Node symptoms and conditions

I am the mother of a 23 year old who has been on Yasmin for 5 months.
Her dermatologist prescribed it for her without blood tests for acne. She went to a gynecologist who did a blood panel and said her testosterone levels were four times the normal level and agreed with having her put on Yasmin. We as her parents were totally against this decision.

Since she has been on Yasmin she has suffered severe abdominal pain with periods. She had an ultra sound and nothing was found. She then developed an infection in one eye. Very red and itchy. Took steroid cream for that. Then in July came down with strep throat. Antibiotics for that.
Since then she has had 3 bouts of strep. Every time she gets off
antibiotics she comes down with another bout within a week and a half.
She has also had a lynph node in her neck swell up to a huge size you
could easily see. Doctor said it was a byproduct of her strep.

She is now contemplating having her tonsils taken out. I am at my wits
end. I know all this chaos is from this pill and am trying to get her to get
off it. It is so sad and exhausting watching my previously healthy daughter go through this. And she still isn't convinced all this is due to Yasmin.

I have read so much on this pill. The doctor's hand it out like candy. Anyone got any words I might use to convince her to get off this killer?

i was put on tenormin in 1988 for av node block and border line high blood preasure.started off taking 25mg a day .now im taking 50mg two times a day.im tired all the time. my legs hurt.my hands stay cold.but ive heard u cant just stop taking tenormin .ive been taking it 20 years.have seen myself just go down.

My husband has been on and off with remicade for 3 years,he was in a car wreck last week,but not hurt,but the stress from it has flared-up his crohn's. Tonight he is in the bed with headache,fever,swelling of the feet and hands,node's under the skin,he tendon,s have tightened up and he is having problems walking,sitting up and just holding up his head. with crohn's he seem's to get a purple color under the eyes. After a while the remicade just want work,he has more arthritis now than he did before taking the remicade,but without it the fistula in his stomach want close up. after the treatment he does good for about 2 weeks and then he starts having problems with his joints.

Hello Everyone, sorry to here that so many of us have had such a bad reaction to this medication. Well, I'm on day 4 of a 14 day supply of Levaquin. I noticed on day 3 of taking this medication I have notice a painless swollen node behind my left ear and this morning I felt what could be another appearing almost vertically from the first one. I have read through the side affects over and over again, and the pharmacist script never mentioned anything about swollen lymph glands. My question is, has any had a problem with painless swollen lymph nodes if so, where did you find them?
