Hi, thought I'd share my positive story about having Mirena removed. Having it removed was no doubt the best decision even though two doctors told me that it was not necessary and the loss of hair, graying and loss of libido could not be due to Mirena since it releases minute amounts of hormones locally. Not only have I seen a return to my libido but the hair loss has stopped. this cannot be placebo effect. Even my husband has noticed the difference (no more clogged drains). Thank God! I felt like I was aging at the rate of knots. I now feel so much happier, healthier and more attractive. For all out there who are wondering if it's the Mirena causing hair loss etc, I sincerely believe it is probably very much the case, despite what the medics will tell you. Best wishes.

I was given this pill as all the others I have tried caused me to feel suicidal and very angry so I start on this pill and feel great no symptoms for about 2 months it gets rid of my spots and bad p.m.t but all of a sudden I start to feel run down and have headaches this then becomes sinusitis I think I'm over the worst and iv just had a virus but not long after the palpations begin and I panic they get worse and they become very fast and I don't even want to get up as it sets my heart to race it is noticeable even when still and I went to a&e one night even had an ambulance out as I thought I was dieing it was so fast, but the medics couldnt find nothing wrong I had thyroid tests at g.ps and then it was said I should go on anti depressants which seemed to work a little but I was very ill four a good 4 months I mean I was in turmoil I didn't know what was wrong with me I felt like I couldest breath I was dizzy all time I had the worst ringing in my ears all the time (very hard to sleep with this) but slowly started to feel better, but I couldnt stand the repeat attacks of sinusitis and my ears are always blocked I have stopped taking Yasmin a few days a go and I hope I start to feel better soon but I am very angry that this is going un heard by our medical pros as its there job to learn about these things, I hope we all get over this and get this drug banned.

My father 64 years old has been on Lipitor for over 2 years. In the past few months he has been very quiet, finding it hard to talk and he knows what he wants to say but some words are hard to say. Severe fatique, he moves much slower, difficulty reading and to understand what he's reading. Finds it hard to write and draw and when he is sleeping he has awful twitching. Is this because of Lipitor? we are waiting for an MRI and EEG the doctor seems to feel it might be dementia or Alzheimer's and maybe so but that all doesn't add up.
Does anyone else feel like this?
Is there hope, we have taken him off Lipitor 2 days ago.
Does anyone have a good result to hear?
How do check to see if Lipitor is the problem where does that show up?

I had a kenalog injection in my shoulder at the end of October during my period, my next period was 4 days late and appeared to be normal, 18 days later I started bleeding again which went on for 13 days, I had 5 days off and am now bleeding yet again. I have an added complication of being on warfarin for life for recurrent PEs so Drs are unable to give me anything to stop the bleeding. I was referred for a pelvic scan and am now waiting to see a gynaecologist. No medics seem willing to admit kenalog may be the cause. As my blood has to be kept thinner & I bleed easily, I am very concerned at the amount of blood I am losing. When I had the initial jab the consultant did warn me I may have menstrual irregularities which I interpreted to be a few days early or late, certainly not non-stop bleeding.
I couldn't believe what I was reading when I found this site, so many of us are suffering, why weren't we warned of the side effects. I certainly wouldn't have had the first injection if I had known and I will not have any further ones.

I've read 20 to 25 writeups across the last 12 months from people taking this drug for bladder infection. A re-accuring grouping stands out: hot and cold flashes, loss of appetite, fever, restlessness, inability to sleep, and accasional diizziness. I've experienced these plus a call to the para medics thinking I might be having a heart attack because I was prespiring heavily, was dizzy and had passed out.
