Nauseus symptoms and conditions

I have been on lamictal for about 18 months up to 300 mg. I am going through an incredibley stressful time right now. (foreclosure on the house and bankruptcy). The anxiety is off the charts the lamictal does seem to calm it sometimes. I always know when I have forgotten my pill. I have always been very forgetful and nondetail oriented. I went to the dr. initially to get help with my forgetfullness which was causing me to lose jobs. I believe the lamictal has taken the edge of extreme mood swings and allows me to slow down and say to myself things like "your thoughts are racing, you are now entering a phase of mania, go sit down, take a hot shower, chill out before you do anything you are going to regret."

I do cry a lot but, I always have and I am under incredible stress having to be the sole support of 4 kids and no real job skills.
so I don't know if I can blame the lamictal for the constant crying.

One side effect is I just don't want to be around people. I take that back, I want to desperately be around people, I am just shy of people and will avoid people. I don't go anywhere or do anything other than work. Something I never had before.

My 19 year old daughter also tried lamictal. Her back broke out in terrible acne. But she did get some relief from impulsiveness and mood craziness.

One final comment I lost my pills for a weekend and didn't want to bother my grumpy dr. for more. Nauseus, throwing up, sore muscles, high anxiety, uncontrollable off the charts crying attacks. Finally had to bother the dr on Sunday night, he was really grumpy.

I started getting panic, palpitations, anxiety, bouts of crying, no sex drive, odd taste in my mouth. I only had the taste and lack of libido since early on but felt fine and than whammo the crying and palpitations and anxiety hit. I asked the doctor if it could be the Yasmin even tho id been on it for a while, i got the royal fob off and some lame comment about 'us girls doing funny things sometimes' whatever that means!!!!! It got worst, i couldnt stand to be in the college where id gotten the palpitations to start with so dropped out and i couldnt understand why, but i was cool to still work nearby the college, I had some odd behaviour tho, like i suddenly couldnt park on the ground level for fear of the levels collapsing, i was scared of dying, of freak events, of flying and i LOVED flying, the syptoms waxed and waned and then a few months lather while still having intermittent anxiety a stressful period popped up and that was it i was gone, worst time of my life, allergies, nauseus, paranoia, depression, nightmares, horrific mental images and distressing thoughts, suicidal thoughts. Crux of it was it sucked big time!!!! That was 3 years ago and im still trying to put myself back together! The original syptoms did get better with time but ive never been quite the same.

I went to the doctor and she gave me a prescription for an antibiotic which was $150.00 which I said no way. I went home and phoned her and she said she had samples of a different one in her office I could pick-up. It had no information on the drug and I am on my third day of taking it. It is 750 mg and I am about 118 lbs. My cough is better, but I feel strange. Earlier today, all of a sudden, I felt achy all over like I had a fever again, very tired, and a headache but could not sleep when I came home. I was thinking maybe I am over doing it after just getting over being so sick, but now after reading this I think I know why I feel this way. So far, I have not had any sharp pains in my legs, but am also on meds for pain which make me worry about how Levaquin might interact. My head is in a fog and I just woke up after falling a sleep for about 20 minutes with my heart racing, ears ringing and bad dreams. I can not go back to sleep and found this web-site which I am glad and will not take anymore LEVAQUIN! When I took the first pill it was on an empty stomach and felt nauseus because I had not been eating because of my sickness. I still don't have much of an appetite. I have 2 kids I have to take care of, a house, a hubbby, a part-time serving job and need my strength and SLEEP! I was at work yesterday and found that I could not get my words out right etc. again, I thought it might be from just getting over being sick, but now I know why and will call my doctor first thing Monday and let her know.

I have had the mirena for almost 2 1/2 years, it was not too bad to begin with although I did develop a bartholins cyst which I was told could have been due to this coil being fitted, not very pleasant I can tell you! Anyway, apart from feeling a bit tired and nauseus every 3 months or so it was not too bad for the first year, but since then my symptoms just seem to be there almost all the time. I even tested for pregnancy earlier this week because I feel so nauseus particularly on waking up in the morning, I also feel lethargic, have lower abdominal pain, difficulty concentrating, dizzy spells, constant discharge, very sore breasts, hot flushes at night and cold spells at any time of the day, I could go on. I eat healthily, train at karate 4 times per week, had my blood pressure taken in Asda this week 112/83 which I am told is good. So, I have come to the conclusion that with time this coil is making me feel unwell, I could never take the pill as it made me feel awful and I tried the injection which made me feel even worse. Nothing else for it, I have 4 children already, I can't have any more, it would not be practical or fair to my family, so I am going to be sterilised (if I can get my doctor to agree). I also need to get my doctor to agree to remove this coil, I am not taking no for an answer, I know my body and I am 99.9% sure that it is the Mirena that is causing the problems.

early signs of pregnancy, nausea, mood swings, breast tenderness, back hurting, extreme fatigue. I was told yesterday by my Doc, to take the pill with food, not at 10pm before you go to bed, she sd that's why I'm having bad symptoms, I'll give it another month,

I just started using Nuvaring yesterday. Just 7-8 hours later I started feeling nauseus and extremely tired. I've felt the same way all day today. I've also been dizzy to the point of feeling like I can barely stand up.

I thought I ate something bad or had the stomach flu, but I'm pretty certain it's a reaction to Nuvaring. I've had bad side effects with Yasmin too(intestinal problems, etc.), so my doctor thought Nuvaring might be a better solution.

