Morn symptoms and conditions

I cant tell whats the sinus infection and whats from the DOXY took it last night, took it this morn threw up and just tried another dose very lite headed, sick icky feeling no appetite burning in chest and very very weak head is not clearing at all...feel a bit worse if ya ask me. jeeeez help me!!!

I have had the mirena for about 11/2 years, i got it after my daughter was born....i went to work today with really bad cramps, i felt like i was in labor all over again as the night went on they go worst it feels like the mirena is Scratching my uterus wall, i am scared it might be lost in me, the pains keep getting worst i am going to the doc first thing in the morn, i cant deal with this anymore...i have been wanting to get it out for along time but my boyfriend would not let me, i had him read all the post you guys have wrote and now he finally agrees its a good idea.... thank you..... i have a lot of side effects all of them were mention in the posts....i have gained 50 pounds bcuz of this evil thing. i wont it out so bad! thank you girls for your post it means a lot!

Well I wrote yesterday and told my story about the Mirena I called my doctors office this morning and made an apt to have it taken out they asked me what kind of insurance I have and I told them medicaid they told me since I had that she would have to ask the doctor that put it in because if you have medicaid they like for you to keep it in for a few years to get your money worth. I asked even with me with me having all these symptoms she said yea when I told her I have been bleeding for a week and a half now she said your probably just having a miscarriage (like it was nothing) I was so pissed off. So she called me back after she talked to my doctor and told me she wanted to see me for a physical in the morn I asked if she can take it out tomorrow and she said it depends so we will see.. im going to tell her if she don't want to take it out I will (don't really want to do that) I'll post again tomorrow after my apt.

Took liquid fosamax for the first time Monday morn. By Friday evening I felt like a truck hit me, from my neck to my hips I was in such pain I could hardly move. My rib cage feels like its filled with bricks. No more of this fosamax for me. With all I have been reading,here and on webmd, its hard to believe nothing is done. It's all a money think and I am sick of doctors trying to push every drug there is on you. Did you ever watch TV for a few hours and count how many drug ads are on?? If it was up to them, we would each be on 20 pills a day.

too all, i have a slow thyroid, my doctor today put me on levoxyl tabs. 75mcg, gave me samples take one a day in the morn. got my blood work back and thats why the doctor is putting me on this med. cause my thyroid is not working like it should. i weighed out at 282 when i went in this morning for my appt. with him. so i will start tomorrow morn when i wake up. i will let you know what happens in a few days. today is 10-23-08 Thursday. i'm to go back for a blood test next and then to see him the following week to the doctor again. i read all of your comments on this medication sure didn't sound to exciting. till next time. Hi! I JUST had the Mirena put in Yesterday...Tues. And within one hour I started to feel foggy, light headed and crazy! I started getting a pressure headache. Being the last patient of the day, I knew the office was closed. So I looked online and found you all. I am horrified at this point! I couldn't sleep last night at all! I was so nauseous and had the poops. (sorry, tmi) Today I feel full of anxiety and my heart is racing. I feel like I'm on drugs or drunk! My head is still pounding. I kept calling my OBGYN and didn't talk to him until about 2 hrs ago. He said none of these symptoms are from the Mirena. So I hear that is most of the Docs words around here! He suggested I give it more time and call him in a few days and if I want it out, he will take it out. Well the thing is, I am ready to pull it out myself! I feel like I'm crazy! Seriously! I don't know what to do! I called my PCP and they refuse to take it out b/c they didn't put it in. They suggested going to the ER. Well my insurance for sure won't cover that!! So what do I do? I feel like I'm going crazy and no one will listen! We are moving to Italy in a month nd I need this resolved AWAY before then! Any advice will help! I just know when I call my doc, he will try to make me keep it in! What do I do?? HELP! Thanks for being here! Wish I had found you before. I am really good about researching things and I didn't with this. I trusted my doc! The other thing is I hear a ton of you have gained weight!!! I JUST had a full tummy tuck June 5th and I freaking better not gain weight!! LOL I want this out!! Calling my doc tomorrow and demanding he take it out. My wife is experiencing severe muscle pain in the back and rib area after taking this drug. Has anyone gotten better after they stopped taking the medication or is everyone still suffering?

