I am Happy to report My 5 year old son has been off Singulair for 12 days and there is such a difference he is not as angry, upset,as a matter of fact he's my little boy again Our problem with this Med was his vivid nightmares and sleepless nights from fear- He has improved so much we are sleeping thru the night and NO reported nightmares I am convienced that Singulair put my son through the ringer It's nice to see my happy, polite, full of energy son back from this horrible "nightmare" Has anyone else stop this med and see an improvement please post your changes Good Luck

My daughter just turned 3 yrs old, and was put on Singulair about a month ago. In this time I have noticed she has been stuttering. She is 3 yr old that has a huge vocabulary & is very smart (if I do say so myself). It is very odd to me that she is stuttering. In asking the DR, he did not feel it was medication related. But may I also add that she is fully potty trained & in the last few weeks has been wetting the bed every night.
Is anyone else's child stuttering?

Oh my goodness....thanks to all of you who have taken the time to post strange side affects - particularly those of your children. My daughter (4) has had them too: nightmares, fear, irritability, strange bed-wetting episodes (after more than 2 years of being potty-trained) followed by immediate and deep sleep, nocturnal seizures, anxiousness. Since taking her off the medicine, she is back to sleeping through the night and waking up for a trip to the bathroom. I've been to my pediatrician more than once talking about these episodes. He didn't seem to be aware of any side affects like these for Singulair. He will be now!
