I hate this thing and can not wait to have it removed!!! I'm 45 and thought this was a great choice for me with menopause on the horizon. NOT! I had the very painful insert on Aug 4th 09 and have been bleeding ever since. 2 weeks of bleeding straight, I'd rather give birth to a razor blade! Then spotted for two weeks. Went back to have a recheck on Sept. 3rd and have had a tampon in all day and night for a month! I 'm now worried about TSS and I'm now also 10 pounds heavier, have experienced tingling in my arms, pain across my shoulder blades and I cry, a lot! I called my Dr. and she said this was normal and would subside! WHAT? Sex is not even an issue because who wants to be down in the red zone! I'm having it expelled on Tues. the 6th and can't wait to lose the symptoms and be back to normal. I look forward to having sex again without towels down like I'm house training a puppy. Good Luck to all of us and yes I think we should sue!

I have been on FEMCON for 3 weeks and I have gained 10lbs since starting it. Now mind you I have weighed 125lbs since S. was a puppy so this extra weight has terrified me because it is all in my stomach area. Also I have had migraines like you wouldn't believe to the point where I have had to miss days from work. To top it off my insurance company says its non formulary and I have to pay 50% of the cost (bummer). I only plan to take it 2 more days that's when my doctor will be in her office and I am changing these crazy pills. Anyone have any suggestion for pills that work for heavy cycles?

While I am sure that Singulair has adverse effects for some children/teenagers/adults, I took Singulair for 2-3 years (until my asthma symptoms improved to the point where I didn't need to take it) while I was a kid and had no adverse side effects. Started back on Singulair in April after having severe reactions to my new puppy (I am now 21). Since then, I really haven't had any side effects at all. I agree that they should black box Singulair and possibly not prescribe it to some children/teens, but for some people (like myself), it works, and shouldn't be taken off the market completely.

I'm 31 and started taking Effexor a week ago 75mg to begin with. Today I'm doubling the dose. I am mourning for the loss of my husband whom I have been together with for three years and married for 4 months! In a week I had a serious nervous breakdown due to an obsession in my mind; related to getting his personal belongings from his family. But today when I think about my feelings, it seems as if they're all lost. Or they are buried even deeper inside of me. I can't cry and this is uncomfortable. One day I'm seriously aggressive, another day I'm the easiest person on earth, then another day I'm fighting with my emotions like missing him bad. I had suicidal thoughts as well. When I look back, it seems overwhelming what I felt due to this medicine on top of my deep sorrow.
I don't really know how this dose doubling will affect me, but I'm anxious!!!!!

I am glad I found this site before I got rid of my puppy. I had the Kenalog shot also back in mid summer of 07. I had a bad case of poison ivy at the time and the shot got rid it. For a month or so I was rash free then I started itching on my head, back and sides. I hate to even brush my hair because it is coming out (thank God I have thick hair). My back still itches and the rash is mainly around my elbows and lower part of my legs. But I will not be wearing shorts this summer unless I can get rid of it. It really looks bad and the itch is almost unbearable sometimes. I have tried several creams and nothing works now I know why. Anyway I thought my puppy was the cause of this until now. I had other side effects but this rash is the worse one and I hope the last.

All you are Hypochondriacs. If one person says this medicine is causing this, then of course; you all have the same problem "some how." Isn't this weird? It is called the "placebo effect." Normally all the people involved in the testing are given "Lisinopril" (or some other drug), then the placebo group is given a vitamin supplement, the group receving the vitamin supplement is being told they are receving "Lisinopril." Mysteriously?, the "placebo group" is all feeling better and their symptoms are gone. This is due to the fact that all these people in the "placebo group" have interacted with eachother and have told eachother "I feel better" than of course everybody feels better. So WEIRD!! So, my point is this forum is all your peoples "placebo group." If you guys never heard of these side effects from this forum you would have never experinced them. Hypochondriacs all of you are. This is a very good medicine that is helping all of you make up for your peoples lack of self-disipline to control your diet or exercise enough to lower your blood pressure naturally. So be thankful. Lets not complain about false side effects because John has them. I wonder what the side-effects of that cheese burger are that caused high blood pressure. It is funny, I don't see a forum for that. So deal with your so called "side-effects" that are associsted with "Lisinopril" or go on a diet people. Get over it!!

I was cleaning out my expired meds. I had some levquin that luckily had not been taken by my family. I dropped a pill and my 16wk. old puppy ate a 500mg. pill and the very next day she was wobbly, I thought she was just tired. As the day went on she lost control of her back legs and eventually lost control of her front legs. It has been 3 days the only thing she can move is her head. This has been devistating to my family. I can just pray and hope that is wares off with no return or other damaging side effects.
I hope this makes others realize just how poisionous this is and after reading other web sites on this I am blown away that this is still on the market just waiting to destoy someone elses life. The learning lesson here is even if it is perscribed by a doctor do your research on any medication before giving it to your loved ones.
