Been taking Omeprazole twice a day for the last 5 days. Doctor prescribed this to me after I told him that my Famotadine (pepcid) was not doing the trick anymore with my acid reflux. Last night I seriously thought I was having a heart attack with a pain on the left side of my chest (in between the sternum and collarbone) followed by anxiety of course. I took my morning dose of Omeprazole but after reading this I'm kind of regretting it. I still have slight pain in my chest and also feel a little light headed. I'd like to think that its not cardiovascular considering I run, cycle and strength train at least 3 times a week. I have an appointment with my Doctor this afternoon so I'll keep everyone posted.

I am in total shock!!! I have been at the hospital with my dad for 9 days now and not one person can figure out whats going on. We came in through the ER with extreme pain redness and joint swelling in shoulders, hands, elbows, ankles. Thought it might be gout so they withdrew fluid from ankle that was milk colored, no gout crystals. He started lisinopril 5 weeks ago at 5 mg per day he was on Inderal LA before with no problems. The pain has moved through out his body and he now has generalized pain weakness. He was taking lipitor but has not taken for the last 8 days so I was thinking if it was the lipitor this would have stopped by now. They ruled out any bacterial infection, labs and blood cultures have all been clear. They started checking for off the wall crap viruses like yellow fever, west nile virus, parvo virus and denguey SP? He has not had a fever what so ever and has not been out of the country for 30 years. I am going to make sure he does NOT take this drug starting in the AM does anyone know how long before the side effects take to go away?

I have been taking lamictal for 3 years now and i have just now started getting (or noticing) some of the side effects. Bad cramping with my period and break through bleeding. I feel more clumsy and i have noticed that my vision has gotten more blurry. This could be just me getting older, but i've noticed that it's about an hour and a half after i take my morning dose.

I took macrobid for one day and became tired immediately, headache started halfway through the day and persisted all night long.. woke up with a headache and forgot to take my morning dose. I went to work all day and my headache cleared up halfway through the day and felt much more alert. After work I came home and took my evening dose and if the headache and tiredness comes back Im going to call my doctor.

I have been taking doxycycline for about 5 days now, 100mg 2x per day. I was fine the first couple days, but now I am noticing a bit of nausea within an hour after I take the morning dose. It normally goes away after abour one hour. I also noticed that I am rather cloudy in the head during this time, and I can't seem to form coherent thoughts. Of course I noticed this while in the grocery store trying to shop with a 10 month old. NOT A GOOD TIME!! Anywho, I am stuck with this medication since my first course of Biaxin was a failure. Hopefully it will end soon and the pneumonia will go away. So far I feel no better.

I have been taking 100mg twice a day. The instructions say that it works best on an empty stomach so I have been trying to just take it with water.

I take the morning dose at 5:00 am and get very nauseous about 30 minutes later. The feeling usually lasts about an hour. I have tried eating a banana with my morning dose but it didnt really help. If anything it was worse. Tomorrow I am going to try a full breakfast before I take it even though it says that taking it with food makes it less effective.

I have absolutely no issues with my evening dose.

Started Cipro 3 days ago and had severe abdominal cramps a couple hours after my morning dose yesterday. Didn't associate the two. After a couple of hours the pain subsided.

Later that night, I took my evening dose and within 2 hours the severe pain came back even worse than earlier . I almost went to the emergency room. It was as bad as labor contractions.

Pain lasted about 5 hours. Did not take my dose this morning and no pain (just tenderness from yesterday)

I received Levoquin for a bad sinus /respitory infection. I've taken full doses in the past, but no more. I took one 500mg Levoquin pill and within 1 hour I had a fever, uncontrolled chills, aching legs/feet and swollen hands. After finally falling asleep I woke up feeling better. I at that time didn't associate the two (have taken without side effects in the past). I just thought that I probably came down with some strange 24hr bug. I took my morning dose and wouldn't you know it the whole cycle started again. I haven't had a dose in 24hrs and just started taking Benedryl for some relief. My hands and feet are still swollen, red and painful. It hurts to walk b/c the soles of my feet are so sore and now I have signs of thrush. It is a nightmare. I will never, ever take this medication again!!!!

I took effexor for two years and can report that I experienced the halucinations, the bad dreams, the feeling of no feeling. I felt like my creativity and life had been sucked out of me. If I forgot my morning dose (150 mg) I would be dizzy, nauseous, and have hot flashes. I lost 15 lbs that I didn't need to lose, I was weak and felt like I had had a lobotomy. This drug is absolute evil, and I think everyone should run the other way if a doctor wants to prescribe this. I went off it cold turkey, had two weeks of absolute hell, and only am now really feeling my true self. I have been clean of all drugs, street and otherwise, for two years now, and I am happier than I have ever been. Get high on life!

Each night I took Sustiva and each night I`d lay awake. Then switching to a morning dose. Three hours post dose, now experiencing sensations more akin to taking a certain hallucinogenic drug which is becoming almost unbearable.
