Sleepness symptoms and conditions

can't sleep no matter how hard i try. 6th day on it. immediate effect of killing my depression. but replaced it with chronic fatigue, dizziness, sleepiness and worse.....CONSTIPATION AND FLATULENCE. ***? How does a tiny little pill wreak so much havoc.

Paxil was one of the best things I did with my life. It helped me keeping my job, getting married and having kids. I can't forget how I felt before that - it was a life full with anxiety and fear from the future. I couldn't talk in public and was very hard on my self when making mistakes.

Now, I'm much stronger and self controlled. But ... with good we get the bad.

Number one issue is TOO MUCH SLEEPING. This is making my wife not happy as well as preventing me of doing all thinks I need to during the day.

The Sex drive is actually ok - I used to come early during sex, so this actually adjusted this problem.

I tried to get off the medication few times - mainly before of the sleepness - it's very hard. I got headaches, zipps, anger attacks and memory lost. I don't know how to do that.

I keep on looking for the best way to get off - one idea is to go to a vacation and just close myself in a room until my body get off this drug. What do you think ?

After taking Trinessa for many years with no problems my pharmacy swithched me to trisprintec. I took it for 5 days and each night I got fewer and fewer hours of sleep. I stopped taking it and slept fine the next night, then got back on the Trinessa and slept fine. I have read other posts and havent heard any mention of sleep problems. Has anyone experienced this? Has the sleepness abated after a while?
My pharmacy says trinessa is being discontinued.

This is written on behalf of my sister, she has taken Lipitor for a few years and now she experiences back pain, severe loss of memory. At times she can not even remember her children's names. We thought that age was a factor but she was tested for Alzheimer and her Doctor said that she was did not have that disease. She urinates frequently at night and does not sleep well at all. She is depressed most of the time. She stays frustrated because she is aware that something is happening to her and no one seems to be able to help her or tell her what is wrong. The only other med that she takes is for high blood pressure and her doctor just recently changed her from Procardia which has a lot of negative side effects also. Back pain, frequently urinating at night, sleepiness' and memory loss started after she started to take Lipitor and we are trying to find an alternative for her to take for her cholesterol.
