Nausous symptoms and conditions

I was prescribe sulfameth for a bladder infection (I had know syptoms for) and a possible kidney stone. The next morning I notices strange intense pains going down my legs. I didn't think it was the medicine. I was also perscribed Hdrocodone for pain. I still felt bad but thought it was the kidney stone. A few day later I got a pain behind my left ear. Through the night I devolped intense pain in my lower head and my right ear also. The gland in my neck began to swell. My gland continue to ache especially behind my left ear. Two days before I finished my 10 day trial on this medicine I broke out in a rash. First on my neck it didn't bother me to much exept I had been feeling a bit nausous. By the end of the day the rash came out all over my body, arms, legs, back and neck and face. It really started to itch. I took Benadryl. I still feel extremely sick, chills, low grade fever and fatigue. I didn't make the connection to this medicine until the rash. So glad I found this site. It feels good to think I'm not going crazy. Oh Yea, I still have the original pain in my back (the kidney stone) waiting to here from the doc.

i have had 2 injections....and im supposed to have a third next week.....my face is red...swollen...i feel very emotional..irritated...sad...then up and energetic....im nausous..my heart keeps racing..i cant sleep for more then a couple hours without waking up and feeling so fatigued....i cant remember whati was thinking...scattered thoughts...headache.....very drained..weak muscles and im perspiring like i have never before.....im getting the shots for back pain...it has helped the pain but the side effects are feel very toxic................i grateful for the info here as i thought it was just me..........

it really made me feel better to read some of your entries. i've been on yasmin for a long time. i feel like im going crazy. i know i used to be normal. i have crazy mood swings, i'm incredibly irritable, i cry a lot, i'm nasty and don't even know why, i get nausous all the time, my bowel movements are messed up, amongst many others. i stopped taking yasmin a few years ago and was off it for about 3 months. every month, right before my period i would get so sick to the point that i was throwing up and had diarrea every day. now that i see others experience what i do, im getting off this pill for good. thanks for showing me much of my craziness comes from this pill.

I am so relieved to have found this site, I seriously thought that I was really sick or jsut going crazy. I started Yasmin about 3 months ago and my GYN, made it sound like this mirical pill because I had been on over 10 different pills. At first I thought it was but after 2 weeks and got the following symptoms;

1. Nausea, Nausea, Nausea
2. Headaches
3. Cramping in my Hamstrings
4. Never wanted to sleep with my husband
5. Constipation
6. Bloating
7. Gas
8. Diarehea
10. Vomitting
11. Vaginal dryness
12. fatigue
13. ANXIETY and Panick attacks
14. Always thirsty and dehydriated
15. Constantly peeing

On the third month of the pill I started getting really dizzy and passed out at work and was rushed to the ER, where after numerous tests there was nothing wrong. I even had them test my potassium levels...NORMAL. So after being dehydrated from all the vomitting and Diarehea and excessive peeing. My husband and I decided to stop taking Yasmin. It is now day 4. And let me tell all of you that are thinking about quiting do so.

I am no longer nausous, no constipation, or bloating, no longer tired, and I want my husband. YEAH! The only thing that is still there is I am still a little anxious, but no panic attacks yet. I will keep everyone posted as all the side effects wear off.

I started taking Yasmin 2 and a half weeks ago as treatment for PCOS. I tried to find an obgyn who would offer alternative treatment besides birthcontrol, but one does not seem to exist. Ive been om Metformin since July to help with the insulin resistence, but who knows if that even works too. My first week on Yasmin i was nausous all time time, now on the second weel, the nausous seemed to fade away, but my breasts are so sore. Ive always been on the small side, and in a matter of days they have seemed to grow. Other than the bigger breasts and occasional nausea, i havent seen any other effects, but perhaps this is due to the fact that im only 2 1/2 weeks into treatment. Does anyone else have severe PCOS who is taking a different birth control, or has anyone else found a different treatment option? I tried just taking Provera to bring on my periods 10 days prior, but the mood swings were too much to handle and interfered with my life.
Also, has anyone found any alternative treatments, such as minerals or herbs? I'm only 20 and its kindda hard to have doctors take you seriously, even if you have done the research. thanks

when i first was prescribed doxycycline for my moderate acne, i decided not to use it after reading all the side effects that were possible. yet today a month later...my acne has gotten worse..so i decided that tonite i would take the doxycycline. within an hour of taking it, ive vommited twice and my stomach still feels uneasy. im very nausous as well. i dont think ill be continuing this.....even if that means living with my acne.

I have been taking Geodon for 3 weeks now. two capsals of 40mgs every night (80mgs altogether). I am taking it to control hallusinations that is trigered and attatched with me also being BioPolar 1. It used to make me extremly tired, restless, and I would fall dead asleep within 2 hours of taking it. Now I have noticed that it makes me stay awake longer to the point where my body is dead tired but my mind is still runing at 100 miles an hour. Sweating a lot. Last night I spent the night at my friends house and ended up going to the hospital. I thought I was going to choke on my tounge. Literilly I could not put it back in my mouth with the feeling comming back. I was put in minor care unit. I was expirencing masive full body tremours. I was shaking so bad I would make myself nausous. The docotor gave me a shot of some injection and it knocked me out. I am now expirencing chalk mouth, but I am no longer feeling as if I will shallow my tounge. This is a word of advice to any of those who have been expirencing these side effects, the docotor told me to take Benydril and it really works. Try it. I am no longer on Geodon.
