Realy symptoms and conditions

i am planning to have it placed but i can't have sex for fourteen days before i can get i just want to know if anyone else had to this and why. dburgess

I had the Mirena coil removed a week and a half ago and let me tell you I have had the worst week ever!!
My reasons for getting it removed were the same as most people, very bad mood swings,always snapping at my boyfriend, depression, always bleeding, severe stomach cramps all the time, anxiety, hair loss, low libido and the list goes on... I never had any of this before the mirena.. I never realised the mirena could of been the cause until I decided to google it one day and found thousands of women had the same symptoms, everything then made sense...

I made the appointment to get it removed and immediately started taking Vit B6, Primrose oil and I have ordered 5HTP on the internet cos I cant find it anywhere... day 4 I started getting very bad anxiety and horrible suicidal thoughts, I have always been a happy person and couldnt understand what was happening to me... the whole week at work was a blur and each day was a struggle to get through.. I was continuously crying and I had these horrible thoughts in my mind that wouldnt go away!! it has been a nightmare.. its like they are stuck in my mind and I cant think of anything else but these horrible thoughts! (The weird thing is I had the same thoughts when I had the mirena inserted 2.5 years ago but they werent as bad as now and they eventually went away) I saw my doctor on Thursday morning and explained these problems and she prescribed me valium tablets to take away the anxiety... later that afternoon I had a anxiety attack and landed going back to the doctor because of these horrible suicidal thoughts in my mind... My doctor reffered me to a phyciatrist which I saw yesterday, I have never had to see anyone like this before so it was very scary for me... the shrink I saw said that there was no ways the mirena could be doing this to me.... she gave me more valium for my anxiety and now I have to see a special therapist once a week until these thoughts are cleared from my mind!
I find it very strange that all this started 4 days after my mirena was removed! I know this is all happening because of the mirena, the only thing that is keeping me going is reading everyones posts and knowing that this will go way once my hormones settle, I know im not going crazy even though it feels like I am!!
Every doctor I have spoken to will not agree that the mirena could cause any of these side effects! It makes me so mad that so many women are going through this and the doctors think the Mirena is the best thing since slice bread! How can they have no idea!!??
If anyone is thinking of getting the mirena.. DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 28 and have lupus, I was put on 10 mg of methotrexate last week weekly. Im expierencing some really weird side effects, atleast I think there side effects. My lower abdomen became very sensitive, I couldnt even touch the area where my uterus is, and now my breast have enlarged by a whole cup size and become very, VERY sore. Like the sore you get when you first get pregnant but I had a tubal ligation 6 years ago so pregnancy is out of the question. My heart beat is irregular and caffene seems to realy make it worse. I am soooo tired too, omg. I can't believe how tired I have become. And my hair is falling out, every time I shower it falls out in handfulls. Has anyone else experienced any of these symptoms? If so please share!

I can't believe what I'm reading tonight on this page, I decided that today was the day I needed to check up on side effects of singulair, since my 5yro, needs his 3rd refill. Three weeks ago I took my boy to the doctor, because of severe weeknes,fatigue. irritability,lose of interest in studying, in sports, in home works, and lose of appetite one of my main concern, I ask his ped if maybe these could be side effects from his singulair, She said no way she hasn't heard of such effects from this drug, and that the side effects form singulair was realy mild, I took her word on it and continue my poor lillte boy in the hell he is living in, oh. she send him to the lab and draw blod for a series of exams, but find nothing so I continue my days wondering and suffering for my child, My mother-in-law even recomended counseling for my boy since we have a new baby at home, tonight I decided before getting his reffill why not do some research and find out what other people are saying? this is the first page i ran in to and I know that I dont need to read much more to take my boy off of this singulair.
ps. we can not rely on our doctors to talk bad of any drug.

I can't tell if the pill is making me depressed or everything else going on in my life. Has anyone else felt depressed since taking Femcon? I have been on it for about four months.

I have been on the Nuvaring for 8 months, and I finally got to the end of my rope tonight and removed it forever.

The biggest problem for me was the loss of sex drive. I didn't realy attribute it to the ring at first, but I now have almost no sex drive whatsoever. I almost loathe having sex with my boyfriend - I feel like it's a chore. When I do feel like I'm in th emood, my body sort of betrays me; I can't lubricate myself very well, and once we get started, I don't really feel "into it."

The other problems I hadn't really even considered were side effects of the ring, but here are some other things that have been bothering my life within the past 8 months: swollen breasts, intense lower back pain, total loss of energy. Much like the woman who posted before me, I used to be very physically active - I was running 15-20 miles a week, and since I started the ring, I have felt very lethargic. Running and exercise used to be a huge part of my life, and now I get to the gym once a week if at all and then I'm there, I don't feel the same energy I once had...

The lower back pain was indescribable. It was so terrible at one point that I had to take off work for two days because it kept me awake at night crying in pain. I practically lived with a heating pad on my back for two weeks because it was so terrible. When I went to the doctor, he found it strange that I couldn't attribute the pain to a particiular incident... I wonder now if it was a result of the ring.

But, as I said, I threw the towel in, so to speak, on the ring, mainly so my boyfriend and I can get back to a normal sex life. I will update in a few weeks when the hormones have worn off.

