I am not sure -- Trying to investigate-- Shortly after starting the med, I had strep throat and developed an unusual sinus condition where my sinuses do not drain in either direction. I have such "fullness" in my sinuses and throat that at times I feel as though I am drowning on my own secretions. I have had septoplasty and allergy testing to no avail. Now I think I can trace the symptoms back to beginning treatment with Lamictal.

Hi all:
I was given an injection into the nasal tip about a month after septoplasty, to reduce swelling.
I left the office and midway home, about 20 minutes after leaving,, my vision blurred so completely that I could no longer read the street signs. I did not have a cell phone at the time, and somehow I made it safely home without needing to see totally clearly, likely because I was familiar with the route and could still make out large landmarks. My vision improved somewhat after stopping the injections, but not completely.
Recently, too, a new veterinarian treating my dog switched to triamcinolone injectables, instead of using the dogs normal depo medrol injection for hypo-adrenalism. I was not apprised of the switch and the dog began exhibiting severe muscle wasting, and weakness Finally, I checked the bottle and saw that it was triamcinolone not depo medrol. I was pretty darned upset, and requested that he be switched back
The dog is slowly gaining weight and muscle, but at one point he had lost so much muscle we feared he would die.

I've been on lisonopril since 1997 or so...never thought to really check the side effects...felt horrible since right about that time. Mainly light headed and terrible lethargy. Felt sleepy all the time. Was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and many outdoor/indoor/and food allergies. Went through septoplasty, somnoplasty, sinus surgery, etc..nothing seemed to help. Ran out of my zestril meds this morning so I did not take any until late this afternoon when I finally had time to stop at the drug store. I felt better than ever all morning and soon I as I took the lisonopril, I ended up in bed sleeping 2 hrs later. I looked at the side effects warning and it mentioned feeling sleepy, lightheaded, headache and sudden weight gain...exactly what happened to me back in 97!....Now that I found this site I think I've found the culprit!! I never thought it could be that simple!!
I am off this stuff and on the phone to my doc on Monday!!

Hi, I was on Prednisone for a little over a month for Crohn's disease. I had minor side effects while taking it: couldn't sleep, no patience, dehydrated, dry eyes. It is the side effects from AFTER stopping prednisone that concern me. I''ve been off Prednisone for 3 weeks and I think I am losing my hair and getting acne-that I didn't have before or during taking Prednisone. Anyone experience side effects that started after stopping the med?
