Neg symptoms and conditions

IT IS GOOD TO KNOW I'M NOT ALONE, LIKE ALL OF YOU I THOUGHT I WAS GOING CRAZY AND SO DID EVERYONE AROUND ME. I'VE HAD MY IUC SINCE JUNE 3, 2008 AND I'M GETTING IT REMOVED IN 2 DAYS, AFTER SEEING THIS SITE. I GOT ON THIS SITE LAST NIGHT BECAUSE OF THE SEVERE MOODS SWINGS AND DISCOVERED ALL MY OTHER PROBLEMS THAT I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT WERE EVEN LINKED TO ONE THING LET ALONE MIRENA WERE THE SAME PROBLEMS I READ OVER AND OVER ON THIS SITE PLUS A FEW THAT WEREN'T ON HERE. I'VE BEEN HAVING PAINS IN MY FINGERS, TOES, AND BREASTS LIKE I'M BEING JABBED WITH NEEDLES, JOINT PAIN SO BAD I WOULD FREEZE UP, NAUSEA, FELT LIKE I WAS PREG. TOOK 3 TESTS ALL NEG., HEADACHES, SINUS TROUBLE, NERVOUSNESS SO BAD I FELT LIKE I WAS SHAKING ON THE INSIDE OUT, PELVIC PAIN, BACK PAIN, ITCHY SKIN AND MY SCALP ITCHES SO BAD I'VE HAD MY HUSBAND CHECK ME FOR LICE SEVERAL TIMES, IT'S HARD TO BREATH AT TIMES, HAIR LOSS, PAIN DURING SEX, AND NO DESIRE FOR SEX AT ALL. THE MOOD SWINGS ARE THE WORSE, I WAKE UP P-ED OFF BEFORE I EVEN OPEN MY EYES, I HAVE NO PATIENCE AT ALL, I DON'T CARE TO TALK TO ANYONE, I TREAT MY HUSBAND LIKE I HATE HIM. I HAVE A 17 MONTH OLD AND A 4 MONTH OLD THAT I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO HAVE FOR 15 YRS., 10 YRS. OF NOTHING AND 7 MISCARRIAGES AND EVER SINCE I GOT MARENA I HAVE FOUND IT HARDER AND HARDER TO DEAL WITH THEM. BEFORE I GOT THE IUC MY YOUNGEST ONE CRIED ALMOST 24/7 AND I HAD NO PROBLEM DEALING WITH IT NOW SHE HARDLY EVER CRIES AND I GET FRUSTRATED THE MOMENT SHE STARTS. I HATE FEELING THIS WAY, I FEEL LIKE A TERRIBLE MOTHER, WIFE, DAUGHTER, AND FRIEND. I CAN'T WAITE TO HAVE IT REMOVED.

Has anyone had LATE periods while on wellbutrin? This is my second month with having a late period. I have taken preg. tests all neg., STD all neg., Thyroid all neg.

I AM GOING NUTS HERE! (Not that I want my period...but still..)

OK, now that I have gotten that out of the way-- I am 32 and I have been on Loestrin24 for about 9 months and it seems that every 3rd period I skip. I had a Prego test 2 months ago and it was neg. Now I missed again and I am still freaking out! I get so paranoid! Other then that its OK. I have break through and bloating, but nothing major. I just want to get tubes tied...he he!

I took Levaquin in March of 2004, for a spider bite. I had a 5 day dose pack. After the 2nd pill, I started having nightmares (I usually never remember my dreams), but attributed them to the spider bite. By the time I finished the meds, I had swollen hands, almost fell over when I got out of bed one morning, as I have no sense of balance, was having nighttime chills, along with many other things. Three and 1/2 years later, I have had to make my rings bigger, and my muscle pain still exists. I believe it is getting worse. I have been tested for Lupus, RA, and other autoimmune diseases, all neg. I still have an abnormally low platelet count which stated shortly after the levaquin too. I am thinking of contacting a lawyer, as this drug needs to be taken off of the market.