I am realy glad you all have came forward about all these side effects because i am on toprol XL 50mg a day for high blood presure and irregular heart beat it seems that my heart starts to beat irregular when my pulse gets into the 110 beats a minute to about 121 beats a minute and the Toprol sure is a life saver when it comes down to slowing my heart rate it will slow my heart rate down to about 85 beats a minute,but as for the rest of this medicine i have bad side effects too, i get realy bad chest pain on my left side around my heart area and go all around my chest left and right side and i have real bad panic attacks at night they are so bad that i cannot sleep, sometimes i feel my heart take off beating very rapidly and then back to normal it always realy scares me when this happens.thanks for you all posting your experiences about this Toprol drug it has realy eased my mind now I was realy thinking there was something realy wrong with my heart or body, now i know it's Toprol doing this too me thanks again.

major itching, welts, and rash. I have been taking wellbutrin for three weeks and I am not taking it anymore! Class-action is in my future! and to the guy who said "you just need a drink" - your implication that everyone is just nuts (as the drug inherently suggests) was really off the mark. You must be an investor in the companies who develope these meds!

i started taking biaxin xl 500 mg for 3 days on the 3rd day i knotice a white spot in my mouth the next day i woke up and knotice i had white spots all on the inside of cheeks and on my tounge it seemed everytime i looked i saw a new cluster form went to the doctor and he said it was a yeast infection in my mouth only other side effect was that i had a realy nasty taste in my mouth i stoped taking the biaxin for it scared me to death when i looked up yeast infection in mouth on the internet

I too am having great problems on Yasmin. The fist week my moods was great and I though wow this is going to work for me! Then I started getting realy bad night sweats and yuck sweaty feet all the time then, my breasts started to hurt all the time like I was pregnant. The worst then came... it was like I had the flu 24/7 I had diareah none stop...sick all the time. The heart thing that so many of you are going through scares me to no end! I have a heart pelpatation too. I'm going off it today after reading all this. No way! I would rather have heavy periods.

I went to the docter to do blood tests my estrogen came back low has this happened to any one?
I realy want to get pregnant but all my symptons show I am menapousal. Help I am only 33,I had no other problems prior to using Yasmin....

hello again, another week an a half and still not able to sleep with out help. my heart has not been racing as much and the blood pressure has come down some but now i have pain in my knees and my lower back is realy bad. i have a hard time getting dressed in the mourning because of the back pain. i saw my doctor yesterday and he said not to beleive what i read on the net and that i have arthridis. i may have to see a diferent doctor. dose any body know how long this knee and back pain is going to last. if so, please let me know----******

I remember the blurry vision being realy bad first 3 months its settled a bit now but as SILKE said to be its worse around stress and being this your first period then thats also a factor.
Let me know the bp results, h9ow are you feeling otherwise.
The anxiety is always bad around period time i found so maybe thats a time to take perhaps something herbal eg chamomile tea or something to relax you so you are relying on a natural helper. DOnt get me wrong i totallyunderstand why you are on the paxil and zanax as im sure anyone here would i just dont want to see you go through another type of withdrawal thats all. I understand having kids and going through this is HELL i have 3 ages 10,7 and 2 so im there with you but battling it out each month now is gonna save you later i assure you....
You will get there and just like the others were there for me im here for you..........

have you had any blood tests done since being off yasmin eg cholestrol etc , after a extended time especially you Silke as its been a year ( congrats on that).
Silke also you said you blood perssure is st8ill up a little do you measure that yoursef or by doctor and do you need to take any meds for that.
TWO GIRLS MOM, how are you, you can guess know that the pals and anxiety are period related and it will ease as your cycle goes on. My first two months were really realy hard but its getting better coming into my 4th month could never have made it without the girls here, also how did you go with the bp monitor ???

i have been on and off this stuff for 3 yrs. I have problems with my lower legs and feet from my diabeties. It works good most of the time. First i must say i have a little bit of a tempper but some times i blow up at my wife really bad over nothing at all, mostly in the am. If any one has had this happen please email me. i feel realy bad when i do the to my wife. the meds are what my wife and i can ony figure out.

can anyone help?? ive been off yasmin for 3 months and i keep having heart pulpitations... is it normal? ive been to hospital and had so many blood tests but they say im fine....sometimes it lasts for days at a time...
is there anyone who knows what i can do to help stop them? it realy freaks me out...

I have a little foster girl who takes this and her behaver is realy bad . she takes 25mg aday . I TELL HER DR, BUT I DONT THINK THEY UNERSTAND . HELP ME HELP HER

I have been on celexa for about 4 months. Since two and a half monthes ago my left jaw started to clicking. I dose not happen every time that I open my jaw, but it happens 50% of the time. I do not have pain, but It realy bothers me. Has any one else had this problem?

I was diagnosed with a hypo thyroid and I was on 50 mcg for about 2 months now and I suffered from heart flutters that would wake me up in the night.....My doctor uped my dose for two weeks to 75 mcg and then put me on 100mcg I only took 1 pill of 100mcg and I had heart flutters and skipps, My enternal temperature went up and down, I even lost conciousness in and out, I told the doctor about it but did not go into a clinic or hospital he said take half a pill and Ill see you tomorow, so I did and felt fine for the day then on my birthday October 27 I took 75 mcg and still I was fine for the day.....But yesterday I took 75 mcg again and last night I ended up in the hospital, my girlfriend said I went from my normal coulor to yellow and my heart rate went through the roof and I felt like I was going to through up....I also felt slow. Is all of this realy necisarry....If the doctors were diagnosing us right and giving us the right pills would we not be fine.Im 22 years and have a four year old little boy to live for and my heart rate was 110 when I went in yesterday and they had to give me a pill to slow down my heart rate....I dont find that normal for a 22 year old to have to be going through. I DONT THINK SO!

realy sore mouth,,and raw feeling,,,numb tongue and dryness in the back of my throat like strap throat just after one pill of levaquin 500 mg back of throat is so raw.Lips on inside dry and cracking.

Trouble sleepin, Bad stomach aches (may be caused by recent prescripted Omnicef antibiotic). Does thsi realy cause weight gain? I need to loose weight, so i will have to stop if that is teh truth. Its sad though because it is a miracle for my asthma!
