I was on Luvox since it became available in the United States;Over 12 years. I was prescribed Luvox mainly for my OCD and as the years passed, I noticed obvious emotional blunting, lethargy;Mind was in a fog, retarded ejaculation, the works.

Have slowly reduced dosage from 300 Mg/Dy to 100 Mg/Dy with INCREDIBLE RESULTS such as greater energy, weight loss, feeling less "detached" and "cold," SOME anger (harmless & intermittent), lucid thinking-NO change in OCD symptoms whatsoever. Less impotence-All positives.

Will soon begin taking Choline and other B-Vitamin supplements to ease the final stages of withdrawal from this highly addictive drug that thankfully has the shortest half life of the SSRIs.

Turns out that Luvox leaves the brain BEFORE it leaves some of the internal organs it "lingers" in before total clearance from the body.

Plan to deal with my OCD and severe depression with a combination of therapy;A serious attitude change, nutrition, SENSIBLE supplementation and exercise.

Will STAY on my Klonopin (2 1/2 Mg/Dy) because I have a phobic mindset RE: My panic attacks which the Klonopin has kept at bay for the most part.

ALL psychotropics, neuroleptics and other "mind candy" is toxic and usually only MASKS the symptoms, giving the illusion of "treating the symptoms" of a particular disorder (set of).

And for what its worth, I USED to be super-pro medication. Just too many bad side-effects from various medications, including Luvox over most of my life.

Plan on going off of the last 100 Mg of Luvox VERY, VERY SLOWLY;Don't need any "Seretonin rebound syndrome."

Im only 16 years old and ive been on levaquin for about 3 days now. My doctor told me off the bat that the only thing wrong with the drug were some "theories" on cartilidge damage, how ever, now i see for myself, and for many other people that is not the only side effect. He told me that no one under 18 is supposed to have it but i caught a severe case of sinutitus, and a uti which ive had for 2 months and nothing was working, so he put me on levaquin, once a day for 7 days. Ive now been having the following symptoms and im extremely scared!!
1. Constant fatigue
2. Extreme Migraines
3. Nausea, vomiting
4. Rapid heart beat (and chest pain)
5. Stiffness in joints and horrible pain...
6. Constant anxiousness, to where i cant get to sleep
7. Dizziness

Is there anyone i can talk to who's had these same problems? please email me or something im scared and i don't know what to do my mother doesn't believe me and she says its just a head cold....

I was taking Trileptal for mood swings. After hearing a lot of great things about it, I took it for only a few days before I started having Tardive Dyskinesia side effects-- for me, this was a twisting kind of pain in my neck and back. It made it almost impossible for me to sleep. I finally got Cogentin to stop the twisting muscle cramps.

Maybe not everyone will get this type of cramping muscle pain; I get it with some neuroleptics since I took Haldol for years, and it is notorious for causing Tardive Dyskinesia. I don't usually have the TD, only flares up when i take certain meds.
good luck to all, I was hopeful Trileptal would work for me since so many people state it helps them and has few side effects.
I also thought I ate more while taking it. :-(

My dermatologist prescribed this for acne (Im 49 and still had cystic acne due probably to neuroleptics.)

It cleared my skin, after taking for a couple of months. The real surprise, though, was regrowth of hair on my head, which had gotten thinner without mty noticing!?!!

Felt weak while taking Aldactone, and also had a couple of episodes of flu-like symptoms when I took Naproxyn for pain at the same time I was on Aldactone. Can't mix Aldactone with the NSAIDS, which I found out!!!!

I have been relatively side-effect fee from 160 mg geodon for about a year until I increased dosage to 200 mg. At that point I had agitation, akathisia and a panicky feeling. I am taking benydryl until I can talk to doctor. It cound also be from an anti-depressant Cymbalta which i started to take at the same time as the increased geodon. However, with the Geodon I feel it only covers the symptoms of schizophrenia about 80%. I had many more side effects with about a 40 other neuroleptics.

I have been on Zyprexa a few weeks and I take 5 mg before bed. I have to drink a strong cup of coffee in the morning to get going. It has helped get rid of paranoid thoughts and nightmares or at least worry about nightmares. I sleep better. However, I don't get excited about life so much anymore. Life seems less thrilling. It makes my hands shake a little. It kills my sex drive which doesn't matter since I'm single. It seems to make me feel flat emotionally. I am concerned about getting severe side effects like tardive dyskinesia which can happen with all neuroleptics and Zyprexa is a neuroleptic, it is also called a major tranquilizer. That concerns me too because I am a recovered alcoholic and do not want it to help me relapse back onto drugs and alcohol. Mike
