One arm symptoms and conditions

today is my first day on Singulair. I didn't get as much sleep as usual last night as I had an early Dr. appointment this morning. My asthmas has been acting up and I thought it might be allergies so my Dr. gave me some samples of Singulair. Thinking that there is no time like the present, I took my first pill in the car driving from my appointment. I have been fighting sleep all day at work and it just occured to me that it might be the medicine. I have pins and needles in one arm and didn't think of the connection until looking at possible side effects of this drug. I might be foolish, but I will try it again tomorrow to see if it persists. My 52 year old wife had a painful capsulitis in one arm that just did not get better. In the absence of her regular doctor, we went to a walk-in clinic for help for the unrelenting pain. She was given two injections of Kenelog withing 14 days of each other. The pain in the arm started to recede but a few days after the second shot, we had to admit her into a hospital emergency department for severe heart palpitations, extreme weakness in her legs, tingling and numbness in her hands and fainting. She was stabilized over six hours, blood tests were done and an electrocardiogram was done. She was negative in all the tests. It is now almost eight weeks later and she continues to experience palpitations irregularly and continuing fatigue that forces her to lie down at work and curtails her usual activities. None of this had ever happened to her before the second Kenelog shot. Her doctor has now had her screened for liver and kidney inflamation and she will have an echocardiogram in ten days. She has also seen a hematologist for interpretation of the blood tests. She is anxious and depressed by all this and feels frightened about the severe fatigue that keeps on hitting her. She'll never let herself have another Kenelog shot as long as she lives!!!

Took Lipitor 40 for 4 months, had immediate muscle pains in one arm. So my doctor took me off it.

HOWEVER, I took the highest dose of Pravachol (80 mg) for at least 5 years with NO side effects.

Only changed because my insurance compaing insisted due to new cost increases in Pravachol.

So, the ---- with the insurance company, back to Pravachol.

I'm glad I found this site. I thought I would be in pain forever and like Teri thought I had developed rheumatoid arthritis. I have such terrible pain in my one arm that I thought at first I had broken it. The doctor sent me for x-rays of my shoulder and arm. Nothing found. The pain got worse and traveled to my other arm and then my knees. I can hardly walk and wonder how I am going to go to work tomorrow. I hope you are wrong Teri when you say that it takes a long time for Levaquin to get out of your body. I don't know how long I can take this pain which keeps me awake at night because my arms are so painful. Does anyone know of a way to make it go away quicker?
