I was prescribed Lisinopril for pre-hypertension at 10 mg a day. I've only taken it for 2 days and have felt so sluggish and tired but revved up on the inside at the same time. Had a headache too last night and blurry vision. It does work in lowering the BP though. Last night I felt as if I couldn't take deep breaths to relax myself and then I started having shaking chills and tingling in the hands and feet. Thought I was having a panic attack so I took my clonazepam. Then I felt like I'd have to throw up or go to the bathroom to get relief. The clonazepam kicked in after about an hour and knocked me out, but I still woke up a few hours later still feeling extremely anxious even though the clonazepam was still in my system (I take it twice a day for panic attacks) along with Lexapro for depression/generalized anxiety. I'm refusing to take any more of this drug. I will lose weight and exercise and eat healthy just to avoid this drug.

Levaquin IV in hospital for 2 days, then one 500mg tablet per day for a month. Semi hallucinations in hospital may have been due to infection but diarrhea for 2 months was not. About three weeks into the medication it started affecting my heart beat--arhythmia and increased rate--causing considerable distress and malaise; I presumed that my heart was permanently damaged. It may well be so, but now three months out the symptoms have lessened and I'm begining to feel like my old self. I hope never to have to risk my health on Levaquin again.

The first time I used Lupron was about 6 years ago for 8 LONG months. The hot flashes and mood swings were rough at first, but became unbearable towards the end. That, however, was the easy part. I experienced severe depression, and weight gain of about 40 pounds. It did help the endo pain like I could not believe, though.
After about 3 years, I had to go back on it, and at this time, I was engaged to my current husband. I had to warn him that I would be a psycho like he had never seen. It was even worse the 2nd time around. The joint and bone pain was/is unbearable. It has been three years since my last injection, and I still have osteoporosis, severe migraines, joint pain, and have gained a total of 80 POUNDS!!! I work out, eat right, but nothing will take this weight off. My thyroid has been permanently damaged. I am only 31 years old, and I have to make sure I don't fall or bump into anything because my bones could break!
Please, do your research. It DOES work for the endo, no question about that. I feel like a new woman in that area, but I feel like I'm 80 in every other way.

I was given Levaquin for a coinfection that can come with Lymne Disease. My doctor told me one of the side affects could involve pain in the Achilles Tendon. He said if I felt such pain, to stop the pills immediately. On the morning of the 8th day of taking the pills, the lower left heel had pain as I stepped out of bed. The next morning, both heels plus the Achilles Tendon on the right foot hurt. I did not take any more pills. I experienced pain and swelling in my feet, stayed in bed for 3 days, per nurses orders, as doctor could not be reached. I soaked my feet in warm to hot water for 20 mins with apple cider vinegar and then another 20 mins with Espsome Salts every morning before I left for work to ease the pain. Three weeks have passed. Both feet, shins and calves ache with occasional sharp pains throughtout the day, and always at night. My right knee has an muscle that is swollen and aches. Wearing sandels, bending, and walking or standing for lengths of time agravate the pain. I sometimes find my self whimpering at night when I get into bed because of the pain in my lower leg. Often have to get up and soak, my feet for comfort so I can get to sleep. My fear is that my muscles have been permanently damaged. I am researching what I can do to help myself.

I started out exhausted and dizzy as I was upping the dose for the first 3 weeks and then magically all of my pain was gone! I have chronic back pain due to L5/S1 disc removal, bulging discs and degenerative disc disease. Everything was great until I got my period and it started for 1 day and stopped w/mild spotting (that is not normal) the Dr. suggested I was pregnant when I KNEW that I wasn't. After the 4th week on the medication my hair started falling out. 1st more strands than normal and now by the handful! It is obviously thinning. Has anyone experienced this? Is the follicle permanently damaged by the chemicals? I've since weaned myself off the medicine and am in complete pain again. This seems to be one of the rarer side effects of this medication. Has anyone experienced this?
