hi andiegags,
i can totally relate to what you are saying,i used to find that even on yasmin 14 days before my period was due my anxiety levels would sky rocket, i used to take diazepam for my anxiety but decided to stop taking it and learn to deal with my anxiety,it sounds easier said than done i know! the 1st step is to keep telling yourself that the feelings of anxiety are not important as there is nothing to be anxious about and to just keep thinking positively that it will go away, you are in no danger and there is nothing wrong. now i am off yasmin (6 weeks) i have had 2 periods,i still feel a little more anxious before my periods but now i know that i will i am prepared and it doesn't freak me out so much, i found that by using positive thinking techniques i was a ble to stop taking the diazepam and can now cope on my own as i did not want to rely on drugs to ease the symptoms because as far as i am concerned drugs started this in the 1st place (ie taking the yasmin)
best wishes to you.

I was perscribed omnicef for a sore throat, upper respiratory infedtion. after only two days of 10 day course of treatment, I noticed SEVERE lower abdominal crapping. It was positively dibilitating. I imediately suspected the medication and promptly discontinued it's use. I'd rather take my chances with the flu!

I have long term diabetes w/ poor circulation and was prescribed Levaquin for an infection in the legs. After taking for 2 days I went into tachycardia (fast heartbeat, faint, weak) for almost 7 hours. All the usual tricks for stopping tachycardia would not work until the levaquin had weakened or diluted in my system. I have had this happen within three to six hours after taking now for a total of 6 episodes. Joints hurt but infection seems to be clearing. Legs get positively purple after sitting up more than two hours. Regain normal color after laying down for 1 hour or more...

Ive been on paxil for 5 months, never suffered from aniexty once in awhile little panic attacks, it positively took the "what if" out of my head. What if meaning what if it happens again? Normal side effects first 2-3 weeks otherwise feel like my normal self, wanted to stop at first but stuck with it. I dont know it these are side effects but I have dreams at night(nice ones) night sweats, constipation. Not sure if these are from the paxil though. I guess I will the first to say I recommend it.

Wow. After reading about everyone else's experience, I feel much better. I love the convenience of the Nuvaring, and in the two months I have used it, I have experienced no vaginal discharge or pain. However, the mood swings and bouts of depression have been positively debilitating. I don't know if it's a direct result of the ring or a side effect of the depression, but I am so tired all the time. I have fallen asleep three times over the course of the past two weeks in my car at work in the middle of the day. My sex drive is non-existent and I feel like a bloated cow. In September, I was running 11-minute miles in 5K races. Last week, I could barely walk on the treadmill for 35 minutes. I just feel like my body is betraying me. Will it get better????
