I was prescribed 750 mg. for 3 days of Levaquin for a UTI by a doctor (not my regular) I did notice the slight dizziness but wasn't too concerned. I also had some insomnia but didn't connect it to Levaquin. Then in the a.m. after 21 hours of taking the first dose, I had elevated heart rate and blood pressure along with nervousness. Scary! I've taken 250 mg of Levaquin for sinus infection previously (3 days) and never had any side effects. I even asked for this prescription...can you believe that. It's New Years Day so I can't even contact my regular doctor but I am stopping Levaquin and requesting to not ever prescribe this drug to me again!!!!!

HI- I was also checking in on the die effects of this drug and ran into this site. I am on my 6th day of bactrim and feel like my legs are going to explode. Yesterday I had chest pain and an upset stomach. I was prescribed the bactrim on my second visit to the ER caused by a bladder cystitis. I had a very large amount of blood in my urine and bled for 4 days. I feel better but I don't feel 100% myself still. Freaking out that it has such a reaction time after the medication has finished.

Have been on Seroquel 300mg for about a month now for management of bipolar. Was combined with Depakote, but the doc discontinued the Depakote. With Seroquel *only*.... Works great for getting to sleep, but. significant weight gain (like 12lbs in 30 days), dry/cotton mouth almost like dehydration, fatigue from simple tasks, mentally foggy during the daytime, loss of emotion, poor motor skills/reaction time, and restless legs. The foggy feeling I attribute to a long half-life with a residual effect carry over to the next day. Before this med, I was manic, but now into a mild emotionless depression which is a dreadful feeling. Saw my doctor today, and he said
to cut the dose to 150mg and said it is a wimpy dose. In my opinion, this
is a horrible maintenance drug for bipolar.

I have been on Topamax for 4 months and so far the migraines I have suffered for 40 years are gone. Great Some side effects like can't stand carbonated drinks. Reaction time is a little slower. I stress out a little more then I used to. I get really tired at the end of the day. I used to be a night owl but now love my sleep. Question to you all. Any one had problems with their teeth? Such as pain, fillings falling out? Let me know.

ive been on this steroid several times for:
-asthma
-exczema
-poison ivy

my side effects are actually humorous. I have delayed reaction time,i get dopey and start drooling, and im very very giggly. Some of the not-so-funny side effects are jello-like feeling in your legs and arms, severe nausea at night after you take the dose for the day, lack of sleep, and my head feels 20 pounds heavier.

this steroid works very well, nothing else really does anything for me.

I have dry mouth, pupils dilated, sweaty palms, speedy, racy feeling, palpitations and slow reaction time. Definitely not for children.
