I am 47-year old, male. I started taking Singulair about 4 months ago to treat my allergy. I had very bad running nose and itchy eyes and was sneezing a lot. None of the antihistamines were effective. Amazingly Singulair has been very helpful. I stopped taking it few days ago thinking my allergy has gone as the season has gone. But everything is back. After reading these much about the side effects of Cingulair, I am scared that it might be dangerous to continue taking it. I have not experienced any bad effects, but don’t know to tolerate the allergy symptoms or keep taking Cingulair. Is there anyone who has had no bad experience with it after taking it for a long time? Please advise. Thanks.

I have been on Yasmin for a few months now and within the first month I had worse dry skin than usual. I dismissed it, thinking that such a minor side-effect was better than the mood swings I had on other pills. (That was why i was prescribed Yasmin--because the pill I has been on before made me very moody). I didn't even think of the other side effect until it became recurring. If I do not eat immediately before and immediately after taking my pill, my heart starts to race and I have a thickness in my throat. I gag and sometimes throw up. Now, I have awful allergies, but I usually have a stuffed up nose. Instead, I am hacking up phlem CONSTANTLY and am wondering if anyone else felt as though they had something thick in the back of their throat making them want to throw up?

I am 36 years old with three psa readings in the last 6 months of 7.9, 2.3 and the last one this week after four weeks of Cipro, 3.5.

Dr. wants to start proscar. Before I consider it, I want to know other men's side effects and feelings about this drug.
