Now i can see symptoms and conditions

My mother was placed on Reglan for slow digestion due to diabetes. She shot herself to death approx. one month later. She had never, ever, been suicidal and looking back now I can see how her personality changed at the very same time that she started taking the drug. I miss her so much and would give anything to be able to go back and make the connection in time. If anyone would like to ask any questions of me, please feel free.

I went to the clinic with a severe urinary tract infection. I was prescribed 500 mg Levaquin for 5 days and started taking it immediately (if you've ever had a UTI, you will understand!) I woke up on the 3rd day and could not move my fingers - my entire hand ached and was so stiff. It began to progress down to my elbows. I recieved a call later that day from the clinic saying they had prescribed me the wrong drug...a culture proved a different bacteria to be the culprit. Apparently the Levaquin was fighting nothing in my body besides my hand! I thought the pain was from the UTI going untreated for so long, but now I can see it was obviously the Levaquin. I still feel stiffness in my hands every morning, but it goes away and I am able to function. But I find it incredible that taking a prescribed medicine can affect me daily...and this was around 3 months ago that I took it!

I am 34, female, and started taking Singulair since three week ago due to allergies. Since last weekend I have been feeling terrible, with dizziness, nausea, and fatigue. I thought that maybe my sinus infection was not totally gone, but today my husband told me that maybe some of the medication I am taking is making me have those symptoms. He started doing some research online and found lots of information about Singulair side effects.

Now I can see that many people have been having different side effects.
I wish Doctors would be a little bit more informative about side effects symptoms. I won't take any more singulair and hopefully I will start feeling GOOD AGAIN! :o). I wish we wouldn't have to be trying SO MANY TYPES OF DRUGS!

I have been taking Yasmin just for 10 days.I dont have any hunger any more and i am eating almost nothing.Before starting Yasmin,i was so active and was able to work out and the fitness center 2 hours ,and then play tennis for 3 hours,but now i dont even feel like to walk the way to the fitness center for 15 minutes as i am feeling so weak.The worst side effect of yasmin on me is i am having nervous breakdowns,feel like crying most of the time for nothing.So now,i can see that this pills made me turn into a weak and deppressed girl who is even lazy for preparing a sandwich or walking.

This is my first birth control pill,so i cannot compare with the others but i hope there are better pills in this world,otherwise i will not be able to take them again !

Thank you all for your experiences about the side effects of Yasmin. I have been taking the pill for 5 months now and changed from a happy, chilled, enjoying life type of person to the bitch from hell, crying excessively at the drop of a hat for no real reason and constantly loosing the plot and taking everything out of proportion. I have been extremely negative when I have always been positive and now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have previously tried over 10 different types of pill and never been happy with any them due to weight gain, eczema, acne etc but the doctor recommended Yasmin and said that this one had very limited side effects. How wrong was he?? I was totally stressed all the time, gave my boyfriend a hard time about everything/anything/nothing was short with my work colleagues and distanced myself from my friends. Reading all of your stories has really changed everything. I thought it was me and it isn't. My boyfriend read your experiences and understood why I cried so much with relief when I read them and he understood what has been happening the last few months. Today I have taken my last pill. I was considering trying another but I would like to be myself rather than pump hormones into my body and never quite know if it was really me or the pill. Now I shall investigate alternatives more seriously and look after No. 1.

HAIR LOSS - that's an understatement. Mine has been coming out in handfuls. I've always had thick, wavy, long hair and now I can see my scalp like an old lady - I'm only 35 ! I had no idea what was wrong. Stay away from this stuff unless you want to look like a billards ball ! Even at $100+ a bottle, mine's in the trash. There should be a warning on this !

I started Yasmin about 12 days ago and I have experienced the same anxiety side effects listed here. I thought it was perhaps just jet lag from a recent trip, but now I can see it has to be the pills. Also, someone mentioned a crampy ( not numb or weak) feeling in their arm, and I started to feel that today too in just my left arm, and I will be visiting my doctor very soon. I am going to stop taking these immediately, and from what you've posted it's probably the best idea. I was always paranoid about it, but my gyno wasn't very helpful.
