Pains in arms symptoms and conditions

Everyone should check these web sites to keep themselves sane. I've asked my Doctor about numbness in my arms and hands. I was told that there is no way for it to be from Zocor. The burning pain brought me to tears. I've been on this medication for 8 months and I'm removing myself from this medication. I will advise if and when there is improvement.

Took the medication for 1 month. Have never felt the same since I stopped it. Sharp pulsating pains in arms and hands. Joint pain. Blood pressure problem, anxiety problem, swollen glands (anyone else?), headaches, pains in legs.

Maybe coincidence..maybe not. Scares the hell outta me. Im a 35 year old male. Took it to control not so serious asthma.

Anyone else feel the same?

I've been taking low dosage of Lipitor for over 4 years. No noticable side effects until past 2-3 months. I've had severe muscle pains in arms and shoulder. I've stopped taking Lipitor and have improved greatly, although still some lingering pain in both arms.

I"m searching alternatives to statins and don't think I'll return to Lipitor. I do have type 2 dibeates and do need to monitor this. I've heard that COQ10 is essential if on statin.
