Just had laprascopic surgery to remove a borderline ovarian tumor the size of a 6-7 month baby yesterday. I've been taking Lisinopril-HCTZ 10-12.5 for about 2 years now and have posted on this site before regarding my symptoms. Since this med works on the kidneys/adrenal glands and adrenal glands regulate some hormones I am wondering now about the possible connection between this med and my sudden cyst/tumor. The tumor was actually my left ovary enlarged to that size! Although benign, my very first symptom of this cyst started exactly when i began the med. It grew pretty rapid over a two year period. I have found no proof or mention anywhere and every doctor looks at me like I'm crazy, but my entire life I have NEVER had issues with my menstrual cycle or even much pain. After I began this med, I HAD to use ibuprofen every period. I began my cycle at 11 and not until 34 did I have issues - same time I began Lisinopril/HCTZ. Are their any women who are having female problems since taking this? Of course, the heart palpitations, arm and leg aches (like those of growing pains when you were a kid), dizziness, anxiety, depression, irregular sleep habits that I cannot break, increase appetite for mostly meats and proteins, some mild hair loss, abdominal cramping/tingling, hands and feet numbness, shoulder/neck pain, overall achyness, sudden/rash emotional extremes, even suicidal thoughts I know are side effects of this med.

my 5 year old has been on sigular for about 6 months and I did notice some negetive side effects that have just seemed to get worse. Primarly irritabiltiy and more agressiveness - not really physical - but teasing and mean. He wasn't like this before - although we've had some hardship and exteme loss in his life during this time as well. He does however control it at school which makes me wonder if it is a side effect (he is only in school 2.5 hrs).
He takes 1 pill at night and sleeps like a rock - so much he doesn't wake to go potty and is still in pull-ups (another side effect??)
Anyway - I decided to take him off - only 2 days now - how long unitil I see results.

For the first two days, I was depressed and sluggish. I had no sex drive. My pulse was slow no matter what. On the third day, I forced myself to workout...a 2-hour bike ride followed by pull-ups and push-ups. Felt fine. Kind of strange at times, but my heart did not beat quite as fast as before. Have been working out everyday since. Can't drink alcohol now that I'm on this stuff. 1-3 beers knocks me right out! Felt dizzy when I got out a chair too quickly today. Curious to see what is in store for me.

I was prescribed Levaquin,by a dermatologist, 500MG for 10 days for a skin infection. I began to have severe muscle/tendon pain within a few days. I took it for 9 days. I stopped taking it 8 days ago, and still have severe arm pain. I feel like I've been doing more than 100 pull-ups. I find it difficult to carry a bag, as it adds to the pain. I've tried Naproxen, but it doesn't seem to help. The pain is worse earlier in the day. I talked to my primary Dr. 2 days ago. He thinks it is from the leaquin in combination with Crestor", a cholesterol lowing drug I take. I also take Femara and effexor. I'm wondering ifanyone has had drug interaction problems when taking levaquin, or if this pain is just from the one drug.I am also experiencing unusual (for me) fatigue, and wonder if this is related to Levaquin also.
