Hi, I was on Prednisone for a little over a month for Crohn's disease. I had minor side effects while taking it: couldn't sleep, no patience, dehydrated, dry eyes. It is the side effects from AFTER stopping prednisone that concern me. I''ve been off Prednisone for 3 weeks and I think I am losing my hair and getting acne-that I didn't have before or during taking Prednisone. Anyone experience side effects that started after stopping the med?

Hi all:

I was given an injection into the nasal tip about a month after septoplasty, to reduce swelling.

I left the office and midway home, about 20 minutes after leaving,, my vision blurred so completely that I could no longer read the street signs. I did not have a cell phone at the time, and somehow I made it safely home without needing to see totally clearly, likely because I was familiar with the route and could still make out large landmarks. My vision improved somewhat after stopping the injections, but not completely.

Recently, too, a new veterinarian treating my dog switched to triamcinolone injectables, instead of using the dogs normal depo medrol injection for hypo-adrenalism. I was not apprised of the switch and the dog began exhibiting severe muscle wasting, and weakness Finally, I checked the bottle and saw that it was triamcinolone not depo medrol. I was pretty darned upset, and requested that he be switched back

The dog is slowly gaining weight and muscle, but at one point he had lost so much muscle we feared he would die.

I received three sets of shots after having lipo. These shots were used to reduce swelling and stop scar tissue buildup. I now have a bloodclot in my left leg. Doctors are running all kinds of blood tests on me. I also have hair loss, anxiety and night sweats.

This stuff is really bad for you. I can't believe that it is on the market.

I was prescibed Methylpred 4MG Pak to help reduce swelling in my sinuses. It's worked pretty well. The only side effect I have is when I have to take 2 of the pills at one time I have a problem concentrating and am a little bit light headed. I don't have that problem when I only take one pill. Also, I drink lots of water when I take it because it leaves an aftertaste in my mouth.

I just started taking methylpred 4mg pak to reduce swelling in my surgical site. This is the first day and I feel awful. I hurt all over and have chest pain. I can hardly sit because I feel better when I am moving, but not much. I started this morning and felt the effects by about 1pm today. I don't know if I can do the full 6 day regimine. I felt so much better right after the surgery.
