I would first like to say that, overall, Lisiopril has saved my life. At 26 years old, I had extremely high blood pressure (secondary, 240/110) that would give me migraine-like headaches, vomiting and fainting spells. My left kidney was destroyed. The Lisiopril brought me down to a managable level, and I now live a mostly normal life.
I have been on Lisinopril for 2 years now, and have developed some side effects.
I had experienced coughing spells, which my doctors said were related to reflux, and the Nexium they put me on helps immensely.
I do have bouts of depression and profound feelings of loss, which seem to come out of nowhere. I have a lowered amount of drive and energy. Most disturbingly, my libido has dropped to near null and I have some erectile dysfunction.
Since I am probably going to be on Lisiopril for the rest of my life (no one has yet found the cause of my high blood pressure), I am looking for ways to deal with these symptoms. Preferrably naturally.

I am 31 years old and have been on Advair for atleast 5 years and have experienced a 25 lb weight gain despite all attempts at losing it, bruising, joint aches and pains, fatigue, and "lung pain." I have made the decision to wean myself off of it at this time especially because I plan on becoming pregnant in the near future. I need to search for alternative medications, preferrably not a steroid. Any ideas?? Thanks, Staci
