I am totally shocked at what I have learned about Lipitor. My physician prescribed 10mg for me over 4 years ago. No major problems until recently. Severe neck/shoulder pain for about 3 months. Dr said it was a pulled muscle. Gave me Skelaxin. No help. Went to Chiropractor--yanked, cracked, beat, etc--no help. In the past 2 weeks or so I have developed pain in my hips, back and legs. Blamed it on being 52 years old. As I read some of the experiences on here I could relate to each one. I also have gained about 30 pounds in the past 4 years, short term memory is terrible. NO ENERGY> 3 years ago-Dr started me on Wellbutrin for depression, then added Zoloft. I am to the point now I want to get off of all this and see how I could really feel. Not sure about withdrawals. Any comments on stopping the meds?

My doctor prescribed me Prednisone on May 3. I'm on 10 mg. I start out on 3 tabs 2x a day for 4 days, then 2 tabs 2x a day for 3 days, then 1 tab 1x a day for 2 days. I was put on this for a sudden attack of joint pain/stiffness/swelling of my elbows, wrists, hands, knees, ankles and feet. I was in extreme pain. So far this drug has given me no side effects other than needing to urinate a little more often than usual. My pain is gone, as is the swelling. I'm almost scared to go off this b/c of the fear of the pain coming back. My blood tests came back on Friday and my doctor told me that I had Rheumitic (sorry, I know that's spelled wrong) inflammation and if the pain did come back after I stopped the Prednisone that I'd have to do more blood tests. I just turned 30 and I'm scared to death what else might be wrong with me.

extreme dizziness, ataxia, weakness, and nausea
either this is due to the Lamictal or I'm an incredible wimp
I'm still working up to my recommended dose
as of now, I'm only on 100/day
I have the flu or it's the Lamictal

After 3 days of taking sudafed cold formula, my 84 y/o mother-in-law began to experience hallucinations. The recommended dose was 2 tabs every 6-8 hrs and not to exceed 8 tabs a day. She was taking no more than 6 tabs a day. She does not have any comorbidities. Has this ever been reported? and how could she be treated?

I have just been switched from Lisinopril 10mg to 20mg. On 10mg my bp dropped from 160/90 to 150/70. The reason I was given for the increase to 20mg was that it's the recommended dose. I now have a constant tingling in my left hand, especially in the morning. It's like having "pins and needles" 24 hours a day. Has anyone noticed this?
On the cough, does anyone notice it soon after eating, which is the case for me, or is the cough there throughout the day?
