Sular symptoms and conditions

Day 29 of Norvasc generic 10MG. I have swollen ankles and at the end of the day they a little painful. I cannot stay up past 10:30 P.M. I just feel so tired. Periodically my legs will turn red and are hot up to my knees-looks like a sun burn. I have been in a really bad mood lately. Everything annoys me...is this the meds or just me? I was on Linsinopril for about 3.5 months and coughed the entire time until I thought I was going to die. Doctor changed me to this. Swollen ankles much better then coughing all day and night. I'm just wondering if my bad mood is a side affect. Anyone have the same?

I am a 72 year old male,who like every one posting here, has HBP, and
was prescribed,Lisinopril. I have been on this medication for 5 years but
just now found this web site. I have had all of the symptoms described by
every one but just thought I was getting ready to die. My problem is that I
have been on the drug for so long I'm afraid to quit taking it. My blood
pressure is very good. Does any one have any solutions.
