Pain pill symptoms and conditions

I am 22 years old and I have two kids I have had the mirena for a year and a couple days before my period comes on I have really bad cramps and my right leg it is so bad I have to take four pain pill to make the pain go away I want to get it taking out but how long does it take u to get pregnant I don't need anymore I all so be tired and don't feel like having sex and I also have discharge and heave bleeding will it ever stop

I am SUPER glad that I've stumbled upon this site!! I just got my Mirena in today and let me tell you, it cramps like crazy!! I don't like the fact that I feel sick and bloated.. I feel like I just want to lie down and take a pain pill and not get back up for a week! (Not to mention that I had an interview after I got the darn thing in! ) They said it wasn't supposed to be so bad because my uterus was still in that post pregnancy state. ( My son is 2 months now! ) But I beg to differ.. I am not too sure on the rest of the things though.. If I see displease I think I will definitely consider taking it out because I am not one for constant problems and pains.. When my OBGYN put it in, she said it was kind of low, but it wasn't fixed right then and there.. (I don't really feel too hot about that..) But I am due for a check up in two weeks with ultrasound.. I think if they've got to take it out and try again, I'm going to just say - forget it!

ok I am 35 and just took my Pravastatin 20 mg. aka pravachol for the first time ever. This question is going to sound crazy because no one seems to ever have these symptoms so far that i have read. I took my pill and 39 minutes later i felt high like a marijuana high or a pain pill type of affect. i feel the pain in my muscles but it almost feels like a muscle relaxer to me I seem to be having opposite affects of this drug. Has ANYONE had this experience please please let me know.

I was prescribed 7 Levaquin (3- 750mg and 4- 500mg) on Friday December 12th 2008 for an ear infection. I was to take the 3- 750mg ones for the next 3 days and then start on the last 4- 500mg. The next evening Saturday, I started to get sharp pains in my left calf. I thought it was a charley horse and started limping around with pain. During the night I felt as if I was lying on golf balls and could not get comfortable.

The next morning the pain in the calf included soreness in the left hip area. I took an over-the-counter pain pill and went on my business. I also took the second 750mg Levaquin Saturday morning. Later that afternoon my right calf starting hurting with sharp pain as I walked around the house. This was really weird. The pain was exactly in the same area as the left side.

On Sunday morning (December 14th 2008) I took the 3rd 750mg Levaquin. That evening I started to put two and two together and had some thoughts the medication (Levaquin) was causing these side effects. I told my wife that I was going call my doctor on Monday (December 15th 2008) and let him know how much pain I was in. At this time I could hardly walk. I was walking with much pain and felt like I was walking like the Apes in the movie called “Planet of the Apes”.

I was now on the 500mg Levaquin. I took this pill Monday as scheduled. I called my doctors office Monday morning and talked to the lady that answered his phone. I explained my condition. She had me describe my symptoms twice. She told me she would give my message to my doctor. I did not receive a return that same day.

Tuesday morning I took the next 500mg Levaquin as scheduled required. Later that day I received a call from a lady at my doctor’s office. She told me that the doctor was going to phone in an additional prescription and where did I want it phoned to. I asked her what the doctor said about the additional 2- 500mg Levaquin pills I had left. Did he want me to stop taking them? She told me he didn’t say and he made no comment on my side effects.

My wife called the Pharmacist later Tuesday afternoon and the prescription was not there or not ready.

Wednesday morning I took the 2nd to last 500mg Levaquin dose as scheduled. Later that morning my wife called the Pharmacist and my new prescription was ready. We went and picked up the new medication that afternoon.

At this time I only had one more dose of the 500mg Levaquin and seeing-how the doctor didn’t tell me to stop taking the remaining last couple of pills I took it on Thursday morning to finish out the prescription.

I’ve been off Levaquin for about 3 days now. It’s now Sunday December 20, 2008 and many of my joints and muscles are in distress. I walk with much pain. I can hardly life my arm above my shoulders. Even my hands hurt when I try to make a fist. I hope this drug starts to wear off soon.

Along with my other medical problems, I have been starting to have thoughts of how unimportant I am. How I could become a burden to my family. My depression has gotten worse and thoughts of suicide have flashed into my mind. Those thoughts give me chills because I love my wife and know how much that would hurt her. I love life but I don’t want to get to the point that I can’t take care of myself. God must give me the courage to do what I have to do. I don’t know why I’m writing down the above information. This is so personal. This can’t be happing to me. It just doesn’t seem possible. I feel the pain in each of my joints in my hands as I type. It is as though I was not myself. I look at my hands and it seems as if I was in someone else’s body. I’m sure this is side effects of the Levaquin and should subside soon. Merry Christmas Everyone.

I have had the Mirena since September 22, 2008. Getting it inserted was easy and great. I took a pain pill an hour before having it inserted and there was hardly any pain. I cramped slightly for about a week and spotted in between then and now. My cycle came at its normal due date but it has not gone away. This is the second week. It is much lighter now but it has turned brown and has a very strong odor. The odor is so embarrassing I don't know what it is. I am also experiencing a lot of hair shedding. I have beautiful long hair and I am afraid that I am about to lose it. I have read where others have experienced severe hair loss. I have also started crying a lot lately too. I go to the doctor tomorrow and after reading everyone's comments I am having this thing removed. So much for birth control!! I guess I will go back to the pill.