I read about how YAZ birth control pill affects the body and psych and I am now scared. This is my 2nd day of YAZ (I've never been on birth control pills ever and I am 27 years old), it's all new to me but after reading all these negative posts about Yaz I don't know what to do. Before the birth control pills, I was depressed, annoying, serious weight problems - 210 lbs :~~((, low energy, low libido, always tired, terrible migraines every 2nd day, ridiculously increased appetite and excessive hunger, hair where it shouldn't be, menstrual blood clots, excessive cramping etc
I have all these problems for 3 years now and now that the family doc. put me on YAZ birth control pill I am even more scared - mainly of more weight gain, it would be a tragedy for me, I am fat enough already and what's worse I can't lose the weight, exercise doesn't help, diet doesn't help, NOTHING. Will YAZ birth control pill worsen my already tragic condition? I just don't know what to do and what to believe ... I appreciate any advice or help you can give me ... Thank You to all!

Yaz was the best birth control I have ever tried....I feel like it actually helped with being emotional. The only neg side effect I had was that I was more drowsy; other than that, it was all good things. It's a pill that is worth a try and see how it will work for you. It helped with my acne but I think I need a little more estrogen to clear up my face completely so I am going to Yasmin.

side effects: lost weight, breast grew slightly, acne decreased, felt pretty normal emotionally, lighter and easier periods, not many head aches...overall, a great pill.

I was on Nuvaring for just the 3 weeks and I took it out for the last week to get my period but I never got my period for that week. That week was a week earlier than I normally get my period so I put the ring back in for 3 days and I took it out for good. It's been almost a month since I took it out and still haven't gotten my period. I tood 2 pg tests and both said NEG! I had nausea, sleepiness, my allergies are worst, runny nose, sneezing, stuffy nose. I just haven't been the same. I have acne and my skin is oily. All these side effects and I'm off of the ring. It seemed like every time I put it in, I would catch some kind of cold.

I was on it for about two months and experienced a little of the upset stomach. The worst was the sunburn on my nose, hands, knuckles and tops of my toes. And the tingling sensation on my hands was so weird! My nose and hands have healed, but the tops of my toes are still bad (one month later!!) I'm really scared, but one of my docs say that toes take a really long time to heal because of poor circulation. Anyone have this problem with their toes?? Another doc suspects discoid lupus. yikes!

i have noticed things as well..none you have had!! i get stomach pains occassionally CT scan ultra sound neg..so idk what that is.. i wuz put on yasmin an i have never had blood in my stool until now..i have my period but never had this before...idk what to do..did anyone else notice this??and my period will last 2-3 days after i start the pill..

I haven't had my menstral cycle. I have taken 2 pregnancy test, and both came out neg. Would the medication have anything to do with not having a cycle or have an effect on the test????

First off- i want to say thanks to everyone who has posted their side effects because now i know that its the NR thats been causing all of my symptoms. I've been on the NR for 1month-I have inserted my second NR 3days ago.

One of the side effects I have are headaches. It feels like i have a brick sitting on top of my brain. It gets soooo bad, but I take excedrin and it seems to help. Another side effect is abdominal pain, its not bad at all but i can feel alittle discomfort. Also, I have absolutely NO sex drive and during sex I am extremely dry. This was never an issue(I loved sex) but now I dont even think of it. I have also gained weight and increase appetite. As weird as it is, this is the only part I like. I am very skinny and always wanted to gain weight and this side effect is the only reasdon why i am staying on the NR, until I reach the weight I desire then i will get off. My breasts have gotten bigger-1cup size larger. And lastly, I always feel a discomfort down there. It almost feels like I always have a UTI or something but i have tested neg. for any vaginal infections, but still I feel REALLY irritated down there.

All in all, I would not recommend the nuva ring because I have never felt these symptoms before until i started the NR.

i've been reading ur posts and i also have been on "yaz".. but until now i hadnt encountered any problems...i saw my last real period that started on december 24.. i started my new pack 1 day late n missed a couple of pills during the month but when i was due for my jan period it never showed...i took my placebo pills n when i was due to start my new pack i had this brown discharge...for about 1 day.. i thought i may b preggers so i didnt start my new pack n had unprotected sex with my bf..now im due for my feb period n its nowhere to be seen...i have tender breasts n had some cramping this morn but nothing more..i took a blood tes about 2 wks ago n it was neg...so i was expecting my period...
HAS ANY OF THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE HERE????