I recently went into the hospital with vocal cord Polyps problems. They had swelled and Predisone was used to bring down the swelling. The Polyps were flopping over into my airway. Prednisone is terrible stuff and I think they started me out at a MUCH higher dose than normal. They started me out with 2-20mg, morn and night for 3 days..tapering down in a 2 1/2 week period. I started feeling worse than when I went into the hospital. My tongue and mouth was on fire.then moved to my lips..heart pulsing, swelling ankles, and dried my mouth and throat so bad. I just felt weak and my whole body seemed not to work right. Like everyone say's..this stuff should never be given to human or animal. Something ain't right with; this picture..that's for sure. I've had just about every side effect you can name.

I was given Levaquin 750 1 pill a day for 7 days, this was on Wednesday for bronchitis. The first 2 days no effects, except for my joints started to hurt, especially in my ankles. Then on Thursday eve, the pain was so severe, I had
to take a muscle relaxer and pain pill. THis helped for awhile, then Friday morn early pain was so severe, I could not hardly move in my joints. Friday morn I took my pill and about 20 minutes later, I started vomiting, projectile, for about 20 minutes nonstop. I thought I was going to pass out. This finally stopped. I did not take no more meds til Saturday eve, 1/2 pill. I got so stff and severe pain, I could not get out to barn for chores. I have taken no more, and today is Monday, my joints hurt, especially my ankles, hard to walk. I have a lump on back of right knee. This medicine is bad. I have had severe headache, joint pain, nausea, and left me feeling quite depressed. Called doctor, but he didn't seem to concerned.

I've been taking Cephalin Monohydrate now for two days: one every hour and my heart seeded up a double (up to 120 beats per minute). I'm taking it tonight cause I afraid I might have a heart attack if my heart beats get faster. I stopped taking now for nine hours and my heart beats are getting back to normal little by little.

I have been on it for a lil over a week now for anxiety

The 1st day I had a headache I usually never ever get headaches!!
I still have dry mouth
very tired & also YAWNING attacks sounds funny but I'm dead serious It lasts for maybe an hr once in the morn & also once in the late afternoon I'll yawn like 20-30x my jaw even gets tired but I still feel like I have to yawn more :o

don't know if I'll stay on it I'm hoping the longer I'm on the better the S/E's will get?? I'm on 10mg right now it does seem to be helping somewhat for the anxiety though so we'll see?

After taking Topamax for six months, I found my self different person.... I started feeling this way just in the first few weeks after I started the medication, but the simptoms incleased with the time....Anxiety, nervousness, panick attacks, negative thinking and depression....crying, making up problems from nothing, hair loss also....I decided to stop it, slowly and without any concequences I thought I am out of it....But just a couple weeks I stop it is I noticed some red spots on my skin on the lower legs, soon they became more and stronger..... Two months later I was in abnormal stress that I am going to be sick from a terrible desease... Read so much on Internet.... I can explain how terrible I felt and even though I did blood tests (everything was in normal range!!) and spoke with so many doctors, nobody could tell me what exactly is wron with me. One Dermatologist named the skin problem as Progressive Pigmentary purpura and gave me a cream for that. Thanks a lot for that because the spots started desapearing, but it may come again.... nobody knows for sure.... I think this is another side effect of Topamax, that nobody had before..... Please tell me if somebody else had the same situation... I will feel much more relieved....

I am taking a few meds and im having trouble distinguishing which side effect goes with what lol ..i.e. paxil for anxiety panic attacks and depression topamax and HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE for borderline blood pressure ,well i have experienced tingling in the hands and the feet ..lack of appt,i wouldn't say my desire for sex is gone but im experiencing vaginal dryness itching and numbness like a tingling feeling as well as problems climaxing sorry tmi lol ... thought it was a yeast infection but its kinda different? any girls ever exp that before while on paxil ? would love any feedback on tihs been on paxil now 2 and half weeks take it in the morning because it was keeping me wide awake at night insomnia lol doctor told me to take it at bedtime i tried for a week and i was wired so the pharmacist told me to take it in the morn said it causes insomnia also when i first started taking it made me feel really jittery for the first few hrs then i would get a real mellow feeling lol so i guess i was getting my high then my low i dunno but now it has even out and i feel great oh ya btw the other day i was watching a sad movie and i wanted to cry felt the need to cry but the tears wouldn't come out lol i was laughing i said damn paxil hahahhaha but hey rather be non emotional than emotional wreck lol ...so far so good exept for the vaginal thing its driving me crazy any suggestions that may have worked for you ? thanks .....

