I have had the mirena for almost 4 years and after reading all this posts, I'm removing it tomorrow. Did anyone feel nauseous and have a slight fever, breasts really sore and really tired? I have had it all anxiety, depression, palpation, low back pain, you name it.

I have been on Yaz for 3 days now and stopping it! I have been on Yasmin previously which never had any problems, just the slight weight gain, predominantly water retention, so this time, a year later, was prescribed Yaz. Immediately I felt very sensitive and down, could have broken into tears over the simplest things and also an increase in appetite. The worst though, as I have never experienced before, very lethargic and interrupted sleep, slight fever, bad nausea though not throwing up, cramping and bloatedness, having period like symptoms. Now reading this page on Yaz, I wish I never had thought to change or experiment with this and would not recommend it.

I have been on SMZ-TMP for a UTI for about 9 days and I ended up in the emergency room last night for severe rash, and fever of 102. I have had the most horrible back pain, leg pain, cramping, joint pain, muscle weakness and migraine since I started taking it. I thought most of that was due to the UTI/kidney infection and didn't realize that I am allergic to it. I stopped taking it 24 hours ago, and while I still have a slight rash, headache, slight fever and body aches I feel a helluva lot better than I have in over a month. People need to be aware that the sulfur in this drug can cause serious problems.

i had been diagnosed with a sinus infection and i had been prescribed doxycycline hyclate 100MG 2 times a day. I have been taking it for almost a week and i have experienced extreme nausea, headaches, lower back pain, lower abdominal pain, hot flashes, dizziness and a slight fever. before i saw this site i was worried that something else more serious was wrong with me.
Should i stop taking this medication? should i tell my doctor?

I had my demon mirena inserted in July 2004 after the birth of my son. Since then my life has been one nightmare after another. I have had body/muscle aches, swelling in ankles and hands. Slight fever all the time, skin rashes, dizziness, depression, my hair texture changed, insomnia, and night sweats. I was so tired I couldn't even do normal daily activities. My mood swings were so severe I began to think I was bipolar. I have been to about 15 different doctors over the past 4 years and I have been diagnosed with everything from Rheumatoid Arthritis to Lupus to Graves Disease and after finding this blog and others I know realize it's my Mirena! I called my doctor and am having it removed ASAP! She agreed that is was more than likely the mirena that has been ruining my life for the past 4 years. I didn't equate my symptoms with the mirena because they didn't start until about 7 months after I had it inserted. It was SO not worth it. I would have MUCH rather had another child than to go through all this misery for four years. I can not wait to get this thing out of my body.

So I took one pill at around 10am and a couple minutes later, I felt a headache coming on so I took a 1 hr nap. When I woke up, my head is throbbing and my eyes were bloodshot. About another hour later, I was shivering. I had a sweater an sweatpants on, 2 blankets and a heater and was still shivering. The headache was worse and I had a slight fever. Later I felt numbness on my fingers which later turned into muscle cramps all over my arms and legs. I had to position them a certain way just so the pain could be bearable. I took several pain killers and none worked. By 8pm, the pain was just horrible. I couldn't fall asleep, I was just hurting everywhere. The next morning at around 6am, I took more painkillers and this time they started working and I fell asleep. I woke up at 10am and the pain was gone. My eyes are still bloodshot but my body no longer hurts. It literally took 24 hrs for the side effects to wear off. I just can't understand how one pill can do this to someone and still have it on the market!
