Rythm symptoms and conditions

I been taking zyrtec in tha last 2 months since I ran out my benadryl and singular prescriptions. Doc so far away i grab counter stuff till i can get to the doctor.. I to been having funny things going on with rhythm of heart.>LIke a lurching feeling ! Not often.. But like a fluttering slow to fast, then the lurch .. Then it quits? Hard to dechifer all my meds.. I narrowed to nsaid naproxen, advair I started most recent, albuterol I started last year.. The hair loss I started getting faster and faster.. Got me to searching med side affects.. and ran across this site !

I HAVE BEEN ON YAZ FOR 3 MONTHS NOW, AT FIRST IT WAS OK LITTLE SIDE EFFECTS LACK OF CONCENTRATION, MOOD SWINGS ALWAYS MAD EVERYTHING SEEMED TO BOTHER ME BUT SINCE 3 WEEKS AGO I'VE EXPERIENCED A SEVERE CHANGE I STARTED FEELING SHORT OF BREATH, CHEST PAIN, HEAVY CHEST AND PROBLEMS BREATHING, FAST HEART PALPITATIONS, NUMBNESS IN MY FACE CHEEKS HANDS AND THE BOTTOM OF MY FEET. SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE IF I WANT TO PASS OUT, SO I WENT TO MY PRIMARY PHYSICIAN I HAD A CHEST X-RAY, EKG, LUNG SCAN(PERFURIN AND VENTILATION SCAN) AND A VENOUR DOPPLER ON MY LEGS AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST BLOOD TEST, EVERYTHING CAME BACK PERFECTLY NO CLOTS OR EMBOLISM, MY PRIMARY PHYSICIAN SAID I AM IN PERFECT CONDITION SHE ADVISE ME THAT WHEN I FEEL THIS WAY TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IT HAS PAST 3 WEEKS AND I STILL HAVE THE SHORTNESS OF BREATH, NUMBNESS, HEAVY CHEST, AND ALL MY DOCTOR SAYS IS GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM BUT IF SHE DID NOT FOUND ANYTHING WHY DOES SHE WANT ME TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM ANY WAYS I DON'T THINK THEY'LL FIND ANYTHING WRONG (WELL SHE DID NOT FOUND ANYTHING) BUT THE THING IS THAT SHE TOLD ME I COULD STILL KEEP ON TAKING THE YAZ PILLS. AFTER READING ALL THIS COMMENTS NOW I KNOW IT MIGHT BE THE YAZ BUT THERE IS ANOTHER ISSUE I HAVE HAD SEVERE DIZZINESS FOR 3 ALMOST 4 YEARS NOW I HAVE BEEN TAKING MECLIZINE 25MG FOR THE SEVERE DIZZINESS AND SINCE I STARTED YAZ THE SEVERE DIZZINESS DISAPPEARED I AM NOW SEVERE DIZZINESS FREE. SO I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I AM WONDERING IF THE SHORT OF BREATH AND NUMBNESS IS GOING TO GO AWAY IS IT JUST THAT I HAVE TO ADJUST OR WHAT? AS I SAID I HAVE HAD FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS NOW SEVERE DIZZINESS( I GET REALLY REALLY BAD THAT I DO NOT KNOW WHATS WORST FOR ME NOW THE DIZZINESS OR THE SHORT OF BREATH AND NUMBNESS). I AM GOING TO MAKE A APPOINTMENT WITH MY OB TO SEE WHAT SHE THINKS. HAVE ANYONE OUT THERE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS I HAVE? WILL THE SHORTNESS OF BREATH AND NUMBNESS GO WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS? DO I HAVE TO GET ADJUST TO YAZ? PLEASE SOMEONE OUT THERE IF YOU HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU DID TO FEEL BETTER? SHOULD I JUST STOP THE YAZ PILL? Hello. I started taking lisinopril 20 mg about 1.5 months ago because of hbp and I also started taking toprol for rapid heart beat 1/2 a month before that. Although it did lower my hbp it made me feel lousy. I started getting anxiety all the time, aches in my body (stomach etc), nausea, dizziness, spaced out, and numbness in my hands. My father passed away about 2.5 months ago and so I figured that the anxiety was something normal given the circumstances. I thought that the other side effects were part of the anxiety. I felt as thought I was going to go crazy or die. I also started to become a hypocondriac thinking that if I had a pain in my stomach it might be stomach cancer etc. It was not until I found this site that I see that lisinopril and/or the toprol might be the thing that is causing me to feel lousy. I was always healthy and I never had anxiety. I understand that I shoud feel a little anxiety and sadness because of my father, but I don't feel a little anxiety, I get intense panic attacks. I feel as thought I can't get back to normal, I just feel as though I'm not myself. I want to stop this meds as soon as possible before I, too, get worse side effects. Please let me know if you all think that it is the medications or is this just part of the griving process. All I know is that I started taking this pills and all this started to happen.

hi, to the guest that asked about chest pains and whether i found out that caused them..i haven't found out exactly but when i saw my GP today i asked for a copy of tests that i have had done. the results for the ecg came up as follows.
ecg sinus rythm,left atrial abnormality,incomplete right bundle block..... i have no idea what all that means,came across something that mentioned heart disease and also another report that mentionion arrythmia (sorry about the spelling) my doctor never explained what these things were as he said my irregular heart beat was "just anxiety" so have had no follow up since. Whatever it is i know i did not have it previous to yasmin because i was on a heart moniter when i was pregnant with my daughter and they found nothing??

I know you will not like this, but I am well pround of you speciallady3996 because you have phycick abilities.
I took this drug and started getting severe palpitations of the heart and disturbance of my heard rythm.

This is an extremily dangerous drug and I would not take it, unless you plan to die. There is evidence of this problem elsewhere but the doctors don't make it public, since this would do in the reputation. Go to the BNF website and you will see what I mean.

I've just started doing some research on Yasmin becasue I just woke up with horrible cramps and an actual period! I just passed my regular cycle a week ago! Has this happened to anyone?

Also too, I've had some weight gain issues too! I never attributed my weight gain to marriage, stress, moved to NYC 1 week before 9/11 and our business is three blocks away!. Anyhow, just figured my body was changing, different foods...I started gaining weight shortly after I began treatment in April 2001, and gained a total of 30 pounds by the end of the year! I have always been a lean 135 - 140 lbs 5'7" chic, eating whatever and whenever I wanted, with a sedentary life...45 min commute to work, 8hr desk job, then home, eat and sleep...except weekends...

I've also been struggling with loss of my sex drive...Never thought It was because of the pill until found this site! Just thought it was me and some pshycological problem...

I've thought about just trying the rythm, however, I cannot get pregnant now...It's not our time yet. Have any of you been successful with it?

I've been really frustrated with how I look....I've never had to diet before, and now find myself trying the ATkins diet, and anything else, but nothing really helps long term. I don't like myself. I really do believe things will change if I get off the pill.

I truly feel for all of you who have suffered greater side effects. Hope you all start feeling better and are on the road towards improvement.