I was given Levaquin 750 1 pill a day for 7 days, this was on Wednesday for bronchitis. The first 2 days no effects, except for my joints started to hurt, especially in my ankles. Then on Thursday eve, the pain was so severe, I had
to take a muscle relaxer and pain pill. THis helped for awhile, then Friday morn early pain was so severe, I could not hardly move in my joints. Friday morn I took my pill and about 20 minutes later, I started vomiting, projectile, for about 20 minutes nonstop. I thought I was going to pass out. This finally stopped. I did not take no more meds til Saturday eve, 1/2 pill. I got so stff and severe pain, I could not get out to barn for chores. I have taken no more, and today is Monday, my joints hurt, especially my ankles, hard to walk. I have a lump on back of right knee. This medicine is bad. I have had severe headache, joint pain, nausea, and left me feeling quite depressed. Called doctor, but he didn't seem to concerned.

I'm 21years old. i took Yasmin for a year because i have PCOS. but had to get off of it because i could no longer afford Yasmin. i have been off of Yasmin for a year. i always thought that the problems i was having was due to PCOS. i was reading the side effects the other girls had with Yasmin. and its sounds just like the problems i have had. i had pain on the right side of my head it lasted for about 2 weeks. i wonder what it was but didn't think much about until now. about a week ago i woke up and my neck was hurting so bad i could not move it i took a pain pill and it did help a little. i thought it was the way i slept that night but its still hurting not as bad. i started losing my hair on head my 3 week on Yasmin , and started growing more chest hair ,neck, chin, lip hair on the 4 week, pain in my chest sometimes and pain in my arms and legs and almost like move met like someones kicking inside of my stomach but i not with child done had i test ran i feel very mad all the time anything upset me i get really pissy at time and its been like that since my 1 weeks on Yasmin has anyone else had any this happen to them

I had my Mirena put in on October 26 of 2007 and it hurt bad. I started bleeding as soon as it was put it and had to take a pain pill when I got home the pain was so bad. I couldn't hardly walk for the next 3 days. I have been cramping since I had it put in but the bleeding did stop for a bit. Now I have bleeding for the past 2 weeks off and on. Sometimes its heavy to wear a pad or tampon and then it will stop all the sudden. I have cramps like I am going to start my period all the time. My right ovary hurts me really bad to where I can't walk. I called my doctor and the nurse pretty much told that I didn't need to be seen that my doctor will look at my chart but that I shouldn't need to come in. I am thinking about going to an Immediate care center because I have 2 kids and I can't stay like this. Oh and the mood swings are crazy I get pissed for no reason or I am just mean and its not me at all. Oh and my periods before this were just maybe a day or 2 and cramping before it. I am not used to this at all.

I went to the doctor for female infection bladder kidney don't really know but the side effects was not a joke weak /tired/ sick to my stomach / chills /shaking I could not stand up I took this medicine 1 day and called my doctor she said she has never heard of this drug reacting to others.now I 'm having senvere cramps and she also gave me a pain pill I took it the same time it was hydrocodozone I didn't od I didn't know what was happening I will never take this pill again it should not be out there.

I'm 57 and started taking Zocor 20mg 1 month ago. Within one week I was experiencing severe pains in my upper arm muscles so that I couldn't even sleep on either side or raise my arms to wash my face. The pains are sometime on one side then the other, then both. It also moves to my shoulders on both sides. I began suspecting the pain was a side effect of the medication. It also made my heart feel funny at times. I stopped taking the meds 5 days ago and still need to take a pain pill to sleep. I'm calling my dr tomorrow after reading all of this!!! I'm praying the pain with soon go away!

Took it one week , was taking a nap n woke up with my knees hurting me. Got up thinking poping em would help. Wronge, this was a 12 noon. By 5pm i was in sever pain n crying n screaming . The pain was from both knees down to my feet. WORSE THAN LABOR PAINS NON STOP!! I ended up at the hospial n had a shoot that was to help me . It did for only an hour n a half. Was in pain rest if the night n by the way no i could not walk. I waited till my dr office was opened n was wheeled in grom the back n he done all kinds of test on me u could ever think. In the mean time im crying n moaning bad n beggig GIVE ME A SHOT TO KNOCK ME OUT PLEASE!!!!! He sent me home on pain pills to take ever 4 hrs until it ran it course.I now am walking very slow n weak in my legs but its only been 3 days now n im up to taking a pain pill ever 6-8 hrs now n I also lost my job, from being off work and im a single parent.
Last year i had brontchis. Doctor gave me steriod shot n it kelpt me up for 3 days . I was scared people said thats the way people are on drugs. I just knew i was scared to death n i even to the hospital n they gave me a very stronge sleeing pill that would knock me out . Then went to my doctor next day n was digonased with insomea.

I just started taking ultrecet. I have been on lortabs & I am trying to save them. So far I have experienced nasuea & sleeplessness. None of the euphoria yet. I thought it was just a simple pain pill. I had no idea there was so many side effects. Funny how they don't tell you about all that. One thing that really irritates me is when the dr. gives you something like lortab or ultracet & you do get addicted they blame the patient & not themselves. Without there help you wouldn't be able to get the medication. Thank all you for your comments. It will make me think again about this medication.
