****OKINPA: I can't wait to hear how you're doing with the generic Celexa, because I just started it today. I have noticed a couple side effects: fatigue, shaky hands and sort of "in a fog" but I feel much more relaxed than I did yesterday!! I'm praying to God that this medicine will just be a guide to help me begin the journey of counseling. I am only on 10mg and hope I don't have to increase, just need a little something to calm my nerves so that I can actually make it to the counseling sessions without having a panic attack. I was also prescribed ativan to use as an immediate relief until Celexa kicks in. I take half of the .5mg tablets of the ativan. I HATE taking medicine and any weird change in my body makes me paranoid, so I can't believe I'm actually trying this. BUT, I have to, I'm so sick of being a prisoner in my home.

Well my experience with Wellbutrin has been better than that with Lexipro which i was on for a month as well . I have been taking Wellbutrin for about a month now at 150 mg's. I am 15 years old and am on it for ptsd, depression, and anxiety I've been experiencing really vivid and horrific nightmare, mostly centered around cuts on my body and hurting my loved ones, it was really concerning me so I asked my psychiatrist about it, he recommended that I switch to different med's . So if any of you are experiencing what I am you might want to concider that option. Wish me luck on my path to a long awaited relief

My 12 year old daughter began taking this drug a month ago and I noticed she does alot of twiching while falling asleep. One night I even heard her have a bout with sleep apnea. This scared the heck out of me. This med seems to do nothing for her defiant disorder so why should I keep her on it? After hearing the syptoms of discontinuing this drug I am a bit worried about getting her off of this. She also takes remeron for depression. Can someone give me some good advice on how to confront this drug pushing psyciatrist that put her on this nasty med?
