My niece (14 yrs old) has just been taken off Singulair. She had only been taking it for 3 weeks but started to experience body tremors and fits similar to epilepsy. Also dizziness, nausea, vomiting and terrible mood swings.

After several trips to doctors and the hospital, Singulair was identified as the probable cause. She has stopped taking the drug but is still experiencing fits and shakes. Apparently it can take up to a week to work its way out of her body.

It seems that this drug has poisoned her. I do not believe that Singulair should be licensed for use in children - there must be better ways to control asthma.

I'm a 59-year old male who hadn't suffered from insomnia for 20 years...until switching to Flomax from Doxazosin (4mg am & pm). Thank goodness for this blog/bulletin board because now I know probable cause of dreadful insomnia that's afflicted me for past 3 weeks. It's back to Doxazosin tomorrow for me!

Has anyone experienced Melasma with this drug? I am trying to identify if this is the cause of my melasma, because it worsened when we increased from dose from 150 up to 250mg a day.
