Been on Lisinopril for over a year; does anyone know if 40mg per
day is considered a high dose? Seems to have helped the BP; I have'nt had the cough, but occasionaly get funny feeling on left side of chest and L. arm. Not exactly pain, but more a dull ache that passes after a minute or so. Sometimes feel fatigued afterwards. Has anyone else had something like this?

I was diagnosed with rhuematoid Arthritis in 1986 so I've had it for 19 years, I was 27 years old at that time and I am currently taking methotrexate & Humira injections, but occasionaly I have a flare up and need to be on prednisone, But this time after coming off of it the side effects were horrible, My right leg feels so stiff and the knee is all swollen and both thighs hurt just to touch them, also my arms feel like I just worked out for the first time in my life, I got sores in my mouth and once they were gone the top of my mouth feels like I burnt it. It's smooth and hurts to brush my teeth, I don't know what is going on, I have never had symptoms like this before and In 19 years I have been on and off prednisone a dozen times but have never been in this much pain after coming off of it! Has anyone else had any of these symptoms before???? I am also very fatiged I feel like I have fibroymialga.

I am a 20 year old male, 150 pounds, and I've been taking Zoloft for about 8 months now. First I started with 50mg daily for anxiety/depression. It helped a little, but I was boosted up to 100mg daily after about a month or two.
My anxiety problems quickly diminished, but I was having crazy mood swings. Happy one moment, depressed the next. Now I get those crazy head zaps and fogginess almost every day I take it. Side effects also include churning/unsettled stomach, disconnected feeling, "pins and needles" every time I move my head (like coming down from acid), zombi effects, jaw tension, restlessness, lack of motivation, severe headaches, grinding teeth, and vivid dreams (not a bad thing). It hasn't effected me sexually though. Haven't had any real problems with weight gain either.
I highly recommend smoking marijuana occasionaly to reduce side effects. Although pot isn't recommended by others, I find that it really helps to even you out while on this medication. It quickly and effectivly relieves jaw tension, restlessnesss, headaches, unsettled stomach, and that crazy-ass fog headzap thing. That is the worst part of Zoloft for me. I can deal with all the other small side effects, but when it feels like you are a zombie coming down from acid, you just wanna punch the doctor who prescribed it to you.
Perhaps I'm taking too much, or not enough. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow, so I'll see what he has to say.
I'm glad that the drug helps with my anxiety, but I'm not really sure if all the side effects are worth it.
If you haven't experienced the zombie thing yet, just stop taking Zoloft for a day or two and you'll know what I'm talking about. DON'T MISS A DOSE OR YOU'LL START CRAVING BRAINS! BRRRAAAIIINNNSS!!!!

Generic for Zocor. In Nov. blood which was drawn as a pre-op surgery for another health problem was drawn and showed high cholesterol levels. I was put on meds right away. Was not given the option to try diet alone. Not knowing (and still learning) #'s, I felt the Dr. knew what was best for me. I too experience the waking, weird dreams, nausea or bloating and pains in thighs, upper back, collar bone, hips (inside and outside) until I sometimes can barely stand or walk. Have actually attempted walking in 'bent forward' position to cross the room occasionaly as the pain and difficulty of standing errect would not subside until I have reach the other side of room anyway.
There are 3 doctors in the office I go to. As if I don't hear it enough from my family members, one of the Drs.indicates it is because I am OLD that I have some conditions. But the main Dr. has showed concerns that I am on the medication. But he always blames my pains on ARTHRITIS. They are the skilled ones.......I am the one in pain ....but the #'s are going down.
I am afraid to eat most things as I also have FATTY LIVER.
