ok so i am so glad that i found this website. i got mirena put in about a year and 2 months ago. to start off the insertion was unbelievably painful, while at the dr's office i had to be given 2 pain shots bc i was fainting and dizzy and my cramps were excruciating. the dr told me that it would go away within a week so i believed him and delt with it. not to mention he gave me lortabs to deal with the pain i was in for the week. i went in for my 6 week check up and he said that it was fine. so i kept it in. ever since it was put in i have barely any sex drive, it hurts so bad about 70 percent of the time after i have sex, to where im scared to even have sex sometimes. my periods are retarded. i have a period that last 3 days some times ..then wont have a period for 2 months then ill have a period that last for 3 weeks...light but still there.. i have gained almost 30 lbs and i feel like a fat ass and yes i do feel like its bc of the birth control but partly bc i feel like i wanna eat everything in sight. i was always the happiest , funnest person u could think of being around and after a few weeks of having this devil inside me , im depressed all the time sad, cry for no reason and am a bitch and thats not me at all!!!! I AM thinking of getting it taken out but am nervous that im overreacting , and so does my fiance, but honestly id rather not have sex for 2 years when we are ready to have kids than keep this in.

My daughter is 7 and was just put on Singular as a preventive medication for croup which she gets when she has an infection. She is not on a daily inhaler nor does she have asthma attacks at school. I asked the doctor for an alternative to the pulmicort breathing treatments b/c the prolonged use of this caused her to have dental issues (8 cavities) and he gave her singular. I am concerned of the side effects in the reviews of this medication but I need some relief for my child. She has been on the medication only 1 day is frequent urination a side effect and can it come on that quick? If there is another medication that doesn't have the side effects apparently singular has please let me know.

hi everyone, ive been on loestrin fe 24 for 4 months now. Just began my 5th, my first month i was nauseous every day all day, even though i took my pill with breakfast. on my second pack i switched to taking the pill at 10pm (right b4 bed) the nausea feeling went away. on my 3rd and 4th pack ive been feeling nothing but pure depression for no reason almost everyday. i have a beautiful relationship with an amazing man and all i can think of is that he doesn't love me....deep down i know my feelings of depression and fear of loosing my fiancee are not real/true. but although i try to control my depression it doesn't work. i cry for no reason, i don't want to work or do anything at all. ive been having trouble sleeping and this morning woke up with crazy anxiety. after the depression scare and anxiety i experienced today i will not be taking my little white pill today. ill be calling my doctor and ask him to out me on something else, this depression needs to stop. i cant live my life in fear of loosing someone. if any of you have had similar effects to this high depression of loestrin pls post about it.

Hello everyone,
I just filled a prescription for Loestrin 24 and wanted to know a little more about this pill since I have never taken birth control pills b4. I have not started to take the pill as of yet, after reading these blogs I am a little hesitant to start taking them seeing all the complains against this pill. can anyone recommend a good BCP, with little site effects.

All you are Hypochondriacs. If one person says this medicine is causing this, then of course; you all have the same problem "some how." Isn't this weird? It is called the "placebo effect." Normally all the people involved in the testing are given "Lisinopril" (or some other drug), then the placebo group is given a vitamin supplement, the group receving the vitamin supplement is being told they are receving "Lisinopril." Mysteriously?, the "placebo group" is all feeling better and their symptoms are gone. This is due to the fact that all these people in the "placebo group" have interacted with eachother and have told eachother "I feel better" than of course everybody feels better. So WEIRD!! So, my point is this forum is all your peoples "placebo group." If you guys never heard of these side effects from this forum you would have never experinced them. Hypochondriacs all of you are. This is a very good medicine that is helping all of you make up for your peoples lack of self-disipline to control your diet or exercise enough to lower your blood pressure naturally. So be thankful. Lets not complain about false side effects because John has them. I wonder what the side-effects of that cheese burger are that caused high blood pressure. It is funny, I don't see a forum for that. So deal with your so called "side-effects" that are associsted with "Lisinopril" or go on a diet people. Get over it!!

Lipitor has successfully controlled high cholesterol for about 2 years.
My recent diagnosis with Mitochondrial myopathy at age 54 leading to surgery for ptosis on both eyes was concluded after a year of various tests with cardiologists, neurologists and optical surgeons. There was no apparent cause and just my bad luck. No-one linked Lipitor with the symptoms experienced but I am now convinced that there is a link and intend to stop Lipitor treatment.
I suffer with tendonitis in my thumbs and elbow, have exercise intolerance, extreme tiredness, no libido, muscle aches, heavy head that neck does not support well, very sensitive to bright lights, occasional nosebleeds.
Can all this be merely a coincidence - I think not.
Happy to discuss further.

I stopped taking singular because it was very costly and i am also on zyrtec also, thought maybe just one med will do the trick ,but after 24 hours without the singulair i had asthma simptoms felt like my chest was burning and i couldn't exhale i have never ever had asthma. the reson im on singular and zyrtec is for chronic hives. after reading the symptoms i recalled having night mares and twice had cramps in my calves.
Im going to stop the med and go back to benidril

I was on the Nuvaring for about 2 1/2 months. In that time, I put on about 5 lbs around my midsection. I am very critical with weight gain so I went off of it. I also had some other issues such as a little dizziness and waking up with night sweats.
-- By pharaoh1 | Reply | (1) replies | Private Message meSince I've been off of it for two months, I feel like I am going crazy because of 3 things. I am SO hoping they are all related to going off of this ring! First, I have severe edema (water retention). I am 39 yrs old and normally 136, so I don't have a big weight issue, but each morning I wake up and my fingers feel like sausages. Well, this Sunday I noticed my ankles and feet were very swollen, so called my doctor. He prescribed me triamterene.
Within one night I had lost 5 pounds. The next night, 3 pounds. I was finally back in the mid one thirtys. Well, I go off of it for two days, and the water comes right back on. Along with HBP which I've NEVER had.
Then, as I was doing my 3 mile walk the other night, my chest felt like something was squeezing and crushing it. I was very scared and had to take many breaks for it to calm down.
I am so scared that there is something terribly wrong with me! I am giving it one more week to see if my body regulates itself. I am like an elderly person eating all low sodium, etc. My whole life is being turned upside down and I am afraid I am about to have a heart attack or have diabetes or both. This is insane.
