Period tomorrow symptoms and conditions

I was put on Loestrin 24 FE because I was bleeding for over a month. The doctor did a D&C and I bled for another week. I was going to go on a progesterone cream but couldn't find one, so when I went back to the dr a week later we decided to try this pill. The nurse told me 99% of the women who go on it love it because they don't get a period or they only have a slight one. Needless to say, I was excited. I took the pill and within 12 hours I stopped bleeding and my emotions were stabilized. After 2-1/2 weeks on the pill, I started to spot then had a light flow until I started the brown pills on Sunday and got a real period. Tomorrow I start the 2nd pack but I am going to see if this bleeding stops by Friday and if not I am going to make an appt with my gyn to discuss a change of plan. I know it takes time for your body to adjust to a new pill, and my body is going through pre-menopause, but if I am put on a pill to stop the bleeding and I continue to bleed, that tells me the pill is not working for me. I have had headaches and tiredness this month, but my energy seems to be returning and the headaches aren't that much of a bother....yet. On the good side, my emotions are still stabilized and I am not snapping anyone's head off as I was for the past 8 months. That has been a plus with this pill.

Okay after reading everyone's posts, I want to cry ha ha. I have just completed my first month of Loestrin24fe- I still haven't gotten my period- tomorrow will be a week. I feel like I have the symptoms- it's just not there. I expected this to happen since my body is confused with the change, however now I am nervous that I will not get it at all this cycle and it will just skip to the next. I was previously on Ortho Tri -cyclen Lo. I was nauseous a lot, the occasional migraine, my sex drive was not great, and I had some mood swing/depression problems. I went on Lexapro for that- decided to drop it since I became nauseous with that almost an hour after I took it each time and my sex drive became even worse. Doing that I thought my symptoms would go away. I still had nausea, still no sex drive, developed weird skin patch ( dermatologist said it was eczema, but very suspicious that it all happened around same time). Since my symptoms still existed I thought it was my birth control pill. That's why I switched to Loestrin....I'm still emotional, esp near my period, but I'm a girl, I expect that. What I am worried about, and from what I have read through these posts- is that the side effects you each describe are pretty much daily side effects for me and I might not catch it as something that I should be worried about. Is it also true also that this pill makes you gain more than others? On my previous pill, I didn't gain weight and I don't plan on exercising bc of this one. I know pills affect everyone differently, and I wonder if i go on another message board for another pill I will see the same responses.....I just want to hear from someone with a positive take on this pill. Telling me that you are fine, you just have to exercise and not drink, have no sex drive and deal with not getting your period sometimes, does not make me feel better.

Also, the past two times I have drank alcohol on this pill, I became extremely nauseous the next day. Normally this would be contributed to a hangover- but I didn't drink the amount that would cause one, compared to my past drinking experiences. The nausea sometimes results in vomit, otherwise it just lasts all day. I was wondering if anyone had this happen to them while they drank on the pill.

Hi Everyone it's Hill, here is my weekly update. It's has been officially one month post Yasmin He*l. I have had 2 or 3 pretty good days in a row. Very very slight numbing and tingling, but I mean slight. I felt really good today, however, I'm starting to feel bit week and groggy. I'm assuming this is b/c when on Yasmin I would normally be starting my period tomorrow like clock work. I'm not sure if it is actually going to come or not. So I'm just writing it off as that time of the month. Did most of you experience a timely menstral cycle, or was it delayed?

I was also wondering if anyone has felt completely starving after stopping Yasmin. I am trying to lose the weight I gained while on Yasmin, however I am always hungry. I can eat a full dinner, not like huge pasta dish, but fish, vegetable and piece of breat and not be satisfied. I'll want something else. It's like this constant empty stomach feeling. Has anyone else experience this.
