Skin disorders symptoms and conditions

I was prescribed LEVAQUIN 500mg/day for 30 days. In that duration this is the list of side effects: diarrhea, sleep disorders, insomnia or excessive, and I mean excessive fatique, washing the dishes made me want to nap. heart racing, trouble breathing, tingling sensation either on my left or right side of my body, headaches. I actually finished the script, and now I have a yet undiagnosed skin condition which looks similar to MRSA, but the culture came back negative. The skin sores are very painful, so my doctor put me on DOXYCYCLINE 400mg/day for 2 mos, it didnt help the skin condition and only worsened the effects of LEVAQUIN, now my doctor has me on BACTRIM, because he is convinced it is MRSA. I am also suffering from severe depression, i never contemplate suicide, yet i would drift in and out of daydreams of wanting to quit, dizziness, when I was on LEVAQUIN my equilibrium was completely off. This skin condition is very painful, and I am on my 3rd antibiotic since June. I think I need help too!

Montelukast

Montelukast (Singulair) is a leukotriene antagonist for use as an add-on therapy in patients with mild to moderate asthma who are inadequately controlled by inhaled corticosteroids and short acting beta2-agonists. Since it was marketed in January 1998, CSM Mersey has received 31 yellow cards detailing 47 suspected reactions to montelukast including:
• 15 (32%) CNS disorders including headache and drowsiness
• 14 (30%) GI disorders including abdominal pain and indigestion
• 5 (11%) skin disorders including sweating
• 7 (15%) musculoskeletal disorders including arthralgia and cramps
• 2 (4%) psychiatric disorders.
26 of these reactions were not listed in the Summary of Product Characteristics at the time of reporting.

On the evening after my insertion, 10/11/07, which was rather bloody and took two OBGYN"S to put in place, I began feeling very ill! Shivers, cold, sweats and a very high fever set in! I was sick and in pain! It was a horrible night!!! The next a.m. I phoned my M.D. and told him what happened. It was hard to tell for him if it was caused by the Mirena insertion or something else. However, he ordered me on antibiotics for 10 days. Three days after the antibiotics finished, I began itching severely, ALL OVER MY BODY and it has not stopped!!! I am scratching my skin off!!! The itch comes the inside and my skin welts up and hives show up. The intensity comes & goes. The areas of the body vary. However, I am continuously itching; at times in desperation!!! I have held back from the E.R. this weekend, awaiting for Monday to go to the Dr.s office. I heard from a Berlex Rep (my Brother), that in 5% of women, skin disorders have been reported!!! HOW NORMAL IS THIS??? I do not wish this side effect to anyone!!! It's horribly distressing & nerve wrecking!!! Not to mention, skin destroyer!!! I have sores from scratching throughout my body... I s till don't know if Mirena is the cause, but I have not been able to determine anything else responsible... I will let you know what happens...
