He raised Tenormin to 50 mg a day, and it made a catastrophy. Severe electrical heart problem. Very debilitating. Permanent chest pain. I acted: I reduced it to a minimal level of 12.5 mg a day.
I have stopped Lipitor 20 mg and replaced it with.

Now, all angina symptoms are gone. No more arythmia.
I have also dropped one aspirin a day, and replaced it with Allicin. (Concentred garlic)
I have learn that aspirin is doing the opposite of the expected effect for 40% of people. It is causing a sever eye pathology, macular degeneration, and stomach bleeding. And after many months it has no beneficial effects, only adverse effects.
Garlic has so many positive side effects.

I have been happy with the pills because they have taken away my migraines! I began on Topamax this May 2007 at 100mg per day until this Aug when I starting to have migraines again and my doc increase my dosage to 150mg a day.However, I think the increase in dosage has caused me to have nose bleeds. I was awakened by nose bleeding on two nights this past week. I see my doctor tomorrow to see if there might be another reason for the nose bleeds. The sleepiness was only a problem in the beginning, until I got use to the pills. The weight loss side effect is one I could use. However I have only lost 1 pound since I have started taking Topamax. Tingling in toes and heels, thirsty, taste change, upset stomach (must take a anti-acid with pill). No hair loss that I have notice. I am a bit depressed and right now don't want to have much to do with hubby. But he has gotten us into some serious trouble with the IRS. Which would cause depression, weight loss, anger, & loss of sex drive all of the things mentioned as Topamax side effects. I'll wait to see if any of these things increase before I stop the Topamax. My son was changed from Adderall to Concerta. He started having a lot of side effects on 18mg. I told the doctor and he doubled the dose to 36mg. In three days, he went totally out of control. In the following 4 days, we had 3 emergency room visits, two hospitals and two ambulance rides. Now I am facing lots of bills and no help from the doctor. My son's side effects were weight loss, loss of appetite, mervousness, fast heartbeat, unusual sadness, irritability, dilated pupils, hallucinations, twitching, temors, throwing up, yelling at me, nose bleeds, behavior changes, and dizziness. He now is off all ADHA medications. Please read what the side effects are and stop the medication if they show up.

My wife has been taking this "devil's drug" Lisinopril for about 3 months. It did lower her blood pressure, but at a price.

A cough begun to materialize so badly that she has to sleep sitting up in the bed with a couch cushion for support. She sleeps a little longer while sitting up but still got enormous coughing fits in the middle of the night, landing her at the toilet, violently throwing up which caused severe nose bleeding. She can't sleep more than an hour at a time. Her energy and stamina is no where near what it was before this drug. She cries and begs for the cough to stop. This drug is taking my wife's sanity and I can't believe they would let this crap find it's way into people's medicine cabinets. She's irritable, tired, and doesn't want to do much because she can't sleep at night. She needs to nap all the time and it's affecting her work and our life. They need to pull this crap off the market.

We did go back to the doc and discovered another drug called Losartan that drops blood pressure with minimal side effects (that we've noticed) and NO COUGH!.
She's been on this new drug for about 2 weeks now and her Lisinopril cough is weakening. It's not as powerful as it once was. The Doc said it would take 2 to 4 weeks for the Lisinopril cough to completely go away! My God what madness! God Please give us something to reduce blood pressure with little to no side effects!

Migraine Use: Fingers were tingling intensely 1st day AM after 1st PM dose of 50mg. Continues, though not every day and has spread to feet. Recently went off nasal sprays for allergies because of light nose bleeding. I've had a cold, too, but nose bleeds ever since starting this med! Wondering if there's a connection. Only other time I had nosebleeds like this, I was pregnant! Gained weight on Lexapro, hoping to lose it on this!
