I was prescribed Sulfameth/trimethoprim because of a small infection on my knee after replacement surgery. From the very first pill I have been extremely irritable, the sight of most food makes me sick, I have sweats and once a chill, I have NO energy, nightmares and a general depressed feeling for 10 hours after each pill. I have 2 whole hours I feel normal until the NEXT pill. I am TRYING to stick it out for the full 10 days, since I was told not to discontinue taking it! I will be SOOOOO happy when I have taken the last pill!!!

I was prescribed Levaquin (28 days 750 mg. day) for infection of subcutaneous sutures following joint replacement surgery. I have developed a severe itching on my skin. I don't have any energy and I can't sleep at all at night. I feel anxious, and my joints hurt all over. All these symptoms began after I began the Levaquin. The infection, however, began to clear up by the second day. I have to finish the Levaquin because of the dangers associated with infection of the replacement joiint.

Been reading everyone's postings and now I'm scared. I currently am on Vytorin 10/80 and today the doctor added Welchol. I just had and ACL replacement surgery 4 weeks ago and my leg aches anyhow. I can't remember a time I have not had back pain, and I have arthritis in my joints and neuropathy in my feet. Any yeahs or nahs out there for you experienced ones? Is it worth taking, do you assume all my current pains will only get worse?????
