Can anyone help
I have been suffering with anxiety and panic attacks for 2 weeks none stop, I can't stop worrying about everything I feel sick from the moment I get up and go to bed with worry, I worry I have a bad illness etc, I have been checked out by the doc and he said I have anxiety, my main symptoms are a funney hot feeling in my ear and i feel like my head is floating.
I dont understand why this is happening I have realised that I stopped yasmin about 6 weeks ago and i am getting upset reading all of theses messages.
could my anxiety/symptoms be due to stopping this pill?

To Desperate Boyfriend:
Well, I've been taking this junk since January (6 Mths). I've posted here before about certain side effects that now seem trivial to me. It takes a lot of my efforts to remain calm and not get freakish about my relationship that I'm in. Just the other day, my mood totally turned around and I said "I feel like something is different" to my boyfriend. Thankfully, he kind of understands that it's not all my fault. However, I've been making a consious effort to just try and relax and stop worrying about what might be wrong (honestly, there is nothing wrong).
Not to get technical, but the week after my period is the worst, I guess my body is rejoicing because that week there is no hormone being put into my body -- the first week of the new pack I feel physically and mentally like I've been hit with a Mack truck. I hate the fact that I have to take this stuff, it makes me cringe, I'm not a big fan of prescription medications anyway.
As far as your actual relationship goes... the Yasmin might be a big factor. If your girlfriend has stopped taking it, good. I haven't stopped yet, I probably should. Anyway, support her and tell her that this Yasmin might be causing underlying problems. Don't sit there and be like "look, this is what's going on". Somehow just try and sit with her and let her open up to you about how she REALLY feels. This will probably help more than anything. Maybe she really feels like her body is screaming at her or she feels like her mind is running in a 100 different directions -- she might just be blaming all of that on you because you're right there.
Keep your head up!

Advair is a drug that is delivered in 100/250/500 microgram (1.0 x 10-1 g) doses to the lungs. Research has show that there is no systemic residual fluticisone (steriods) found in your circulation. Unlike prednisone it is delivered straight to the lungs, acting only on the lungs. As for the long acting bronchodialotor salmeterol, it is very similar to albuterol chemically but acts for a longer period of time. I don't think advair is causing all of these problems. Have been on this for over 2 years and significantly controls my asthma and the two components of advair have been used safetly for many years. They have been proven in clinical trials and have brought great relief to many.
Try working out and eating better. Stop worrying about yourselves and do something interesting. It will take your mind off your weird side effects, that are mainly created by your mind.

Well, unfortunately there's no "test" which tells you that you are ill because of Yasmin... If there was such a test, it wouldn't have caused me so much pain and nerves to figure out what was wrong with me over such a long time, because every other test the doctors did came up fine.
Headaches can surely be brought on by a hormonal imbalance which you definitely are in, after getting off a bcp! Especially the headaches behind your eyes I get too sometimes (e. g. yesterday I had them again...).
The anxiety is also a symptom that can be caused by the hormonal imbalance after getting off bcp, also as depression, dizziness, nausea, and so on...
Your body definitely needs time to get its balance back again after interfering your whole system with any artificial hormones!! In my case it's already lasting 8 months and I'm still noch back to totally normal (was on Yasmin for 5 years!)!!
Well, if you didn't have any tests done, yet, you first should have a bloodwork done, especially about your hormone status, and if the headaches are really bad or get worse you perhaps should ask a neurologist about an MRI which can show if you have a kind of tumor or anything else, but I think looking at my story I can say, that you DON'T have one!!!
The MRI should just be done to insure yourself about that and to help you to calm down and stop worrying!! But these are things, that your doctor should know by himself if you're telling your story.
Best wishes and don't worry! Time will make it better!! I swear!!
Greetings
