Scopes symptoms and conditions

I had the Mirena put in in March of last year. About a month ago I went to get it removed and they could not find the strings and had to refer me to a different doctor. I went to my referral appointment today and when trying to remove it with A LOT OF VERY PAINFUL EQUIPMENT the doctor told me the IUD may be misplaced in my urine wall. He then continued to tell me that I will have to get a sonogram and go to an out patient clinic, get a sedative and use scopes and cameras to remove it. I am very nervous. I have noticed weight gain and a lowered sex drive but besides that I have not had any problems. I have actually loved not having a period for the duration of it being in. But now that my husband want to have a child we can not remove it. The doctor also told me that I may have problems after I get it removed. As much as I have liked having the IUD I do not think it is worth the problems I am now facing

My Daughter was twelve when she got her first and second Gardasil shot. The first shot went well other than the normal irritation after the injection. The second shot hurt a bit worse and for longer after, but we thought nothing of it. Slowly, she started to get very down and very tired, it was around the holiday season so we thought maybe she was just stressed out. Then, she started bleeding vaginally. There were no "warning signs" that she was starting her period, so we treated it as a Urinary Tract infection, and that's what the doctor's told us it was, until a month later, she got it again and we found that it was her period. She also started having MAJOR stomach issues, having two colon scopes, and many other tests (as well as tests for Urinary Issues as well). All have so far come back negative, but all this started occurring exactly ONE MONTH after her second shot. Needless to say, please read her about her other symptoms, and the other posts on this site and others. Gardasil, does not seem to be as safe as they say.

Hi there, Was on Prednisone for a sinus problem for a month 40mg down to 5mg and then off. Straight away got terrible aches and pains and stomach swelled out with lots of gas. Got scopes done all clear now the stomach pains have gone, got this flu hazzy brain feeling and aches. Could this be the Prednisone been off it now 7 weeks?

Ok, here is my deal. I am 22 years old and have been on Yasmin since I had my son in 2004. I have IBS, and now that I think back, until I have been on my pills, its gotten worse. I recently went to the doctor this week because of the inability to get enough sleep or good sleep. I wake up often in the middle of the night, am always tired and never have enough energy to deal with my 3 year old. I get saddened very easily. Get down on myself quite a bit. My doctor has prescribed me zoloft. I don't know what to do. If someone should have any opinions please contact me at ****** same email.

My husband used to take Altace fo HBP. It wasn't working so his dr. put him on Lisinopril in Feb. of this year, 2007. He had to keep lowing the dosage until he reached 5mg. It knocked him on his ass, he has no energy at all, no sex drive, we have not had sex since Jan. He is tired, tired tired all the time. He also coughs but is a smoker, wakes up at night with his t-shirt soaked. He has told his dr. this and he says it's where his BP gets low and his heart is pumping trying to keep up with his body. He had bloos work done and has found out he's anemic. I don't know if the medication has caused this or not. Since June 2007 he has had to have 2 blood transfusions, has gone through scopes, more blood work and we are waiting results of the lastest done Aug. 7, 2007. He goes for a CAT Scan Aug. 21, if the dr. isn't satisfied with that he's doing a bone marrow test. Could this be the result of lisinopril? Anyone else having these systoms?

Today is my sixth day on the nuva ring, yesterday the symptoms started. I was extremely sick, nausea, muscle spasms, my entire body felt weird as if my blood was not circulating right, I also had this weird pain in my neck and chest and could not sleep last night. Today I have a bad urinary tract infection (which i know is due to the NR because i drink plenty of water and eat cranberries on a regular basis) I have never felt this way before

My husband was given a sample of this for a month-long bout of bronchitis and we are now thinking it has done permanent damage to his vocal chords. He only used it 5 times, got thrush (yeast infection) in his throat and is still hoarse after a week of being off of it. Does anyone know the history of this drug and has the word "class action lawsuit" crossed anyone's mind besides mine? I am amazed at the way pharmaceutical companies run the healthcare business in this country!

I don't want to go off on a rant here, but are people aware that a large portion of the FDA's operating budget is provided by pharmaceutical manufacturers? This isn't our first experience with this type of thing and I'm about to launch a grassroots campaign to educate the public. Maybe they'll stop believing all the marketing hype.

I'm thinking that the pharmaceutical companies ought to heed the Hippocratic oath - FIRST, DO NO HARM. Wouldn't it be a remarkably different world if they would take all the money they're spending on marketing and use it to lower the price of orphan and AIDS drugs? They keep saying that research is expensive - and advertising on every possible television show, radio and magazines is cheap? Hello? Are we going to be sheep or are we going to be citizens and hold these companies responsible for what they're doing. Thanks for letting me vent. For the first time since my doctor perscribed Lupron for me, it has been terrible. The heavy bleeding, the anemia, the hair loss, the aches and pains, the headaches. I never had this problem in times past when I've used this before and it did not affect me to this magnitude. I have a history of endometriosis and fibroids, with 7 "lap scopes" and a myomectomy. I cannot explain why I've had such a terrible time with the injection this time.

I am 17 years old, and have been dealing with cysts and Endo. since I was the age of 14. I'v had 3 scopes. Two of them to remove cysts (one on ovary and one inside of ovary, which was thought to be cancerous at the time, and was acutally neg.) Third scope, they found Endo. I just got my first shot of Lupron about 4 days ago. Havn't felt any side effects yet, and pray they won't be bad! My doc. put me on a pill to counter react the side effects, has anyone else been put on tha pill? If lupron don't work, what do I go to next? A Histerctomy? Too, scary for my age!