After three days or maybe four days of taking Prilosec, my husband started to feel tingling, chaffing type feeling in his inner thighs. By the fifth day he started feeling weekness in his legs, by the seventh day he could not walk without holding on to something and felt very strange driving, as if his legs were not working. On the sixth day of taking Prilosec he was sent to the emergency room by his physician for an emergency overview and possible stat MRI. He was given several tests in ER and admitted that eve. MRI and spinal tap done within next few days, all back neg. He is now in a nursing home for PT, he stopped taking Prilosec on my urging 4 days ago, as of yesterday, his balance started to improve and this am is reporting that he is walking better. Before he had what I would call, stroke symptoms as far as leg goes

Okay I am 22, and I was on yasmin for well over 3 years. I need some help though. I suffer from depression ect... too even with out it.. But yes yasmin did make my problems worse... it got bad... But I took myself off of the pill over a months ago... And I have yet to have my period. Should I go and see a Dr. I took a test to see if I had an oops... but it came out neg.. But I need some help.. Why havent I had my period.... Im freakin out about it so please help me

Hi, I am 25 and had never taken birth control prior to 1 yr. ago when I started Yasmin. I will be honest I was nervous because I am allergic to everything, but my cycle was so long and irregular that I felt I had to do something. I really think this works pretty well with my body chemistry. I gained maybe 4 lbs. over the last year no biggie, but I do occasionally have headaches right after my cycle behind my eyes. The only other thing that is a bit odd is I do get a tingling sporadically in my legs and hands. Before reading your blogs I didn't realize this was a side effect of the pill and would never had put it together. I watch all of those crazy restless leg commercials and I was beginning to think I had that lol. But thanks for your input it helps. I think I will stick with this pill for a while longer my only concern is if it has long term neg. effects when you stop taking it... any thoughts?

My negative side effects occured after I stopped Yasmin. I was on it for one year and felt great until two months after I stopped it. I have been in the er 3 times with heart palpitations(all test normal), elevated blood pressure and heart rate. I also am suffering from extreme anxiety attacks which I never had before. I have been seeing a psychiatrist and tried antianxiety meds(marginal help).
Another side effect was numbess,tingling,burning or heat sensations on the left side of my body(cheek and arm). I saw a neurologist-mri neg. for ms. She said probably anxiety!!!
This has been a horrible 8 months and I hope it resolves soon. All my physcians deny it was the Yasmin but it all falls so into place. I was so despondent until I found this web site and felt I had a concrete reason for my symptoms and that I was not crazy! Take heart and listen to all these ladies. It truly has helped me.

My seven year old son just got out of the hospital after an adverse reaction to omnicef. It started with diarhea that became nonstop until he dehidrated. I stopped the med. on Monday after a stool test was taking that came back neg. for cedif(spelling- bad bacteria overgrowth). By Friday I had him back at Dr. because of nausea and severe stomach cramps. We were told it was probably a virus. By sat. a.m. we were at the ER and they ran the stool test again. This time it came back positive. He was so sick by this time that he spent two nights in the hospital with IV's. The scary thing is the antibiotic caused this and another antibiotic was needed to treat it!

never taken wellbutrin xl 300 mg...my plastic surgeron gave it to me to quit smoking......Just by reading this site and all the side effects are scaring me...and yes i drink,,,Should i even consider trying this.?? or just go by the patch..???

I am 17 years old, and have been dealing with cysts and Endo. since I was the age of 14. I'v had 3 scopes. Two of them to remove cysts (one on ovary and one inside of ovary, which was thought to be cancerous at the time, and was acutally neg.) Third scope, they found Endo. I just got my first shot of Lupron about 4 days ago. Havn't felt any side effects yet, and pray they won't be bad! My doc. put me on a pill to counter react the side effects, has anyone else been put on tha pill? If lupron don't work, what do I go to next? A Histerctomy? Too, scary for my age!

its great, no pain and i have energy for a long time. Of course my opinion is only mine and for others there may be a neg. reaction.

I began taking Omeprazole in late December but switched back to Prilosec due to an increase in GERD systoms. Then my husband picked up my medicine and ordered the generic again. I only order 15 pills at a time. On Jan 12 I experienced dizziness and a fall. Five days later I went to the doctor but EKG, bloodwork and urinalysis were all neg.Still having these spells is anyone else?
