Red hot symptoms and conditions

Was prescribed doxy for possible Lyme's. Pulled tick off within 24 hours period, but for precautionary measures was given 100mg for 14 days (1x/day) . I am cold,but my face is red hot--feels like a sunburn. I work in an office, flourecent lighting, not sure if that has he same effect as the sun. Experieonce bad stomach cramping for 2 days, then started taking 30 min after food, and not in the AM. I take it about 4 PM. No nausea. Just the "sun-burned" face.

I had my two heel injections for plantar fasciitis 36 hours ago. Immediately after the injection I had an intense numbness and tingling in the left foot and leg. Then intense pain in the left foot afterwords lasting a few hours. Approx 20 hours after the injections, I began to get a red, hot , flushed faced, terrible headache, burning, dry eyes, and i felt very hyper like i was on speed or something, like adrenaline was flowing on high, and my heart was pounding. Now, at 36 hours post injection, my face is still flushed and hot, and my headache is still hanging on. My feelings of being on speed and heart pounding have greatly improved but not subsided. My heels, however, are feeling great right now.

I started taking Dox. because I lost my baby.. and my doc. prescribed it to me so i wouldn't get an infection. Im only supposed to take it for ten days.. its day seven and I have this burning sensation that is on my hands.. My hands are all red where its burning me.. The odd thing is it started with my knuckles.. and now it has spread. The weird part is that Its only on the tops of my hands..
I talked to my Pharmasist.. and he said that it was a rare side effect..
I have never heard of an ANTIBODIC that would make your hands burn..
I stopped taking it because my hands are litterally on fire..
If anyone else has gone through this please tell me what you have done to get them to stop burning..
I tried Aloe.. and it worked for ten minutes.. cold water makes it worse along with hot water.. putting pressure helps for a few seconds.. the only releif that I have found is blowing cool air on them..

Total body rash and itchy skin and now a red hot flushing of the whole body. Not sleeping very much and 8pm everything gets worse. Two days ago a new kind of rash has started on my chest and neck, very red and hot. Nothing helps except cool water and keeping a cold pack on my chest when I try to sleep.

I had a very serious inner ear and ear canal infection. Once it cleared up on meds, I still could not hear. Dr. thought the estuation tube was still full of fluid. He gave me Prednisone. 3 tablets 1 x day for 3 days, then 2 tablets 1x day then to 1 tablet 1x day.

The first night, I woke up with a headache and could not return to sleep. That morning my face was red, hot to touch and swollen.

Called Dr. and stated those were some of the side effects. If I could tolerate it that would be the best method to try to get the fluid out of the tube so I could hear again. I am to wait until tomorrow, my 3rd dose, and if I could not tolerate the side effects, they will reduce the dose or to take me off of it.

This is just my 2nd day and these side effects are showing on me.

My mother had severe diarhia, which was yellow, about 3 hours after injection.
The site of the injection turned very red, hot, and painful with a welt in the center.

pain at injection site for days after shoot given, sleeplessness, and red & hot face also. shoot burned really bad

my face becaomes very red & hot for a couple of hours

I am a 41 yr old woman w/high cholesterol. I am on 1200 mg of Neurotin and 200 mg. of Cyclobenzaprene for spinal injury & resulting surgery 2 years ago. I have been dx'd with fibromyalgia, but I am cautious with that label. I couldn't tolerate lipitor due to new muscle pain and weakness tied to onset of lipitor usage. I was put on 20 mg. Zocor 15 days ago & I feel my life has slipped away from me. I didn't even equate this to my new drug. Today I went on the net & found this message board. So it's the zocor. :>( I cannot sleep. I can't really seem to function. The joint pain especially, and in all of my limbs is red hot & debilitating. The muscle pain, well, I feel that this must be what it's like to have a broken shoulder. Most muscle groups affected. Right now, my doc is running every test, but based upon what I am reading here, I think we know the culprit. This new, harder pain in my joints is comparable to the severe neuro hits I would get in my extremities just after the neuro surgery. It is akin to red-hot electrical hits. I hate it. I'm beginning to hate everything. Sorry for the long post.
