I started on IV Solu-medrol this past Monday for an MS exacerbation. I was on it for five days. Yesterday was the fifth day.
I have had trouble sleeping, heart palpatations and today my face is very bloated and all flushed. The biggest thing I feel is that I am really out of it and feel really tired, but can't sleep. I hope these treatments are worth it and slow down the exacerbation. I went from 4 to 14 lesions in six months and have a new one on my brainstem. I am also on copaxone, so that could be causing the heart palpatations too.

I was placed on 5mgs of Lisinopril and it really did wonders for my blood pressure. Then, on my way to a BP check at the doctor's office I almost got in a car wreck and my blood pressure was 145/85 and even though I knew it was the wreck's fault, my doctor wanted me to increase the dosage to 10mgs. I refused, but did go up to 7.5mgs. Boy what a horrible difference! I started feeling terrible. Exhausted. Not sleeping. Heart palpitations. Dizziness. Mucus, mucus, mucus! I thought I was dying! My doctor wouldn't listen to me, so I quit her and got a smarter doctor. She took my dosage back to 5mgs and it was like night and day! I have energy and less mucus (still a little stuffy in my nose). But I can work out and I don't have to go straight to bed after work any longer. Maybe a small adjustment would help some of you too.

Anxiety here too. Just want to say I took a dosage of Boaxin last June 2005 and it took 10 months to get close to back to normal. I experienced panic and fear of just about everything. The wind would blow and it was somehow a scary experience. Had trouble sleeping, heart palpitations, thoughts of going crazy. 12 months later and I would say that I still think about what I went through every day. I am 95% back to where I was before. Wondering how long it took others to get back to normal?
