I started taking Yasminelle (its dosage is much lower than Yasmin's) about 5-6 months ago; the side-effects I endured during the first two months keep coming back as soon as I start a new packet. Side effects such as nausea during the first week of taking the pills, continuous breast pain. These side effects are completely making me seem like a total freak when I am out- I am always complaining about how sick I feel and I also can't drink because as a result i feel queasy and I'd have to stop. Does any one else feel the same way on Yasminelle particularly? i have been searching online for discussions regarding Yasminelle but I have found none at all...anyone else on Yasminelle and do you consider it a good form of birth control?

About a week after I started Wellbutrin, I noticed some skin irritation on my eyelids and around my lips. I had just started dating a new guy, and we spent a lot of time testing whether it could be his aftershave, his cats, his laundry soap, etc. I've been putting up with this weird face itching (and my legs seemed itchier than usual, too, though they are prone to dry skin) until I abruptly stopped the wellbutrin about three weeks ago when I broke my wrist. Amidst the misery of the wrist, I did notice that my lips and eyelids had stopped bothering me. Once I was off the pain meds, I started the Wellbutrin again and sure enough, the itching/tingling has returned with a vengeance. Now that I think I've pinpointed the cause, I'm going to stop the drug again and see if the itching goes away.
I've also bean more headachey than usual and have noticed my stomach being queasy on occasion. I had increased the dosage from 150 to 300mg, but had to reduce it again because of frequent nausea.

I started the NuvaRing 2 days ago and since reading this site I have just run to the bathroom and swiped the thing out as fast as I could.
I did not really want to go to another form of hormonal birth control as I have had some severe side effects in the past on the Pill (Loette 28), which I took for seven years. I had no idea that all the symptoms I was having had anything to do with the Pill until I decided to stop taking it about 8 months ago. Since then, I have been a new person, according to my boyfriend. I no longer feel depressed, sad, anxious, or have severe nausea and vomiting. It's sad to think that for seven years I was doing so much damage to my body and my mind because of this.
The one other thing I noticed being off the Pill was an increase in yeast and vaginal infections. I have also been having abnormal PAP smears and have since discovered that I have mild dysplaysia.
So I went to the doctor and he told me that if I go back on the Pill or the NuvaRing, he thinks it might help the yeast infections. I was really skeptical and have been putting it off for months, but finally, I inserted it 2 days ago. The very first day I was having symptoms: Severe headaches (I NEVER get headaches!), nausea, depression, and the worst heart palpitations and dizziness I have ever felt!! I felt weird, like something was taking control of my body. Anyway, after trying to eat something last night and feeling queasy throughout the meal and then vomiting for the first time in 8 months, I am convinced that this is not me!!! It is the NUVARING!!!
Two days was enough for me- I am not going to wait it out this time. I want to be hormone free! If you really think about it, how can putting your body in a constant state of pregnancy be healthy?? We are not made for that. It is completely unnatural!!! We are inevitably playing with fire here.
My advice to any women out there? Seriously watch for ALL symptoms you are having with the Ring or any Pill and if there are any that are similar to this site, then please try and go off it and see what you feel. You may feel like a different person, like I did!!
Good Luck

I started taking Levaquin on a Friday for an upper respiratory infection and by Saturday night both my knees and right hip were aching. I could not sleep and I would lie awake at night thinking awful things; dying, being mugged, going bankrupt, etc.... I am the kind if person that needs to sleep a lot in order to get well and Levaquin was depriving me of that.
I was always queasy, no matter what I ate of if I went hungry. By Tuesday, my symptoms had not improved at all so I called the doc and told him I wanted something different. I had never had an antibiotic not work plus, being a three tier drug at $35.00, I was pissed off that I wasted my money. My doc prescribed Augmentin and I am 10 times better now.

I was prescribed Levaquin by my ENT because I was suffering from a severe sinus infection. The first dose I took made me vomit. Luckily, I only had to take it once a day so by the time I took my next dose, I was able to keep it down. However, I could not move around. I spent two days in bed and finally went to Urgent Care my third day into the dose. There, the doctor asked me what the doctor had prescribed me and I told him Levaquin. He prescribed me something to stop the vomitting (I three up for three days) and something to dry up my sinuses. He also told me to eat yogurt because the antibiotic I was taking was so strong, that it not only kills bad bacteria, but good bacteria too. I took the Levaquin for 7 out of the 10 days but stopped it because a week later, I still could not function 100% and found myself vomitting again. Mind you, my sinus pressure, headache was gone as were my other sinus symptoms, but I was still threwing up. After I stopped the Levaquin, I stopped throwing up. But now, my stomach is upset 24/7 and I feel queasy all the time. On top of that, my left arm has been hurting and the other night I woke up because my chest felt really tight. If I drink milk, I get really sick. This did not happen before I took the Levaquin, but my understanding is you need good bacteria to digest milk properly. I think this drug needs to be taken off the shelf before it kills someone.

