I can't believe what I'm reading tonight on this page, I decided that today was the day I needed to check up on side effects of singulair, since my 5yro, needs his 3rd refill. Three weeks ago I took my boy to the doctor, because of severe weeknes, fatigue. irritability, lose of interest in studying, in sports, in home works, and lose of appetite one of my main concern, I ask his ped if maybe these could be side effects from his singulair, She said no way she hasn't heard of such effects from this drug, and that the side effects form singulair was realy mild, I took her word on it and continue my poor lillte boy in the hell he is living in, oh. she send him to the lab and draw blod for a series of exams, but find nothing so I continue my days wondering and suffering for my child, My mother-in-law even recomended counseling for my boy since we have a new baby at home, tonight I decided before getting his reffill why not do some research and find out what other people are saying? this is the first page i ran in to and I know that I dont need to read much more to take my boy off of this singulair.
ps. we can not rely on our doctors to talk bad of any drug.

It's 3:00 in the morning and I am awake again convinced I must have heart failure. I've been on Lisinopril for several months and recently have experienced swelling of the tongue, throat, and face. I also have hair loss, shortness of breath, fatigue, and tingling in my arms. Until I found this site I had no clue as to the cause of these symptoms. Actually, afraid to go to the doctor for fear that I had some potentially fatal heart condition or worse. Now, however, I'm making an appointment tomorrow right after throwing those pills into the trash. I think I can sleep now. Thanks for input.

I took Doxy as an anti malarial precaution. Worked fine, no physical side effects. Did get bitten by mozzies in a major endemic area in Nuigini but no Malaria. However, for the time I took the drug (and I did follow doctors orders for the full course) I was visited nightly by the most vivid and horrible nightmares that made it quite an ordeal to go to sleep. Now, I suffer no mental illness or take any mind altering substances. I have heard annicdotally that other people have endured similar side effects. Any other Doxy dreamers out there?

I was prescribed Levaquin 750mg for 10day for a mild upper repiratory infection. I started tingling and my body turned blood red. It was burning terribly as if it was the worst sunburn of my life. It takes me half the night to fall as sleep. Now my head is in a fog and feel more and more tired. I quit taking this damn stuff after 5 days of this. My cold got worse anyway, the drug did not help at all. What a waste of $147.00 for ten pills. I guess the drug company made their buck.

I just was prescribed this medication after going to a new dr twice and having very high BP. My last reading was 170/110. I've been on it 3 weeks now. The dr NEVER once mentioned the cough as a side effect.
I noticed it started 2-3 days after I started the medication and thought it was my allergies since I have severe allergies. The cough kept getting worse and worse, as did my tiredness. I'm up ALL night coughing my brains out from this crappy drug!
I'm 27 yrs old and now am wetting the bed thanks to coughing so hard at night!! I'm embarrased to have to sleep with a towel underneath me because I'm coughing so hard (even in my sleep) that I'm leaking urine.
I went back to the dr yest thinking I was sick because of the severe coughing and horrible sore throat. Not until I found this and many other sites did I realize it was the Lisinopril! The kicker is that yest my BP was just as high as it was pre-Lisinopril! I'm going to stop taking it as of tonight, especially if it's not even working!
How long did it take to have an effect on your BP? 3 weeks should have been enough time for it to work if it was going to IMO. I can't stand the coughing anymore! Even the codine cough syrup my dr gave me isn't helping me sleep. Now I just hope the cough won't linger for weeks like I've heard it can.

Hello my name is Tiffany, I have a 13 year old daughter whom is going through alot of issues and I now guessing it is all caused by advair not sure yet. My daughter suffers from Asthma, acid reflux, allergies since she was born, she was a premie and only seems to suffer with the asthma issues. She has gained over 60 lbs now weighing 204 from 160 last year. She is constantly complaining about back pain, phlegm in her troat, headaches, mentral cramps. can't sleep, now she seems to be going depression, the doctores wants her to see an therapist he wants to put her on lexipro. My god she is only 13 what is she depressed about, she is always nervous, and upsets easily. She missed over 40 days of school last year. Advair seems to be the only thing that has helped her breathing she has not had as many attacks but she is suffering in othe areas. What do I do. she has been on singular, flovent, provental, pretizone when she is suffering. She is on xopenex for her daily nebulizer treatment or when needed now. She takes flovent, allegra, advair 250/50, topanex for headaches, all of this daily. We are finally getting to a pulmonoligist this month hopefully he can relieve her of some of this medicine. I am going to do research on this serevent we have not tried that one yet. Now since she has been on the advair she has not had problems with her acid reflux. She did change her eating habits. Can someone tell me if they have childred suffering from this medicine as well.

I have taken restoril for 7 months. I take one 30mg capsule before I go to bed. It has 100% calmed me down. I went through a nasty divorce and I have to give restoril credit-it got me through it. The doc tried to give me Xanex (sp?) but that was the stuff my wife took and it made her crazy. One thing I will warn about, at least with me is that I can't get to sleep now w/o it. I am a very active person who works out every single day. It hasn't interfered with that at all and I have not gained any weight.

I've only been on singulair for 6 days and it is now 4:23am. I just couldn't sleep tonight. I've been having the strangest dreams and I commented to my wife about them. We just laughed it off. Anyway, at this time of the morning, my EARS are "Hissing" so loudly, not ringing, however I do detect a slight pulsating tonal sound in my left ear, that I just couldn't sleep anymore. I've a history of Tinnitus but something has exacerbated my tinnitus dramatically, so much so it is keeping me awake. I think I'll be needing something to help me sleep now. Perhaps I will stay off the Singulair for now just to see if life returns to some kind of normalcy. Could it be a side effect of Singulair. I don't know but I felt like driving something through my head to stop all the loud noise. Has anyone else experienced elevated levels, or a new development of "Ringing in the Ears", commonly known as Tinnitus?