I'm taking 400 mg of Provigil, 200 in the morn and 200 in the afternoon. What are the side effects? I take five diff. drugs and am trying to figure out what med. is causing what in my body. Also is this drug safe to take for a long time? I am taking it for Bipolar 1 disorder because my other drugs make me groggy. I get facial paresthesia (pins and needles, skin energy feeling) as the day wears on. does anyone experience this from Provigil? I think it might be from Geodon, but i want to be clear. Thanks.

I am a 32 y/o female that was put on Topamax 10 days ago for migraines. I am taking 25mg twice a day so far, and the side effects I have experienced are all carbonated drinks taste flat; including beer, and if I take it close to bed time, I cannot sleep. The medication actually revs me up! Nothing i cannot handle. I have not had any problems with loss of appetite, nausea or diarrhea. Sure, sometimes I feel a little spacey, but I did that even before I started the medication. My doctor did tell me that you do need to drink plenty of water and eat plenty of protein. Also, when I start to feel a little spacey, eating a small amount of sugar seems to help with that... I have had a few headaches since starting the medication, but I haven't had a full blown migraine!!! I will continue to keep you posted. So far, I haven't had any side effects that i can't live with and by reading the posts and talking with several other people on the medication, it seems like the side effects are temporary and improve as your body "adjusts" to the medication. I am a nurse and I guess I am at at advantage because I am educating people on daily basis about this very issue!

i've been reading ur posts and i also have been on "yaz".. but until now i hadnt encountered any problems...i saw my last real period that started on december 24.. i started my new pack 1 day late n missed a couple of pills during the month but when i was due for my jan period it never showed...i took my placebo pills n when i was due to start my new pack i had this brown discharge...for about 1 day.. i thought i may b preggers so i didnt start my new pack n had unprotected sex with my bf..now im due for my feb period n its nowhere to be seen...i have tender breasts n had some cramping this morn but nothing more..i took a blood tes about 2 wks ago n it was neg...so i was expecting my period...
HAS ANY OF THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE HERE????

I take 200mg's of Lam 100 in morn and 100 at night, along with 3 mgs of klonopin. I really don't have any severe side effects, but the one side that does bother me is that it takes me a very long time to orgasm, I mean a very long time and my sex drive has diminished significately, but I guess that is ok because my wife isn't a big fan of sex any way. But again maybe it's not the drugs that cause thgis side effect it could jubst be my wife. HA HA

I'm not sure what to think about Advair. My 16 yr old son has asthma & has been on Advair for a few years & did well for the most part. While on vacation last summer he came down w/2 ear infections & quickly went downhill. He had an attack & was nearly closed up completely; went to the ER & received several breathing treatments, a steroid shot & was released w/oral steroid prescription/antibiotics. The next afternoon he had another attck & went back to the ER. He was given breathing treatments & then an IV steroid treatment. He immediately got a raging headache & got morphine for the pain, started severely hallucinating & violently flipped for hours. He eventually was well enough to leave & woke up the next morn as a vegetable. Didn't know where he was...was hallucinating, couldn't walk etc. We went back home to his family doctor. It turned out the steroids was the culprit. I didn't know Advair was a form of steroid, & the IV steroids caused his psychosis, & he just had too much steroids in his system overall. A few days later he came out of it. My mother had said she heard Advair can cause severe infections & actually worsen asthma. I asked his DR & he said there were other reasons for those problems which didn't pertain to my son, so he's still taking Advair.

Ever since that episode, he is much more susceptible to EVERYTHING. First semester of school he missed a total of 10 days. He'd also been having horrible mood swings, could not sleep at night & then went into a depression. So he was precribed a low dosage of Elavil. This was about 10 weeks ago. 12 days ago he started wheezing & coughing, so we did his at home nebulizer treatments. He went to the DR & was diagnosed w/bronchitus & was given a Z-pak. Last weekend he worsened, took him back to the DR Monday & was diagnosed w/walking pnemonia. He was given another Z-pak & oral steroids. He's slowly getting better, but has missed 9 days of school & I don't know when he'll be well enough to return.

My mom researched Advair again & found that you shouldn't take it w/Elavil, which he is still taking. She also found that side effects from Advair are eveything my son is dealing with. My husband thinks she's nuts, but I have to wonder can Advair actually be making my son worse?

