I am only 42 years old and have been on zocor for the past 30 months. I've had mild tingling in my feet and achy joints along with slightly elevated liver enzymes and fatigue since then. Ever since my doctor increased the zocor to 80 mg per day ( because although my cholesterol level is normal, my triglycerides are still very high) , I feel like I am 100 years old! All my joints ache so bad and my feet and hands alternately tingle or feel very cold! I am also having trouble focusing when I look from something close up to something far away! I am also clumsier and more forgetful. Could these symptoms be caused by coenzyme-Q deficiency?

My Daughter has been ill since Feb 4, 2008. Here are her symptoms. Rash on head neck and chest, low grade fever, almost daily vomitting, nauseau, low grade fever, kidney issues, severe abdominal and lower back pain. All tests have been negative, hospitalized twice.
I sent just a local email out to a few contacts talking about the symptoms, girls in our community Papillion, NE are suffering from similar side effects. How can we stop this from hurting other children?

After prolonged use, my spouse seemed to loose all feelings and emotions. It was as if he didn't care about anything. Has anybody else had this happen?

I took kenalog to help with my severe allergies. At the time I was trying to get pregnant and I was told that there would be no side effects. They were wrong!! I have a bright purple indent in my butt the size of a quarter that has been there over a year. That is not even what bothers me. Two months after getting the shot I got pregnant and while pregnant my allergies came back and my doctor said getting the shot while pregnant would be fine. Fortunantly I looked at this website first and read all of the bleeding problems and did not get it. And even still while giving birth I had a substatial amount of bleeding for no reason. The only thing that would have caused this was the first shot there was nothing else in my system except for a prenantal vitamin. I have never bleed like this before! I could not imagine what would have happened if I had got the second shot while pregnant. So in my opion I would think twice before getting it.

Been taking Zolft now for 3 month. I was on xanax for years. In my opion the xanax was much better.
The side effects on Zoloft that I experience are : lack of sleep, vivid weird dreams, joint pain. The first 3 days while still taking 25mg I was at work and felt like someone had put a flame thrower to my head , I felt like I was sweating profusely but was really dry. I still take 50mg but at night time before I goto bed this solved the problem of feeling bad at work.
This drug however is a sex drive killer !! But read the reactions on the other med's you take and they are very much alike..
Good luck to all taking this med it affects everyones chenistry differently.

I have had Mirena for 18 months now. I love it. I have had no side effects that you all are describing. I have 4 friends that switched and all love it and only one had to have a follow up to have the strings shortened.
As far as the weight gain, ladies, let’s be honest. We are not 18 anymore and as we get older it is only going to become more difficult to keep weight off. Blaming it on a B/C....lets think about that last chocolate bar we ate because we were busy carting the kids off to a sports practice HMMM....
With any drug comes side effects, headaches, nausea, and some other terribly worse, but lets again be honest, all of these were pointed out in the literature available.
I just thought I would take the time to write my support as this does work and work well for some women, just not all, same as any other form of B/C.