To Guest 12473 especially: Many thanks for your posting.
I too, have been on this lisinopril for nearly two years, starting w 10mg and recently ending at 40mg. Side effects include erratic BP, horrific dry cough in the evening, productive but sometimes bloody sputum in the morning. Unexplained low grade fever that comes and goes. WBC going out of sight, RBC going down. Hemotologist/Oncologist wants to do bone marrow biopsy thinking the same as Guest 12473: lymphocytic leukemia. My opinion: I've been slowly poisoned by this filth for months. Of course the body is doing strange things, the WBC are trying to fight off this chemical infection. I pray permanent damage has not been done. Quit the lisinopril 48 hours ago. Cough is starting to improve, feeling somewhat better and more energetic, but am now getting queasy throughout the day. Supposed to fly to England and Wales in a few days; hope I can make it.
This filth needs to come off the market now!

I use trimethobenz for air sickness. It totally prevented me from vomiting or from feeling queasy or ill. I had originally used Tigan, but Trimethobenz works with less sleepiness.

My son, 15, has been taking doxy for acne for about 3 mths. He took it at night, with food. He recently told me that he has been having severe stomach pain (like spasms) in the mornings at school. After the pain subsides, he feels mildly queasy for a while, then he's okay until the next morning. We saw the doc about this and discovered that he also has a low white blood cell count. I know that a month before beginning the doxy, his blood values were all perfect. Has anyone else had anything like this???

Started on Geodon 40 mg in the evening three days ago. (This is prescribed for bipolar and I also take Prozac.) It knocks me out cold about 1-1/2 hours after taking it and I have a hell of a time waking up in the morning, so knocked out-feeling, brain dead, drowsy. My husband the insomniac says I have started to make VERY strange noises in my sleep (I'm not talking in my sleep anymore, just making strange noises), but when I ask him to describe the noises, he just laughs and won't tell me. I shudder to think. After finally waking up, I feel hyper, am pacing, agitated and I am sweating like crazy. Also, my stomach feels vaguely queasy. The doctor plans to increase this to 80 mg. (Oh for joy.) It's too soon to tell, I know, but I'm so sick of taking endless drugs and combinations that don't work. I feel weird with them, I feel weird without them. What a life.

I had a urological procedure yesterday and the doctor prescribed Levaquin, 500mg as a precaution. today is the second time taking the tablet, it definitely is a dangerous drug. i have been vomiting for most of the day, i have no appetite and my stomach is very queasy.. i woke up with a terrible lower back pain and it has persisted all day. i have asked the doc to change to something less nauseating.

hair loss on arms and legs, aching pain in arms and legs as if bruised but I am not, anxiety while driving or just anxious period. The the usual everyone else has postsed: queasy, lethargic, depressed, no interest in exercise or romance, withered skin and dehydrated. Been on Yasmin for 6 months - have switched today to Desogen.

One of my yasmin side effects is the nausea and upset stomach. I can't seem to eat anything without getting queasy. I always feel like the bile is rising in my throat when I lay down. I've had to quit. It made me so tired and headachey as well.

I am 37 years old and have been on Loestrin 24 for 3 months. I had some spotting right before my real period was supposed to start for the first two months, but fairly normal periods. I am now at the end of my third month and still waiting for my period. I freaked out as I am NEVER late and thought I was pregnant. I took a pregnancy test that was negative, but am still waiting for my period. After reading all these posts though, I think perhaps it's the pill and not me.
-- By louise8870 | Reply | (1) replies | Private Message meThis month I had weird nausea and stomach issues. One other woman posted the same - gurgling and pain on the left side - me too! Even though I still feel sort of queasy, I am ravenous this week and craving the oddest foods.
I haven't had too many emotional side effects though. In fact, this one is probably the best for me thus far. My OB/GYN has been switching me all around to try to get the right balance. I'm less crazy on this one, but not having my period is too strange. Not sure what to do.