If this is what is causing my symptoms, it's not worth it. I'm going to stop using it today.

Took 2 Yasmine BC pills and stopped immediately,
after only 2 pills I am still feeling the side effects a few days after,
symptoms including, headaches, soreness behind the eyes,
pain in the legs, nauseus, light stools, emotional, extremme fatique, heart palpitations and for the first time no sex drive,
water retention, sore breasts... Can anyone suggest a better
BC pill???

I just finished my 10 day cycle of sulfameth/trimeth for a sever sinus infection - I have barely been able to eat the whole time - forcing myself to when I started to feel too weak - i love food and it has not appealed to me. I have felt nauseus and like there was a granite slab sitting in thepit of my stomach. I have also been extrmeely moody - just thought that was from lack of eating. Definitely dehydrated. Been getting leg cramps the whole time and one day I couldn't touch the skin on my right calf - i thought I had caused nerve damage from a short jog on the beach, but it was gone the next day. Then, lo and behold, on today, the last day, the nausea is still there, I feel tired and my back is really sore and I am covered head to toe in a really ugly rash. SOund familiar? I was told that there were no side effects to this drug except for dehydration. THis is first first time I have taken antibiotics in 10 years and I am not happy with the decision, but was so desparate.

I've been taking this for 5 days and only today have been feeling very tired, have diahroea, feeling weak, nauseus and noticed I have severe thrush. Should I carry on taking this medicine, I'm really scared.

I have been taking this Welbutrin XL for 2 months. After 4 - 5 days of it, I get nauseus, dizzy and begin dehydration. After being off the medication a couple of days, I feel fine. This last episode, I was in the bed for 4 days napping several times a day and sleeping all night, no appetite, urine became thick and dark. All the while I was forcing fluids, drank Pedialyte to replace electrolytes, and stopped the Welbutrin XL. Didn't whether to go to the ER or try to get to the doctor. Finally gor enough strength to make it to the doctor. Blood tests showed I had come UP to being mildly dehydrated. I'm not taking any more Welbutrin XL.

I don't know whats wrong with me, I think I have a rare problem with this drug. I've been taking it for no time and im sick as hell. I started breakthrough bleeding and feel like im on a horrible period EVERYDAY. I'm sweaty and nauseus. I don't want to stop taking it because I'm deathly afraid of my period coming on worse than the breakthrough bleeding. I am so sick. I feel like im going to die. I have taking other birth control that never did this. I heard from other people that this pill was great, I've never felt like this.

I am taking this medicine for adult acne. I have been on it for over a week now. I take 100mg twice a day, it once in the morning and once in the evening. In the morning it has me running to the bathroom a million times because I feel as though I'm gonna vomit! I feel nauseus and dizzy for pretty much the rest of the day. In the evening however, it makes me so hungry I want to eat everything in sight!! My acne is already improving but the side effects are horrible!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like crap because of this medicine, I was starting to feel as though my body is going crazy!

Only been on yasmin for just over a week. I feel extremely fatigued as if every last bit of energy has been sucked out of me and i'm usually a very active person. Also i've been extremely depressed and moody. My breasts are extremely sore and i feel nauseus. I was put on it to ease my extremely painful stomach cramps but i am already considering getting off before it does any real damage. Dont know which is worse, my painful stomach cramps or the way i'm feeling at the moment. I dont feel right at all.

I was put on Yasmin by my dermatologist to IMPROVE my complexion....get rid of facial hair and acne.
I've been on it 10 days....my skin actually has broken out more. And I FEEL nauseus....like I'm going to puke about five hrs after taking it.
I also have left side chest pains. What's going on?

I started taking 20 mg of Lipitor about six weeks ago. The first few days I felt nauseus but it passed. In the last few weeks I've felt a buzzing in my left foot that comes and goes. Not pain really, but a buzzing. I've also felt some slight spasms in my calf muscles and other odd sensations in my legs. I've decided to stop taking Lipitor. If they're permanent, I can live with these side-effects but don't want any more.

I'm going to control my cholesterol by eliminating foods with trans fats from partially-hydrogenated oils. Basically, I'm avoiding processed foods.

Hello.. I just did a search on Yahoo and I found this website. I have been taking Yasmin for NOT EVEN a WEEK and I'm already feeling like another person. I am very moody, depressed and today I just started crying. I am usually very happy and energized a week or 2 after my period and now I just feel horrible. I have also experienced TROUBLE SLEEPING. I have been NAUSEUS too every day. Not enough to where I throw up, but enough to where it bothers me. I am also experiencing Low sex drive. I am thinking of switching to Alesse, has anyone here taken that? I used to take Ortho Tricyclen for 2 years but it gave me horrible migraines and moodiness along with no sex drive. If anyone has similar problems, please email me, or if u have taken Alesse, any info would really help! I want to stop taking Yasmin after I finish my first pack.. Bluextacie@msn.com

I have been on Yasmin now for about a month and half, and ever since i have been on it, i have gotten major headaches on the right side of my head. I was also on ortho tricycalene which made me very nauseus and dizzy. I can seem to find a pill that works, when my doctor switched me to Yasmin i was very happy because he said that it can make you lose weight and reduce your bloating and PMS before your period..but it has made me worse! Has anyone suffered headaches since they have been on this pill?
