Particulary symptoms and conditions

I was taking Danazol for 20years in alow dose for pressitant breast pain. I gradually began to suffer from muscle pains for no apparent reason. My doctor immediately stopped the Danazol, although wouldn't admit they were causing the problem. I ''fell apart at the seams''. None of my muscles worked properly, I had extremely high blood pressure, could barely walk, I was in constant pain and had to have massage for 2 hours per day. My eyes ached, I couldn't control my bladder and bowels very well. I thought I was going to die. My doctor sent me for numerous blood tests, endoscopes etc. But said I was depressed. I was depressed, because I felt so ill !
Its now 4 years since I stopped Danazol and I feel it has caused long term damage to my muscles. I have tried everything from massage to supplements. Things have improved a great deal, but I find it difficult to exercise as I tire very easily and particularly my back muscles seize up even after sitting for any length of time.

Has anyone else been on a low dose of Danazol for this length time. Have you suffered?

If you are a woman or have a daughter PLEASE READ.......

Please be very careful before getting a Kenalog injection especially if you are a woman or for your daughter. In March my 13 year old daughter received one Kenalog injection for hay fever. Now almost 4 MONTHS later it is a 2 inch indentation with dark bruising all around it. She has also had her period the entire time with maybe a 1-2 day break between them. It has taken this long for the doctors to say the bleeding is from the Kenalog injection. I never would have allowed them to give this to her if I had known of these side effects. She has been put through test after test and no end in site. Now my 13 year old will have to go on birth control to stop the bleeding and there will prob. be side effects from that as well. I was shocked to find this site and now how many lives this drug is hurting. Now my daughter is suffering, all from 1 SHOT.

I have just recently started taking Lamictal for my epilepsy. I am weaning off the drug phenytek. I am on 100 mg a day of Lamcital and next week that will increase to 200mg a day. Since I have started the Lamictal, my period has come two weeks early, I feel tired all the time and I feel dopey. I will be sitting in a room of people and they are all talking, but it's as if I am not actually present with them. I am nauseous alot and have terrible headaches particulary in the evening. My emotions seem to be eradic. I just don't feel myself.

I just recently came off Advair after 5 years of side effects, boy was I brainwashed! And a/o I am now taking Asmanex (corticosteroid) I began having withdrawal but I believe to the Serevent.
Until I read some posts here, I began to question what was going on with me. I thought at first it was withdrawal from Advair particulary the Serevent. But I just couldn't believe something we inhale could do that. But this inhaled drug did cause me and many others systemic effects.
The first couple of weeks off the Advair my anxiety was worse than when I was off the drug. Who thought that was possible.
And the most alarming withdrawal symptom was the tingling in my hands and feet.

I am 29 and recently developed asthma like symptoms - wheezing and tight chest- 2 months after i quit smoking, and my doc put me on this. I am on my 3rd 250 mg discus of Advair (not including the 2 week sample discus) and have a couple of the side effects as described in other entries - a lot of acne on my forehead and cheeks, sides of my face... very rash like. I haven't had acne since i was 15. Also, none of my pants fit me in the waist, but they do in the thighs and butt - i also FEEL extremely bloated. Finally, i also have aching joints, particulary back, and have started stretching religiously, but still ache a ton. My sense of smell is just recently totally messed up - smells other ppl love i am grossed out by!! 2 weeks ago i started excercising daily and eating NO sweets and no junk, and my acne is not so greasy but just a steady bumpy surface to my facial skin.
