I've been taking zoloft for about 4 days and I've felt almost like I was on meth for 2 of the days, and I lost a lot of my water weight(drink a lot of water with this) , sweating a lot, and just kinda tripped out. The mood change is crazy, I felt goofy out of the blue for no reason. I've been clenching my jaw and that guy was right, a little high grade marijuana goes a long way! Waking up suddenly but falling right back asleep, and kind of an alertness to everything.
Hopefully I level out, I have bad social anxiety which causes me to studder but this seems to be helping a little so far.
Does anybody know about drinking with this, is it safe to have a couple beers or do I have to stick to iced tea?

My 6 year old son has had all of these more or less. He has been on Singulair for about 5 months. We took him off last Friday when he started having seizures. It is only now that we are connecting the things he has complained about. He is still going through testing but everytime a test is done it is negative. He is in perfect health. The dr.s are stumped. What happens is, he smells a wierd smell. Then he sees lights. After this he has a bad headache and becomes weak so he lays down. Shortly thereafter he stiffens and starts shaking his arms and legs while clinching his hands. He also grunts and makes a buzzing sound and appears as though he only breathes out. the dr.s say it is not seizures but movement disorder and if it is Singulair it should be out of his system within 3 days... He is still having the seizure type fits and its been a week since we took him off singulair. He is still losing his temper and having horrible dreams as well. Cat scan was normal, EEG was normal, blood work is ok, they want to do an MRI but does this sound familiar to anyone?

I stoped taking effexor 13 days ago due to financial difficultys and couldnt afford to re-up. before that however i was on effexor for a year, 150 mg. I logged online yesterday to read other forums on withdrawls if any that others may be experiencing, I was amazed to see that the physical conditions I was experiencing trouble with were widley experienced by others as well, I was just relived, i didnt know what to make of all the horrable withdrawls i was going through, not knowing they were just that. so day 13 and I am feeling much better, I am exited to get back to my self 100%. I started taking effexor to begin with to help with depression and ADD. It didnt help that i was also abusing meth, so i probably needed it more then as far as depression goes and getting off the dope. Im clean now, and im such good spirits, Effexor worked for me in so many ways and i am greatfull for that. But one thing I wont miss is the lazyness that i felt most of the time, I hard a hard time sleeping, and never slept through the night, then id want to sleep the next day, I couldnt drive for fear of falling asleep on the road, which did happen plenty of times to cause the fear. I was in a good mood but motovation was low. Well thanks for letting me share with all of you, reading the poasts here really helped me to understand what it was i was going through. Best wishes!

I have been on Methadone for approx. six months for a second time and i have been getting extremely clammy and i sweat and have heat attacks so severe, i'm so afraid of this summer, afraid i might have a heat stroke. It seems my body cannot control my heating system. Someone suggested i might be starting menopause, but i do not have sweating spells unless i'm moving around or even standing ,or if it's hot, not like hot flashes in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. Also i have always had the best blood pressure, now i have high blood pressure since using methasone for pain control and i have to take Toprol. Doctors think it's just a coincidence but i know it's the meth and i am slowly weaning off. I just hope my body can return to normal. Has anyone had these same problems.

I just started taking meth pack 4 yesterday. During the night my legs started hurting and they are hurting worse today. I am taking this med for my sinuses. My Dr. told me to eat yogurt to calm my stomach. I guess I will continue my med but I don't like the feeling I get.

Hot flashes, headache, NO sex drive; repulsed by any sexual intamicy. Very uncomfortable wetness in vagina, severe depression, boyfriend has nearly lost all patients. Horrible memory loss, blurred vision, spacey and cannot focus on anything. I look horrible too, my eyes look like I'm a meth head, sunken in look, too bad the Kate Moss look has passed (joking). Had surgery last June, no help with that or birth control therapy, now on third month of Lupron. Really want to melt away. Hot flashes all night and day, insomnia. Skin has frequent rash appearences.
Any helpful ideas? email me at ******

Here is my experience, I am confused only because I know part of what happened to me is my own fault.
To make a long story short I overdosed (intentionally) on a different drug called Lamictal. This is a seizure med. When that event happened I was on a course of Levaquin. I was on day four. I was to take it for 24 days for a sinus infection that showed up on a CT scan.
I know that this sounds horrible, but my overdose was small. No overdose is small though, but what happened to me just didn't seem right in comparison to the amount of pills I took. My mind is telling me I have no right to question anything considering what I did.
After taking the pills, I passed out and ended up being flown to a different hospital as my condition was worsening. They told me that before I left the hospital, my urine had already started to turn brown.. I don't know what that means.
When I woke up in ICU the doctor was yelling at me asking me what other drugs I took. He said that an overdose of Lamictal would never have causes what was happening. He asked if I was on meth or had taken Benadryl. I was sweating a lot, my heart rate was 150, my liver and kidney functions were bad, and the worst of it all, I had a CK level of 70,000. I had developed.. excuse my spelling... rhabdomylisis. My whole body hurt. Every single joint in my body was hurting, I could not stand and I could not walk. They told me that I was going to probably have to go on dialysis. I ended up being in the hospital for 8 days. My numbers returned to normal after 7 days of leaving the hospital.
The doctor there still thinks I was lying about what I took because what happened "Makes no sense." When they found me in my apartment they said I had "Serotonin syndrome." Which is caused by antidepressants. They said that the muscles in my body had gone completely ridgid and I was having a seizure that they could not stop. What they told me is they couldn't move one muscle in my body. My doctor said that they assumed that I o'd on my antidepressants too. Which I didn't.
Anyway, it has been a little over a month since the event, and that sinus infection is again being treated with Levaquin. I will take my 2nd dose today. Since that day I have been off all of my meds, but I am starting some of them back up. My Lamictal, my synthroid and now this Levaquin. I am scared to death. I have been searching the internet and all of a sudden I started finding that levaquin caused rhabdomylisis in several patients... although "rare."
Do you all have suggestions for me? The part that makes this the worst is YES I did overdose on pills. I assume this is why no one has really looked into why I had such problems. Should I stop taking this pill right away? I suppose most of you would say yes. I'm just not sure.
