Skin cancer symptoms and conditions

I have the dent at the injection site too. I have been so worried it was skin cancer. I recently saw the same doctor and asked about it and she told me it was probably a scar from when I was little! I told her it showed up in August. She said not to worry and she would do a biopsy if it got bigger. She even had in her records I was there for the kenalog shot in summer. I had the shot in early July. Please inform me of any class action law suit. I am now wondering if this also was the cause to my lack of sleep and loss of 20 pounds over the summer. I was not informed of any negative side effects.

I am going today to get this "thing" taken out after having it for 2 years i have realized this is the root to my problems!! I went to my yearly appointment last tues to learn that i have what is called lichen sclerosis (eczema of the butt) haha what the hell?? i though it was a joke, but come to find out it can cause skin cancer if gone with out treatment, and continuous scratching, and all of you who have experienced eczema know that you can't help but to scratch!! i was sure to give everyone a good laugh when i told them the findings so they prescribed a cream that made it worse, aching to find something to cure this incurable itch i made a mixture of oatmeal, honey, cinnamon, and mint yummy huh and put this on my "area". ohhh it helped and very little scratching for about 18 hrs now. i am so grateful for these posts my husband was thinking it was all in my head. on top of all this i was experiencing swollen labia, headaches, WEIGHTGAIN, moodiness,ibs,no periods(about the only thing that they will tell you), and much more. we'll see how it goes. good luck to you all. I had a severe allergic reaction to a Sulfa drug that I was taking to prevent infection . I had a skin cancer removed from my nose. As a precaution I was given Sulfa. I became very ill. I ran a high fever ( 103) . The Doctor said it was not from the Sulfa drug. Advised to go to Primary Care Dr to check for a Virus ( flu) . I ended up in the Emergencey Room at the Hospital the same day . By then I had broken out in a red rash all over my body. They immediateky asked if I was on Sulfa drug. I was given a steroid shot for the rash & tylenol for fever ;also prescription for Methylpred. It worked great. Now, after 2 months, I believe I am having side effects from the Methylpred. The instructions were to stay out of the sun whild taking Methylpred and for a while after the 6 days. It has been 2 months . When I get in the sun I break out in a rash that feels, looks & acts like a sunburn. I even peeled. I am 78 yrs old. I do not normally take drugs, so I had no idea I would be allergic to anything. The Pharmacy Dr. does not believe this side effect could last 2 months. What do you think? Ed

I am a 57 y/o woman who was given Omnicef for a precaution after having skin cancer removed from my scalp. After 4 doses, I knew something was just not right. My stomach sounded like a bowling alley. Loud, rumbling noises, severe gas, had a horrifying dream about Satan last night that scared me to death, crying spells and now this morning a very loose stool. My dr's nurse told me to stop the med, but my stomach is still rumbling around. It's frightening to think that this drug is still being prescribed so freely.

I went to see my doctor for a sinus infection, and along with prescribed oral antibiotics, he gave me a low dose shot of Kenalog. About three weeks later, I noticed an inch-size white dent in my arm where the shot was given. It is not painful, but looks terrible. I didn't know what it was; I thought I had skin cancer. I remembered the shot and asked my husband, an athlete, and he said he'd heard about it. I Google'd it, and found this site. Nice to know I am not alone! I am going to call my doctor about it. I won't be happy if this lasts forever in such an obvious area.

I need to know what the side effects are for this medication.
