Rash on face symptoms and conditions

This drug is absolute poison and should be banned from US markets. I have increased fever decreased urination rash on face and neck a cough. My doctor who prescribed me this poison examined me today an ruled out an adverse reaction. I guess as with most MDs his overwhelming arrogance wouldn't allow him to make an error by giving me this absolute poison in a pill. This poison should be evaluated by the FDA and some sort of screening should be done to see if you are allergic to this miserable drug. After reading all of these stories I am truly disgusted that the poison is so frivolously prescribed. We are test subjects ginnea pigs lab rats. Let's shoot from the hip and see if it works. I am pissed off!

First off I will begin by saying I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2006.
I just finished 10 days worth of Levaquin 500 mg.,(for a sinus infection) that seemed to be reoccurring after 2weeks of Augmentin generic), the whole time while on it I've been experiencing horrible side effects. I'd say the worst one is joint pain..(.especially knees & hips), Left shoulder, neck,upper back burning-miserable pain, unable to sleep (from what I remember of the last 6 days only 21 hrs. of sleep!!) dizziness, nausea,bad muscle pain, lower back pain, weird stomach pain, bloating, urinary retention, (was tested for an UTI-negative! )
6 days into it returned to Dr. because I'd been up all night itching like CRAZY, along w/the lower bk.pain,urinary problems, and a rash on face, chest, &upper back. (she attributed the rash to sun-photo sensitivity....had not even been outside!!) I also developed a yeast infection.( Expected I guess after 24 days total of antibiotics.)
debilitating headache, Very irritable, weepy,anxious, sore throat, very VIVID nightmares twice.
On the last day of taking it 3/3/09...had to run a couple of errands...felt dangerous behind the wheel..just plain weird & ILL!!!!!
Had taken this twice before since 2006 (also for sinus inf's.) thinking back...I felt like hell then too...but attributed to a Fibro. Flare. Now I believe that it was BAD REACTIONS to the Levaquin. I will NEVER take this med. again, have been so miserable would have rather been dead. (and I KNOW that's terrible to say!!) I take Morphine Sulf SR on a daily basis for the fibro, but it WOULDN'T even begin to touch the pain I've been experiencing while on Levaquin. ( Had mentioned that at the Drs. appointment, she didn't EVEN put 2+2 together....well I have!!) I'm VERY upset about it!! I reported it to the FDA.GOV/medwatch. This drug should be taken off the market in my opinion. I will be returning to see her if these pains,ETC. do not stop by tomorrow.....I'd had my fibro fairly under control before the Levaquin. Just to mention I was drinking plenty of water..due to dry mouth. I'm happy I found this site, I was looking for info as to how long this med. stays in your system. After reading many other postings here, I KNOW that what I've been feeling is NOT just a FMS flare, but caused by this Levaquin.

I am so relieved to have stumbled across this site and if I can help another woman who feels awful on this pill, then that'll be a good thing. Here we go: been on Yasmin for two weeks and already I have: constant heart palpitations - 24 hours a day; hair has started falling; rash on face that's coverable, only thanks to Dior; waking every night with the palpitations and needing the loo; constant period. I'm binning the packet and going au naturel. Best of luck girls.

Depression, shorter periods, bigger boobs, slight rash on face. Unfortunately, I had to stop it after four months due to the depression side effect. Other than that, it was a great pill. I've been on many other pills with alot worse side effects: weight gain, hair loss, dizziness, etc.

took 100, 250 and 500 short term and exper-
ienced rashes, irrability, hoarse voice, bloated

when he began to run or play. I took him off
cold turkey after doctors referred him to a
cardiologist, pulmonologist and gastrologist.
Turns out him simply had acid reflux all these
years and has not used his albuterol since
being put on the proper medication. KNOW
YOUR STUFF AND RESEARC!!!!!

Blood from nose at onset, then later severe rash on face, scalp and neck. Itchy. Swollen lips.

weight gain, especially in face, stomach, and arms; rash on face, chest, and arms; mood swings; insomnia; increased appetite; hot flashes and increased sweating; am on 80mg one day and 20mg the opposite day to keep me breathing, was on a ventilator for about 2 weeks after a thymectomy to control my myasthenia gravis; am glad to be breathing but the prednisone seems to be doing more harm than good