I am taking Topomax for migraines. I always start everything at a really LOW dose since I have a lot of probs with side effects. Started at 15 mg and went right away to 30mg (15mg twice daily) the second week because I was dying from headaches. The other antidepressants prescribed for constant daily headache prevention all of a sudden weren't working. I didn't want to take my abortive med for migraines every day (Amerge) so I was curious if Topomax might help my daily headache pain. Possibly my daily headaches had become migraines... so hard to tell one from the other anymore. I teach exercise for a living and so much of my headache pain is exercise induced. I found that while on topomax, all of a sudden 2 Advil would take away a headache I would get after exercising which never happened before. I would take two Advil before doing some of my hardest exercise to prevent a headache and for the most part that worked too... and that never worked before. I had tried all kinds of NSAID's before and after exercise at the advice of my neurologist to no avail. I did have one diffuse headache yesterday that might have been a true migraine and I took Amerge because Advil didn't help. I have been on the 30 mg two week now. But, now the downside. Since on the 30mg I feel like my chest is heavy a lot of time when I do water exercise... I am exhausted a lot doing my usual routines... I feel edgy, can't sleep well at night. I HAVE to have a two hour nap after teaching in the morning or I can't function mentally or physically. I sleep well for that nap time. Seems like I have thermoregulation problems. I teach water exercise and if the water is a little cold it bothers me and it never used to. Then in the pool awhile I feel hot. Same when I sleep.. I need a lot of covers, then I throw them off. Then they are on again. No I am not menopausal yet. My brain is hazy on topomax as well. I take bellydance lessons and sometimes I realize I can't remember what my teacher just told me. Now people reading this, don't think that just because this happens to me, it will happen to you. I know people who LOVE topomax with zero side effects. They don't tend to write in to posting boards. Also, sometimes side effects go away. Be patient if you want to give topomax a shot. I am thinking I am going to go back to 15 mg again... and see how I tolerate that. Because I teach exercise, the hardest thing is to feel the heaviness in the chest and the lack of ambition. This is not me. It is great not to have the headache pain, but I don't know if this is the drug for me. I was excited about the "losing weight " side effect , and I could see how skinny people who lose their appetite easily might be affected, but it takes a lot to stop me from eating LOL darn! I did read in another chat some poor chap had sinisitis for months and took TONS of antibiotics before finding out Topomax gives sinisitis type side effects in a small amount of people. So if you get sinisitis, don't take antibiotics before checking out if topomax is the culprit.

My heart goes out to every person out there trying to find the magic bullet for their headache, siezures, whatever... ADVICE.. .start with SMALL doses... you may be able to get used to side effects if you work up slowly in ALL drugs. In many drugs that didn't come in small doses, I took out 3/4 of what was inside just to get a mini dose. Ask your doc if you can mix one capsule or one pounded up tab of your med with juice and store it in the referigerator. You can drink say 1/8 cup a day of the juice to get 1/8 of a capsule. It is a lot easier than chopping up a tab into eighths. Also ask your doc about childrens doses that come in liquids with droppers. Topomax makes taking smaller doses easy with the sprinkles.. you are encouraged to open the capsule and sprinkle as little as you want on food. Good luck all. L.

I am on Lisinopril 10mg I break the tab in half take it morn and night, also I am on Hydrochlorot 12.5mg once a day.
I have been having a cough, dizzyness, tiredness, knee pain and I have no control of wetting myself when I cough. for some time now. I have been on this stuff for a year. I went to the Doctor the 14th of Nov. only to find that my Triglycerides are out of the roof my Cholesterol is up and I have high blood sugar. My blood preasure is good though.
I watch what I eat very closley. I am a bit over weight 60#'s.
I have been on the web for 3 hours now checking out these problems well Hydrochlorot causes the Triglycerides, Cholesttrol and the blood sugar to go up. Then I find this web site stating all the problems that Lisinopril causes I am having some of the same problems as the rest of you.
I am not going to take any more of this poison. I am going to go the natural way. I found on www.rxomega3.com some information about Lowering Triglycerides the stuff is called OMACOR (omega-3-acid ethyl esters) it is FDA approved which means nothing to me. Your Doctor can prescribe it for you.
Thank you for all the information you all have shared about this drug. My husband and I do alot of the natural ways in the first place but I feel I was scared into taking these drugs.
I am just going to put my trust in the Lord from now on he is the doctor and the healer. He healed my Husband of Mastatic Prostate Cancer this year.

I'm on several medications for high blood pressure and heart palpatations due to mitral valve prolapse. I am on Cardizem 240mg, Enapril 20 mg, and now Toprol (1/2) of a 25 mg. a day. (in the morn.) Now I've begun to have temporary hearing loss. My ears will ring and then it's as if I'm in a tunnel for the rest of the day. At night my ears clear up and I can hear normally again. Is anyone else out there having hearing problems?
