presssure is still the same...go figure.

I've been on Wellbutrin XL 150 for a few months and I love it! The first few weeks were a bit hard because I felt constantly jumpy, nervous, and had a hard time sleeping. But there are side effects with almost everything for the first little while! Now that I've been on it for a while, I've noticed I'm losing weight, feeling energetic, and I feel hopeful about my life! Also I have a ridiculously increased sex drive. It may not be right for everyone, but for me it's been awesome so far.

I TOOK SINGULAIR FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND A HALF LAST YEAR WHEN I FIRST DEVELOPED ASTHMA. SINCE ASTHMA WAS NEW TO ME, I JUST THOUGHT I WAS MOODY AND PANICKING OVER THE ASTHMA AND NOT THE MEDICENES USED IN THE NEBULIZER, THE ADVAIR OR THE SINGULAIR. EVENTUALLY I STOPPED TAKING THE SINGULAIR AND STOPPED DOING MY NEBULIZER (I KEPT TAKING ADVAIR) JUST BECAUSE I DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS CAUSING MY MOOD SWINGS AND PANIC AND THOUGHT IT COULD BE THE MEDICENE. I ALSO COULD NOT SLEEP AT NIGHT AND DID NOT KNOW WHY. WHEN I STOPPED THE SINGULAIR AND THE NEBULIZER I FELT MUCH BETTER AND WAS ABLE TO SLEEP AGAIN. AFTER ABOUT THREE TO FOUR MONTHS I STARTED DOING THE NEBULIZER AGAIN SINCE THE ASTHMA WAS FLARING UP AGAIN. IT SEEMED TO HELP ME AND I DID NOT FEEL ANY OF THE FEELINGS I FELT THE LAST TIME. JUST THEN I REALIZED WHAT I FELT WAS PROBABLY DUE TO THE SINGULAIR. JUST TWO DAYS AGO I WENT BACK TO THE DOCTOR AND SHE SAID I MAY NEED A MICKEY MOUSE DOSE OF THE SINGULAIR (5MG) AND A LOWER DOSE OF THE ADVAIR. TONIGHT IS THE SECOND NIGHT I TOOK IT AND I SUDDENLY GOT THE RAPID HEARTBEAT AND A MINIMAL PANIC ATTACK. I TOLD MYSELF I WOULD NOT LOOK ON THE NET BECAUSE IT WOULD JUST MAKE ME NERVOUS BUT I DID ANYWAY. I FOUND THIS SITE AND I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW MANY PEOPLE HAD THE SAME COMPLAINTS I DID ESPECIALLY SINCE I FELT LIKE I WAS NUTS WHEN I MENTIONED THIS TO MY PULMONOLOGIST AND HE LOOKED AT ME LIKE THERE WAS NO WAY IT COULD BE THE SINGULAIR. THIS SITE CONFIRMED WHAT I WAS THINKING. YEARS AGO I HAD A VERY BAD REACTION TO A DIFFERENT DRUG (ACCUTANE) AND AFTER 3 MONTHS I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. A LOT OF THE DRUGS OUT THERE WORK WONDERS AND ARE MEANT TO HELP OUR CONDITIONS HOWEVER, EVERYONE KNOWS THEIR BODIES AND WHENEVER WE FEEL SOMETHING THAT IS NOT LISTED IN THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE MEDICENE DOES NOT MEAN IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. ALTHOUGH THE SIDE EFFECTS I HAVE FELT WITH SINGULAIR ARE NOT AS SEVERE AS I HAD WITH THE ACCUTANE IT IS STILL ENOUGH FOR ME TO STOP TAKING IT. I WILL GO BACK TO TAKING THE HIGHER DOSE OF ADVAIR AND I WILL DEFINITELY LET MY DOCTORS KNOW THAT WHAT I FELT WAS THE SINGULAIR AND NOT ME.

I've been taking topral for about 4 or 5 months.
It was prescribed to me in order to slow down my heartbeat.
SInce I've been taking Topral, I seem to itch a lot.
A couple of times, I purposely skipped taking it and seemed the itching stopped.
I called my doctor and they said the itching is not from the drug.
I check my blood pressure everyday and sometimes it drops to 100/55 and 115/60 and the dr. office told me not to be alarmed.
