My son and I have both taken Welbutrin. I didn't really notice a lot of side effects. I know that it did not effect my sex drive which other meds did. I lost weight, lost interest in drinking alcohol, lost interest in smoking. Had more energy,
My son has had some different things happen to him. He gets real sharpe headache pains in the left top of his head. They come and go away within about 30 seconds. Has anyone ever had that problem? He tried getting off of the meds and experenced all these body pains. It drove him nuts so he went back on welbutrin. The body pains have gone away, but the head pains came back. The doctor said the head pains would go away if he took his meds regular.

this is my third week on topamax, second week at 50mg. am and 50mg. pm. I am taking this for bi-polar mood disorder. I made the switch after 5 years of neurotonin and a 40 pound weight gain. I am doing fine except for the horrible morning diarrhea, I don't even make it to the bathroom in time. I am a 54 yr. old female in menopause and am hoping that the morning bombings over Tokyo will eventually go away. I am very tolerant with side effects since I know that once my body becomes accustomed to the new meds they will go away but this one has me freaked a bit. Can anyone shed some light?? Thanks!

I was given Levaquin at the hospital for ttreatment of pneumonia. Inmediately after I had been administered the second intravenous dose I woke up from a nightmareish sleep with the room spinning and my pupils dialated. I was covered in a cold sweat and felt like I was going to fall unconscious. The nurse came in and put a fan on me and had me sit up. Although the hospital claims it probably did not have anything to do with the Levaquin, I know it did. Perhaps administered too quickly? Can anyone shed some light ?

Hey I'm so happy you posted. I have been reading all the previous posts and couldn't find much about the withdrawal effects of this horrendous pill.
Like you I'm 22 days off the pill and have experienced an increase of about 4-5 lbs. I haven't been eating more at all, if anything less, and have been working out /dieting but the weight doesn't move.
Can anyone out there please shed some light as to when I might see my weight return to normal. This weight gain is driving me insane.
Thanks

Hey you all,
Boy am I glad to have discovered this site. All of a sudden I find that there's reason to my numb legs, headaches and weight gain.
I've been on Yasmin from Jan 05 until begining of June. At the end of each cycle I used to get bloated but then it will go away. Now I've been off Yasmin for two weeks and I'm so terribly bloated like never before. None of my clothes fit and there's nothing I changed in my diet that should warrant such a tremendous weight gain. And it only keeps getting worse instead of better.
I was wondering if anyone out there experienced this and if you can shed some light as how long these "withdrawal effects" should last. When will I finally be back to my normal weight again??!!! This totally depresses me and I vowed never to take yasmin again. Even though I attributed these syptoms to yasmin all along, this site only reconfirmed my fears.
Thanks-any advice is appreciated.

I have been on Lupron for 3 weeks now and have had very few side affects. When I first researched this drug I was scared to death. All I had read was horror stories but so far it has not been bad at all. I am loading up on tons of vitamins including soy, mega chromium picolinate, coral calcium, and my doctor pescribed me aygestin for add back therapy. The only side effect that I have had is being very moody and some headaches. I have had no hot flashed, pain, or weight gain/loss, etc.. I'm hoping this will shed some light for those that have read nothing but horror stories. I am 21 and taking this for endo. The best advice that I can give is to take lots of vitamins and request that your doctor give you add back. When I read all these articles I was in tears I was so scared but believe me it is not as bad as it sounds...so far. If you have any questions you can email me at ******

I just finished a 7-day dose of Levaquin prescribed for a mild UTI. I noticed that for the past week, I have not been feeling like "myself." I have experienced nausea, light-headedness, loss of appetite, weakeness, a bit of insomnia, and just plain old crappiness! I really thought it was just me at first because I took Levaquin about a year ago for the same problem and didn't have any side effects that I can recall. This time, however, they have been very prominent. Your comments really helped to shed some light. I feel better now knowing that my listlessness can probably just be attributed to the Levaquin. Glad I'm done with it!!!
