Relized symptoms and conditions

I was given prednisone for extreme posion ivy at 4years old. I ended up getting posion ivy at least 6 times a year until I was 12 years old. I had posion ivy so bad that my doctor would give me a predisone shot and the pill form along with something to stop the itching. By the time I was 6 years old I noticed my clitours had enlarged, and I was able to have mutilple orgasm's, at that age I didn't understand what was going on but I didn't care. I started to notice I was the fastest and strongest child in my school. I became very muscular and a little agressive. These side affects got even more extreme as I got older. I wasn't sure why I was the way I was, I just assumed that it was normal, but I knew I was different then the other girls. I ended up having over 100 shots of prednison by the time I was 12 years old. I stoped getting posion ivy when I was 13 and stoped taking predinsone. I became real tried and wanted to sleep all day, were before I had so much energy. It got to a point where I lost all sexual feeling and I became very depressed and frustrated. I just spirled down from that point not knowing why. I had sex for the first time when I was 16 and it was painfull, that's when I knew something was reeally wrong. I started looking for answers and found that taking prednisone had made me feel great when I was taking it but once I stoped I didn't even feel like a person anymore. I got posion ivy again when I was 21 and was given prednisone again. I started to notice that not only did my posion ivy go away but I got my energy back and sexual feeling for about 2 months, I was a whole new person. That's when I really relized what had happend. I went to a doctor and told them what I had experianced. They checked my hormone levels, and found out that my body wasn't making enough testosterone or estrogen, explaining why I lost energy and sexual feeling. I started taking depo testosterone and it has changed my life. The doctor's were hesitant to give it to me, but when they saw the changes in my hormonem levels and the changes with me mentaly, we decided to keep taking it. I ended up having to find my own answer's because no doctor understood why I was feeling that way. I will have to have hormone therapy for the rest of my life. Doctor's told me before I started taking testosterone that I had the hormone levels of an 80 year old women, and I was only 21. Now I am 25 and have been on hormone therapy for 4 years, I am only half way there hormonally, I hope I get to feel like a noraml 25 year old, but I might not be where I need to be until I'm 30. I lost so much of myself and my life to this drug predinsone. If I could re-du it I would have never taken it.

i started using the nuva ring over a year ago..and had no problems switching from the patch, but i was late getting my yearly exam this year...so the docs office would not refill the prescription until i got it...which ment i had to go off and resart when my natural period started which was a month late...and im due to take out the ring and start another periond next week...but i am still bleeding from the last one!!!! if this periiod starts on time it will have been five weeks of bleeding...not to mention all the new side effects ive had from starting it a second time, ive had almoth everything listed on this site...during the moth i was off if it i could not believe how happy i was..nothing had changed in my life and i finally relized after over a year it was the birth control making me unhappy!!-im gonna call my doc asap and see about other options

i am a highschool student and have been taking geodon off and on for at least 6 months, i got BPD and have been on other stuff but this is the only one i will put up with, after being on it at least 6 months i still could not wake up in the morning, when i get up my eyes start rollin around the back of my head and i cant stay awake , i cant walk and i slur my words when i talk, at the most i was taking 20mg morning with 40mg riddlin and at night 20mg geodon, well i got pissed off at the side effects and stoped takin it in the morning. i read up on riddilin and i dont like it being narcodic so i stopped that since its summer and i can sleep a little later. long story short i thought i wasnt bipolar and had no problems this was a big mistake, a month after completly stopping geodon i relized all my close relashonships have been destroyed and blame it on not taking meds. one more thing i noticed though, if anyone gets very parinoid on geodon thats what happend to me and when i got off i wasnt parinoid, its now setting back in, i cant stay in my home alone. but anyways just thought id put my two cents in about that stuff its kinda put me through hell.

your lucky you relized what the yasmin was doing to you so fast.some of us here have been on yasmin for years before we relized what was happening to us.everybody's body is different i was on yasmin 2 years before i stopped it back in jan.with in a month i was back to my old self but there are some that have been off it even over a year & still suffering from this toxicn.yet some dr's write us off saying depression & other things whats really depressing is the fact we don't get listened to by are dr's.there is a complaint line for the maker of yasmin.i think it was posted by twogirlsmom,and someone else posted the web address of the fda to complain to also.i would make a big complant if i was you the more complants maybe the fda will force yasmin off the market.the only thing i can tell you is keep drinking water it should flush it out of your body because it worked for me.take care good luck

I have been taking Yasmin for about 2 1/2 months and since i have begun this pill i have sufferd from extream naussea and now i have been diagnoised with anxity and depression. i am not sure that yasmin is the cause for this but i am usually a very happy person, but lately i am bitter and i have a short temper and i feel like some one is always against me. other than that i am phisically healthy but mentaly i feel unsure about my self and i feel very insicure about every thing i do.
my doctor has put me on zoloft and xanex. i am still not feeling like my self and i do not sleep i have no drive to do any thing i do not even want to go out any more let alone get out of bed. i also have been getting really bad head aces when i am on the last row of the yasmin. i never relized that this pill could be causing these problems till i found this site.

i am wondering if am the only one suffering from these sympthoms ? :(
